Guest houses with pool in Kazakhstan

Overall, we didn't regret having a rest here. Not far away is Lake Bolshoe Chebachye with clean and warm water, minus the shore and the entrance to the lake is rocky (we were saved by aqua shoes). And Lake Borovoe is a 25-30 minute walk away, there are parties and entertainment there.

A great place, perfect for a family vacation. There's a pool, sauna, play areas for children, mountain views, and friendly hosts with a reasonable price list. The only downside is the 10-15 minute walk to the main beach area, but the bonus is the nearby private beach (where the water is cleaner).

An excellent guesthouse with everything you need. Beautiful grounds. Warm hosts. Clean rooms, grounds, showers, and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and excellent linens. The guesthouse has Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a playground, and a recreation area.

Alexander, the friendly host, showed us around and explained everything. There's parking, a secluded courtyard perfect for children, and a large shared kitchen. The beach is on Chebachye. The only downside is that it's a 10-minute walk to the main street, but that's not a big deal. You can also walk directly to the reserve via a small bridge from the private sector.

My family and I spent four days in Borovoe for the first time in August, and we just returned. We absolutely loved Alexander's place. There's a shared kitchen with everything you need to cook, store, and reheat food (except for a can opener and a colander). There's a large pool, and parking is right next to the house. The rooms are decent, with a toilet and one shared shower. The hosts smoke their...

A very cozy and beautiful place to relax! A tranquil atmosphere, clean mountain air, and stunning views. Everything was thought out down to the last detail; we had a wonderful time and recharged our batteries.

A very cozy and stylish place to relax. Cleanliness and comfort are top-notch, and the interior is thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is calm, perfect for both families and groups of friends. The staff is polite and attentive. A great option for privacy and enjoying nature.

We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The house was clean and cozy, with a homey feel. It was warm inside, the beds were comfortable, and all the dishes were included, so we didn't have to carry anything. We stepped outside in the morning and the air was fresh, the mountains were nearby, a real treat. We sat on the terrace in the evening, drank tea, chatted, and had a blast. My family...

We spent our vacation in a mountain cottage and absolutely loved it! We loved the peace and quiet and the fresh air—the perfect place to recharge away from the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and spacious, with a beautiful view from the window. The sauna was especially welcome after a cool evening stroll around the resort. Overall, I definitely recommend it. We'll probably be back in the winter...

Verry pretty, how can we book?

The staff there are so lovely and welcoming. The resort is really cool, with lots of activities, and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, which was far too short. Great place! :-)

A top place in Konayevo. The owner and administrator are great. Everything is clear, honest, and professional. They care about your stay, and everything is sincere. I never expected it to be so good.

Excellent recreation area for a quiet family holiday, polite and helpful staff. Clean rooms and swimming pools, there is everything you need for convenience. Own parking guarded closed area. There are several pools: regular, with sea salt, children's, jacuzzi, font. There is a sauna (electric), by the way, very convenient, no smoke, opposite the sauna is a font with ice water! Opposite each room there...

Good morning everyone! We returned from vacation yesterday. Many thanks to the owner, Arif, and the staff. We traveled with our child and grandmother (almost 70 years old). The grandmother kept saying she was in heaven! And the child didn't want to go home at all. We promised to come back in September for the weekend. Everything is very convenient, with a shower after the pool. The water is hot everywhere...

Very good combination of price and quality, friendly staff, clean well-groomed area. The shore is nearby, the beach is sand. In general, everything is great 😊

Great stay! The houses are neat, clean, everything is there. The pools are also clean and there is a children's pool. There are all the amenities for families with children and parents, if you wish, you can go to the Kapchagaysky beach. Inside there are sun loungers, tables, kitchen, gazebos. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a cozy yurt in Talas and had an amazing experience. The peaceful garden and the friendly family made it feel really special. Breakfast was great, and the price was unbeatable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in Talas!

Great place, really nice host family. The girl is speaking very good English. They welcomed me with tea and some bread. It was so kind. The room was great, bed was comfortable. I totally recommend that place ;)

Really Nice and welcoming host

Nice cozy place, very clean, hosts are kind and serve good food :) can again visit them

We’ve spent great time. Everything was wonderful. Appreciate Bekzhan for his service. I would like to visit Rixos Water World again in near future. 🙌🙌🙌

In general everything is fine, but at the arrival there was some confusions and misunderstandings regarding room providence. Each employee was helpful, especially Bekzhan housekeeping assistant in answering questions and showing what does hotel have. Hope that all quests will enjoy their time.

