Guest Houses in Kazakhstan

The owner was very lovely and welcoming. The room was clean. Unfortunately, we arrived late and didn't get to take any photos of the surroundings. We left early in the morning to rush to Big Almaty. We didn't have breakfast, but the guest house was very nice and prepared a box of food for us instead. Very lovely!

Located in the foothills of Southern Almaty, Hotel Discovery is a great family-run hotel for exploring the mountains, canyons, and lakes. Breakfast is served on-site, and more restaurants are just a 15-minute walk down Dulati Prospect. On-site parking is available for guests. The hosts, Dina and Murat, are incredibly kind and helpful. They do everything they can to make you feel at home and offer...

The room was clean and newly renovated. The breakfast was prepared by the owner of the B&B. The couple was really patient in helping customers raise questions.

The host is very nice! He is very enthusiastic to help us solve the problem! The environment is also very good, like a resort. I will come again next time.

In the case of generally expensive and low cost-effective hotels in Almaty, this is a very cost-effective homestay! The mountain is a wealthy area, and the air is good. The boss and his wife are very polite, and the breakfast is freshly made and prepared very considerately. After a tiring day at work, it is very comfortable to come back and sit in the yard to relax. I took a few photos of the dining...

The room is clean, sanitary and comfortable, the environment is elegant and quiet, the service is warm and thoughtful, but the location is a bit remote, so you need a car or local taxi app.

Good location, close to the city and mountains and a river nearby. I liked everything, breakfasts in the morning and a cozy house. In the garden there is a yurt with full decoration.

For those who want to get a good night's sleep! They greet you perfectly! They help you solve problems, and feed you well beforehand. I checked into this hotel again - last year I was here for almost a week. I liked: the meeting, the good breakfast, it's very quiet. It's convenient to get to Shymbulak - no traffic jams in the morning up the mountain and back in the evening, almost no traffic jams....

Feb2025: the team at the hotel are amazing, very nice and helpful. The room is clean and big. The bathroom was not very convenient as the sink is out of the toilet and shower because it is very small, but doable. The hotel is out of the city in a very calm place and on the road to the ski slops of Shymbulak.

One of the best hosts. Vladimir is really welcoming. The room exuberates warm & cozy feels. The space is huge, with a big bed, a sofa, a study table, and a coat hanger. The breakfast options may be limited, but Vladimir has been really helpful in arranging vegetarian food for us, also goes out of the way to make the guests feel at home. The location is a little in the interiors (Can feel deserted at...

The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The location is bit far away from the city center, far from restaurant grocery store

Great place walking distance from the city center. Spacious rooms and greate host.

Spacious rooms with balcony and comfortable leather sofa and chair with desks, shelves, and refrigerator. Bedding is luxe! Hosts serve breakfast on porcelain: sausage, eggs, salad, bread, yogurt, homemade pastry, potato pancakes, coffee or tea. Free airport shuttle. Family run business with exceptional hospitality!

I stayed here at the beginning and end of my two weeks Central Asia trip. The owner Valdimir and his parents are very nice, love the breakfast, spacious room and very clean bathroom. The free airport transfer made navigating from airport to the guesthouse a hassle free experience. Definitely high value for the price!

Very good place to stay!! Big bedroom and great shower. The were very nice with us, thanks a lot!!

Overall, we didn't regret having a rest here. Not far away is Lake Bolshoe Chebachye with clean and warm water, minus the shore and the entrance to the lake is rocky (we were saved by aqua shoes). And Lake Borovoe is a 25-30 minute walk away, there are parties and entertainment there.

A great place, perfect for a family vacation. There's a pool, sauna, play areas for children, mountain views, and friendly hosts with a reasonable price list. The only downside is the 10-15 minute walk to the main beach area, but the bonus is the nearby private beach (where the water is cleaner).

An excellent guesthouse with everything you need. Beautiful grounds. Warm hosts. Clean rooms, grounds, showers, and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and excellent linens. The guesthouse has Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a playground, and a recreation area.

Alexander, the friendly host, showed us around and explained everything. There's parking, a secluded courtyard perfect for children, and a large shared kitchen. The beach is on Chebachye. The only downside is that it's a 10-minute walk to the main street, but that's not a big deal. You can also walk directly to the reserve via a small bridge from the private sector.

