Hotel Monterey Lasoeur Ginza in Tokyo

I stayed for two nights due to work and relocation. I was impressed by the quiet atmosphere and the friendly, natural service. The ambiance was beautiful, with almost no trace of hair product or laundry detergent, which are common in rooms. It's also great that all rooms in the building are non-smoking. In the hallway, where Parisian music (musette) plays, you can see antique paintings and bottles of Antake perfume in the lobby. I'm glad the foggy smell up front is a bit weaker. It was a pleasant stay, as if I were living in Ginza.

I really liked the Monterey Ginza, where I'd stayed before, so I was curious about this nearby hotel, so I stayed there. It's more modern than the Monterey Ginza, and the rooms are a bit smaller. But the women's dorm on the 6th floor? It was spacious with a double bed. The wardrobe was nice, and there was a souvenir tea set. I was worried about the crowded breakfast, but I agreed to split the time, and it ended up being a bit of a downer. Only two people, including me, on a large floor. Of course, it's a quiet meal. I was impressed by the attentive and friendly customer service and attentive service. Besides, I'd love to stay and experience this wonderful, extraordinary life.

The room is very clean. The furnishings are simple but luxurious. From the tea set to the mineral water, special amenities were also provided. There's no doubt it will be a repeat visit. If possible, I'd like to make it my permanent residence, if there's a subscription.

Close to Ginza shopping district, with a convenience store and a pharmacy downstairs. Be careful if you have large luggage due to the subway exit.

clean and beautiful. perfect for business and travel

I've stayed at both Montrey hotels in Ginza, and they both follow a European classical style. They are exquisite and beautiful, and the attention to detail is impressive. Things like the Refa hairdryer and the seven-piece bathroom amenity set are big bonuses for women! I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo!

The room was a bit too small; it was hard to even open my 26-inch suitcase. Everything else you'd expect was there. The location is excellent, just steps away from Ginza's main streets. One minor issue was that the showerhead couldn't be adjusted in height or angle, which was very inconvenient. They also offered face masks and eye masks upon check-in, letting you choose what you wanted – a really nice little touch!

Love this hotel! Such a cute French vibe. 
- Fantastic location - shops, restaurants, combini, transport (Tokyo station/ginza station) 
- Safe: need hotel key card to use elevator
- Spacious: 2 people can open their baggage comfortably
- Clean: housekeeping does such a great job, and because it’s spacious you can keep your stuff away and you can get your room cleaned every day. Even pyjamas are changed daily.  
- Amenities: loved the selection amenities that you’re open to take on a daily basis from the front desk. Refa hair dryer, and a Mirabel (?) shower head that I later learned cost $400.
- Others: There is a microwave in the lobby you can use, you’re able to store luggage with the hotel if you need, apparently there is ice at the front desk based on the info sheet but didn’t use. 

Improvement points - because the shower head is new, it didn’t sit on the stand nicely so you need to hold it when showering. Check the plumbing - can have an unpleasant smell after taking shower.

Very clean, offering many amenities to help guests rest well, conveniently located at the center of ginza, tokyo. Cost efficient.