Located outside Aktau city, Rixos Aktau is a beautiful 5 star all inclusive hotel on the Caspian Sea with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Room 4306 – Guest Review During my stay at Rixos Water World Aktau from 04 to 09 October 2025 on the occasion of TurkicSkills-2025, I was deeply impressed by the outstanding service. The Housekeeping team – Nagima, Tozagul, and Raisa – performed their duties with great professionalism, care, and attention to detail. My room was always perfectly clean, tidy, and comfortable thanks to their efforts...

I stayed with my family for one week at the Rixos Aktau Hotel in Kazakhstan. Although the hotel is part of the well-known Rixos chain and is reasonably good in terms of cleanliness and facilities, in my opinion, it cannot be considered an international hotel. The main issue lies in the cultural approach. For example, at the barbecue, the food is prepared in advance and placed out for guests. When...

No complaints! Everything was at a high level. Food, water, everything is great. There is a swimming pool where children are not allowed. There is also a lot of entertainment for children. Water park and amusement park on the territory. All visits were included in the price of our stay. We are very happy.

Great hotel with amazing pool, sauna and gym. Food is also good and staff are very helpful and professional. Highly recommend.

Twenty years ago the whole Rakhat was shining, today shines only elevator.

The room was clean and tidy, and although the facilities were a bit old, everything worked perfectly. The hotel also boasts a swimming pool, spa, and other amenities, and the breakfast spread was quite extensive, though it did get a bit crowded in the mornings.

Facilities: Excellent Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Elegant and spacious Service: Attentive

I was fotunate to book the renovated room, it was surely good, the AC is the only issue as it takes time to cool the room, also faced a small issue with the plugs next to the bed, they tend to disconnect after some time and you have to remove the card and reinstert it again, the breakfast area had a good buffet and nice seating area ( indoor and outdoor ) room service sometimes take time to attend...

Location is great, within short distance from great cafes and restaurants. Hotel room is nice and clean.

The InterContinental Hotel in Kazakhstan offers excellent service, clean rooms, and great views. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the location is convenient for transportation. It's a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, convenient transportation; within walking distance of the CBD; shopping malls nearby.

The room was average. The facilities were a bit dated. Cleanliness was acceptable, and the environment was just okay. However, the service was excellent.

The location was decent, and the breakfast was simple – just enough to grab a bite. However, I'm unsure why the room wasn't cleaned for two days. The check-in process at the front desk was just average.

The room was excellent, but it was quite pricey.

The hotel is definitely a bit old...

Loved our stay here! It's clean and the staff are friendly.

Everything is good about hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, awesome location near 3-4 shopping centres

Front desk spoke English, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a good design, was clean and made up everyday with new towels. Fantastic location, near 2 malls and other cafes. Will definitely come back here when I visit Astana again

The hotel is close to the yurt-shaped shopping mall (Khan Shatyr). A good 20-25 minutes walk to the Baiterek Tower. If I understand well it is the ex-Marriott hotel. Unfortunately, the new hotel management is not doing a good job to maintain the Marriott standard. Just a few examples: the safe was not working in my room. The bathroom is aged with broken tiles and the handle for the shower tap stayed...

Very outdated room with dust and old furniture

Technically it was my second stay at this hotel, cause I booked 2 nights separately: one night with breakfast included and another one without breakfast (since we needed to leave hotel early one the last day). Surely I sent special request to give us the same room and explained why did I make bookings separately. Hotel managers didn't check those request though. And when I mentioned it during check...

Ive stayed here several times and its the same each time. Pleasant, clean, friendly staff and good food. will stay again in the future.

Hilton Astana stands out as one of the premier business hotels in Kazakhstan’s capital—offering a combination of scale, quality, and service that aligns well with international executive travel expectations. Located adjacent to the EXPO district and government ministries, the hotel is ideally positioned for diplomatic, commercial, or conference-related engagements. The property itself is modern, architecturally...

Didn’t have variation in breakfast rest were excellent.

Good location, close to the airport, with big shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, very convenient to go to aifc for meetings

The room was clean and tidy, but a little cold. Overall it was good

Excellent hotel in the expo area, everything you need is inside, but you need to understand that it is a 30-minute walk to the center

Had a very comfortable stay at Rixos Hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, and the environment and location were both great.

