Inexpensive accomodations in Kazakhstan

Good budget hotel. I have stayed there several times last year.

It turns out there's a restaurant. The pasta isn't salty, it's a bit hard. Or is that how it's supposed to be, al dente? Because of the pleasant atmosphere, I'll probably come back and try other options

This is worth visit if you are looking for Indian food in Aksai The ambience is good. Staff is well behaved. Taste of food is worth money.

There are probably no better hotels in Aksay. I gave it a 4 because they didn't give me a second towel, even though we shared one. They were a bit stingy, but otherwise, everything was new in our room.

Stayed here for 8 nights during a work visit to the Karachaganak site near Aksay. Overall comfortable and suitable for a work visit.

We didn't expect that, Shymkent city and people was good. Our Hotel Receptionist Miss Louisa was very Helpful and professional. I recommend all to book this hotel and enjoy the stay and service from Professional staff

Good hotel with good service, but be aware if you are foreigner and you come to check in late at night the is good chance if you don’t speak Russian or Kazakh there will be some language difficulties

I'm very apreciated about the Tourist Hotel service for cleaning my room and breakfast at bed ;0) My room had brand new interier. So quiet place with nice view and lot of space for rest and living.

Very nice people working at the hotel. In the process of a complete renovation. Would recommend if passing through shymkent.

Don't look outside because its a old property but they have completely upgraded the rooms, overall average experience with value for money

Breakfast is nice, it's a tad cold and the beds are only just ok but it's cheap so it evens out

I had a shared bathroom and the showers were always clean and hot and likewise the toilet was also clean. The hotel seemed almost empty, a relic of the past, though everything was very professional and well kept

On the down side, the breakfast is rather mediocre, I just wished their fried eggs and omlets could be kept warm for longer. Their Wifi can stutter a little and they dont have a single english speaking news channel on TV

Last year my husband and I stayed in this hotel. Only on the day of departure found in the bedside drawer a bunch of garbage of a personal nature. But, I would again choose this hotel next time

The hotel staff were all kind and even reinforced my bag with tape when it got torn and helped me carry my luggage

The location is in the middle of the city, so it's really convenient! You got toiletries, but just shampoo, hand and body wash, so I recommend you to bring you own But overall it was good

The shower pressure is good, but the shower head (need to be replaced or cleaned) sprays everywhere, and water gets on the floor. Naturally, it's damp and slippery

Anyway, I can speak Russian, so it's easy to communicate. 😅 This hotel provides a public kitchen with free tea and coffee.

It's a little walk from the bus stop from the airport, but it's a nice hotel. It's conveniently located for sightseeing if you take the bus. The symbolic tower, Bayterek, is about a 10-minute walk away

Room was clean, silent and huge enough. We were provided with all bathroom accessories - even teethbrush. Last day we needed to wait more than 40 minutes for ordered breakfast

The food is very good. The rooms are spacious, the beds are soft, what else is needed for a good rest.

Nice sauna, comfortable with children. There is a warm and clean pool. Friendly staff

Quite a passable hotel. Parking on the side, on the left. Roomy. The rooms are standard. Clean. The beds are not loose. Audibility is good and this is a minus.

Thought out to the smallest detail. Competitor to many hotels in Aktau.

The hotel is located not far from the Beket-Ata mosque, there are several supermarkets and small cafes nearby so it’s easy to find smth to eat

Also there’s a bus stop from where you can easily go to the Caspian Sea Personnel was friendly and welcoming

Clean, smells nice (it feels like cleaning is regular and not a blunder), non-smoking rooms, reasonable prices. Walking distance to the old railway station

And special thanks to the restaurant staff! Borsch is like in Ukraine, pilaf is like in Uzbekistan! I give it a solid 5 stars! Keep it up!

Great location if you need to go to the station. The very friendly receptionists even let me check in several hours early.

The cosy hotel. Cleaned every day. The rooms are clean, no smell of tobacco. A hearty Breakfast buffet.

Good hotel for a reasonable price. The furniture in some rooms was too old and in my opinion already it is time to change it. The Breakfast is good. The hotel location is quite convenient.

But there are a few BUT: slow Wi-Fi and turnover rates( very often changing administrators). And I think you need to invest in a hotel (to freshen the furniture, appliances, dishes)