My family and I spent four days in Borovoe for the first time in August, and we just returned. We absolutely loved Alexander's place. There's a shared kitchen with everything you need to cook, store, and reheat food (except for a can opener and a colander). There's a large pool, and parking is right next to the house. The rooms are decent, with a toilet and one shared shower. The hosts smoke their...

A very cozy and beautiful place to relax! A tranquil atmosphere, clean mountain air, and stunning views. Everything was thought out down to the last detail; we had a wonderful time and recharged our batteries.

A very cozy and stylish place to relax. Cleanliness and comfort are top-notch, and the interior is thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is calm, perfect for both families and groups of friends. The staff is polite and attentive. A great option for privacy and enjoying nature.

We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The house was clean and cozy, with a homey feel. It was warm inside, the beds were comfortable, and all the dishes were included, so we didn't have to carry anything. We stepped outside in the morning and the air was fresh, the mountains were nearby, a real treat. We sat on the terrace in the evening, drank tea, chatted, and had a blast. My family...

We spent our vacation in a mountain cottage and absolutely loved it! We loved the peace and quiet and the fresh air—the perfect place to recharge away from the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and spacious, with a beautiful view from the window. The sauna was especially welcome after a cool evening stroll around the resort. Overall, I definitely recommend it. We'll probably be back in the winter...

Verry pretty, how can we book?

We recently spent a nine-day stay at the Hotel Adler and were overall satisfied. The meal was excellent. Every dish was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. The young employees were always there to help and advise us. The hotel itself is okay, but not comparable to German standards. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which is very pleasant on the...

The kitchen is super 👍, the rooms are not very good, it’s cold in winter and summer! The gazebos are cool, you feel like you are outside the city. The bartenders are friendly, well done. The admins are not very smiling, there are also rude people (((

Great place to spend time with good old fellows

On January 13, exactly one year since the Adler guest house delights its guests! Cakes in honor of the holiday!

The staff there are so lovely and welcoming. The resort is really cool, with lots of activities, and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, which was far too short. Great place! :-)

A top place in Konayevo. The owner and administrator are great. Everything is clear, honest, and professional. They care about your stay, and everything is sincere. I never expected it to be so good.

Excellent recreation area for a quiet family holiday, polite and helpful staff. Clean rooms and swimming pools, there is everything you need for convenience. Own parking guarded closed area. There are several pools: regular, with sea salt, children's, jacuzzi, font. There is a sauna (electric), by the way, very convenient, no smoke, opposite the sauna is a font with ice water! Opposite each room there...

Good morning everyone! We returned from vacation yesterday. Many thanks to the owner, Arif, and the staff. We traveled with our child and grandmother (almost 70 years old). The grandmother kept saying she was in heaven! And the child didn't want to go home at all. We promised to come back in September for the weekend. Everything is very convenient, with a shower after the pool. The water is hot everywhere...

Very good combination of price and quality, friendly staff, clean well-groomed area. The shore is nearby, the beach is sand. In general, everything is great 😊

Great stay! The houses are neat, clean, everything is there. The pools are also clean and there is a children's pool. There are all the amenities for families with children and parents, if you wish, you can go to the Kapchagaysky beach. Inside there are sun loungers, tables, kitchen, gazebos. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a cozy yurt in Talas and had an amazing experience. The peaceful garden and the friendly family made it feel really special. Breakfast was great, and the price was unbeatable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in Talas!

Great place, really nice host family. The girl is speaking very good English. They welcomed me with tea and some bread. It was so kind. The room was great, bed was comfortable. I totally recommend that place ;)

Really Nice and welcoming host

Nice cozy place, very clean, hosts are kind and serve good food :) can again visit them

Not Good Too Much ,, Facilities are not available

Nice hostel, located in a quiet area of Almaty. In fact, what can be said about hostels if people come there exclusively to spend the night. Perhaps the kind and helpful staff. I booked through booking, the reservation is free. I ordered a room for two, it is a room with 1 double bed, there is a TV. There is a separate kitchen where you can prepare meals; there were few residents during our stay