An older hotel, which is not a bad thing. Breakfasts were fantastic. Our family had a negative experience with check in, cleanliness and safety in our room, and we had to address these matters with a manager. It’s obvious they need to deal with service quality when they make mistakes and get to a point where safety and customer satisfaction are priority.

The room was decent. The ambiance and service were both average.

The lobby and the surrounding area are very nice.

The hotel is old and quite run-down.

The breakfast offered a wide selection.

First time in Almaty, and choosing this hotel really elevated my entire trip experience. First off, the front desk staff had excellent English, so communication was a breeze. Secondly, both the hot spring and breakfast far exceeded my expectations. The hotel views were also fantastic. The only downside is its slightly out-of-the-way location, which means taxi rides can be a bit long.

Great location, amazing nature. Loved the trees and huge territory to walk. Nice “quarter” restaraunt. Bowls there are must try

Extremely satisfied! The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is excellent. You absolutely must try the pool and sauna. A special shout-out to the bartender who, even though I was the only one there late at night, still made me a drink and brought me snacks. My two-day stay became even more perfect after it snowed. The breakfast had a good variety and was of high quality. A truly perfect vacation

Everything was great, but the air conditioning and heating didn't quite cut it, making the room a bit cold.

Overall hotel was very nice. The room was big and bed and covers were amazing. Everyone was very nice and friendly. It is put of town, so away from a lot of things. The breakfast was great and in room service good as well. The last evening, there were kids using hallway as playground which didnt allow to relax, but overall everything else was very good. Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful relaxing mini-break there with my family. This was our second stay at the hotel and the rooms, the food, the amenities and the service were all superb. The spa facilities were the highlight of the stay, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools and saunas. A special shoutout to Denis, who is the resident personal trainer at the gym there. He is super knowledgeable and helpful. He kindly...

I extended my stay for another night, and I must commend the hotel's thoughtfulness. The breakfast was quite good, but because I'm lactose intolerant, I got diarrhea after drinking milk. When I asked if the hotel had any medication, they first checked if I was allergic to it before giving me the medicine. They were very considerate and attentive.

It's nice, at the foot of the mountain.

The hotel is in a good location with spacious rooms. The level of service doesn't match the stated level. The bathroom is in terrible condition. The drain in the shower stall is clogged, and it's not fixed during cleaning. The shower faucet closes under its own weight, requiring a hand to hold it in place. You can shower in the bathtub, but the drain blocking valve is damaged, and the shutoff mechanism...

Facilities: Old facilities Cleanliness: Very good Environment: Excellent natural environment and decor Service: Average, inefficient

Clean hotel, but dull and dark. Services are okay.

First room was smell bad of smoke even though my booking was non smoking room . They gave me other room was good after i complained. I think hotels used to give worst room who booked through trip.com . It happened in my previous trip in Bali.

Location: Situated on the banks of the Ural River, right on the border between Europe and Asia. Accommodations: A 5-star hotel featuring 194 rooms, including standard rooms and long-term apartments. Amenities: Known for its outdoor rooftop pool (one of the best in the city), an indoor pool, a gym, and a spa. Dining: Home to Dolce Vita, a well-regarded Italian restaurant, and a popular pizzeria.

A great place for a massage. Elena is a great masseuse.

What a fantastic hotel! The decor is classic European and American. I heard it cost $700 a night over a decade ago. The location is fantastic, and the rooms have river views. There are lots of people strolling and fishing along the river.

Hotel is very old, however staff is amazing and very friendly. Breakfasts were bad and didn’t have decent options, no boiled eggs or omelette and only weird color scrambled eggs. They didn’t have also lactose free milk option during the breakfast which is not acceptable.

The staff are absolutely fantastic, it is refreshing to see such a high standard. The cleaner is like a machine, she works so hard and everyday leaves the room like new. Great job by all, Thank you

I have been living there for business. Excellent staff who knows how to cater and maintain the facilities in top notch condition. Flexible and cooperative staff. Restaurant menu can be improved. Gym and pool facilities are top of the mark. Sauna and massage services are excellent.

Very clean, excellent health and fitness facilities. Higher standard and price than most other hotels but worth the price

The hotel facilities are relatively old, but it is also good in the local area.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The breakfast is very rich.

After separating from the Marriott Group, the hotel's management was in a mess.

Very good, but you can't cancel in advance

Excellent service by the great team of the hotel, thanks fir the chef who made indian veg food for us, Special thanks to Mr Askhat Zhumabayev from the Reception front desk for making our life much easier and enjoyable with his fluent english and friendly approach… Delightful and memorable stay at Renaissance Atyrau… See you soon guys💐💐💐

The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent.

The service is good. The room inside is nice. It’s warm enough to stay inside.

1. Clean 2. Comfortable 3. Great location I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again.

Good hotel. Decent location. Would stay here again if travelling back to Astana.

New hotel, good service, comfortable lounge

Very clean and modern. Good location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a comfortable stay with great rooms and restraunt. The hotel manager Mr. Tamer was very hospitable and gave personal attention to each guest. Thank you so much...Holiday Inn, Almaty.

The room quality is comparable to a budget hotel in China, quite dated. To my surprise, they didn't even provide complimentary bottled water; you either had to buy it or boil your own using the in-room kettle. The only upside was the free international power adapter provided in the room.

Great stay option in Almaty City for tourists. Good rooms, super amazing Breakfast- Massive Spread with Several Vegan options too. Luxurious Decor and amazing helpful staff. Special Thanks to front desk Supervisor Mr. Bahitzan and Restaurant Host Mr Shobi Tamer.

The front-desk service was excellent, fluent English and smooth communication. On my first day they even helped me sort out small change for a taxi and provided useful sightseeing tips. The location is convenient, with a shopping mall right across the street, and the room was clean up standard.

Very nice hotel. Stay here several times. Good balance between quality, comfort and price.

Very professional customer service. Breakfast options are great. Reasonable pricing and walkable to city center.

Honestly this hotel is good. But it isn't great. I've stayed in a cheaper and slightly more expensive hotel and both were much better as an overall experience. The staff are nice but aren't the most hospitable, the food was ok and service therein was meh. The spa, sauna and hammam are fantastic. The room is good but again not great. Overall this hotel is good and in a great location. It's not what...

It is a very nice hotel in every sense. The employees are very friendly and caring. I recommend

The location of the hotel was excellent. The rooms are a bit worn down but clean. We arrived before the official check-in time. Even the hotel was not fully booked the reception didn’t give is the room before the official check-in time. On the booking I made a special request, high floor and away from the elevator. We got a room on the second floor (actually 1st floor) and right beside the elevator...

Classic Rixos hotel with perfect Turkish hospitality in the capital of Kazakhstan. Spacious rooms, excellent service and yummy abd and fresh breakfast.

Best halal breakfast menu Nice hotel interior Friendly and helpfull staff We should come again for next visit

Good location. Good meal 🍽️ on breakfast 🍳

Excellent stay in the Kazakh winter. The service was excellent, especially at the Chalet restaurant, with our table waited by Rinat. Kazakh beef is a must have here.

The hotel is in a stunning location with amazing views – truly breathtaking. However, the room had an unpleasant sour smell, likely coming from the carpet, which affected the comfort of the stay. Additionally, the staff on the hotline or at the hotel phone desk were not proficient in English, making communication difficult. While the surroundings and scenery are excellent, the room condition and language...

amazing wonderful great nice hotel

Big thanks to Anastasia from room service! 🌸 She was always quick, attentive, and super friendly. Every order arrived right on time and with a smile. It was a pleasure to talk to her — such a kind and positive person! Thanks to Anastasia, our stay felt extra comfortable and easy. 💖

I really enjoyed my time in Borovoe — such a beautiful place with amazing nature and fresh air. 🍂 The atmosphere here is calm and relaxing, perfect for a cozy getaway. Both Silk Way and Chalet restaurants were wonderful. The food was delicious and beautifully served. I especially want to thank Bibi for her kind and attentive service — she made every visit so pleasant. And a special mention to Dinara...

I recently stayed at Rixos Borovoe with my husband who has GOLD ALL status. The hotel is very beautiful. The service is exceptional. Everyone is very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Restaurant Chalet has such a beautiful interior as well as nice food and beverage items. Restaurant L’Olivo had big variety of breakfast items, deserts and drinks. Special thanks to restaurant manager Diana and...

Staff were very helpful, kind, caring, professional and supportive. Definitely recommend to others, positive experience.

It was an exceptional experience, from the beginning to the end. Amazing staff, spotless room and very good service. Thank you guys!

Amazing hotel, great customer service, good food, excellent all round, highly recommended

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent, the food 😋good. I will return and make use of the spa and gym facilities as they were not open on my stay due to having work completed. Overall a very pleasant stay with staff who go out of their way to make your stay worthwhile- 👍🙂🙂

Rixos Khadisha Shymkent place combines the charme of a vintage hotel with state-of-the-art amenities. Very friendly and professional staff. Quiet environment.

Sulu is the best who work in Rixos hotel She helped me twice a day and I would like to thanks the hotel and the stuff. A great place to stay in. Sulu is the best who work in Rixos hotel She helped me twice a day and I would like to thanks the hotel and the stuff. A great place to stay in.

Amazing hotel! We came for a conference for 30 people! From the organizational viewpoint, everything was at a top notch level! Staff very helpful and professional. From check-in to check-out the process was swift and courteous. Special thanks to Mr. Musa, and wonderful ladies at front desk Guliza, Aida, Mariam and Dilnoza. They were very kind and helpful. Food and beverage were very tasteful and...

Lovely experience the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast buffet had many options. I highly recommend you speak with Ademi, Zhanat, Dilnoza, and Bota from the front desk. They helped us with everything and gave us recommendations for amazing restaurants in Shymkent. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at Rixos Khadisha Shymkent. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and excellent service. The staff was always friendly especially reception girls Adema and Dilnoz, attentive, and ready to help with any request. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the services fully met my expectations also the food was amazing . I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Mustafa from the staff for his professionalism, kindness, and excellent service. Always smiling, helpful, and attentive, he truly made my stay more enjoyable. A big thank you to the whole team...

The hotel environment is clean and quiet, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is spotless. The service is warm and efficient. Its excellent location makes getting around easy, and the amenities are complete. It offers great value for money and is perfect for business travelers.

Everything is excellent with nice stuffs, clean room, good breakfast. The hotel is located really near the subway station.

The surrounding scenery changes with the seasons. The Almaty Hotel is conveniently located, clean, and has a great environment. From the room's balcony, you can see the snow-capped mountains 🏔, and waking up to that view feels wonderful and very relaxing. The breakfast is also good.

Our 2 nights stay in this hotel is pretty good, location is also very convenient. Just 5mins walk to a 24hrs supermarket, Almaly subway Pubs and some eatery like Rumi which is their popular local food chain. Rooms are comfortable, toilet is clean n new, breakfasts is pretty good. Just a bit disappointed because i stated during my booking that it is my wedding anniversary trip, so usually Hotels will...

I loved the room with a view of the snowy mountains! I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. The breakfast was also excellent.

It was a very hotel with good staff. My room felt a bit aged but was clean. Was impressed with the hotel overall and would definitely recommend to others.

Old, but good location and service.

Very good property at good location

Overall is good, I stay with my family. Everything was good, except internet. It is interrupted frequently.

Room is nice and clean, location is ok, shower can be improved, overall good value!

Good hotel staff are Adament , can’t even stretch time from 7am to 6.45 am As we have to catch flight and asks then to give some juice or fruits but they rejected , and all Our money for breakfast is go in vain

Large parking space, close to shopping centres.

Great service, convenient location, and very clean 🤍

Great hotel! Great service, everything is clean! Thank you so much!

Facilities: Very advanced. Although it opened in 2017, the interior is excellent and doesn't feel dated. Cleanliness: Excellent, with a housekeeper to help maintain cleanliness. Environment: Constant temperature and humidity, very friendly in cold Astana. Located right on the central axis and just a 5-minute walk from the Tree of Life Monument, it's a great place for a trip. Service: Very attentive...

Beautiful hotel with incredible facilities and excellent attentive service, would definitely visit again.

🤔🥹🫨 the neighbors didn't let me sleep.🫨

Amazing hotel with great views to the city on the upper floors. Very friend staff.

1. This hotel is pretty much like a budget hotel in China – small rooms and very basic facilities. I strongly do not recommend it. 2. The room doesn't provide drinking water, and there isn't a convenience store nearby, so the only way to get water is from the dispenser in the hallway. 3. The service attitude was also just okay, not worth the price.

Novotel Almaty City Centre Hotel. Set in the heart of Almaty City, a few hundred feet from the iconic Soviet era Khazakstan Hotel and 20 to 30 minutes from Almaty Airport, this Novotel is modern, clean and with all the usual, essential amenities. Only one main downside is the room aircon is set by the hotel during winter months to run warm. It cannot be adjusted in the room so it became too hot and...

Great location, and the breakfast was good.

Facilities: Feels like a relatively new hotel for the area. Cleanliness: Pretty good. I had lower expectations after reading reviews for other hotels, so it was actually fine. Service: Decent. Overall, it's a good 4-star hotel, and it even has a pool (though I didn't use it). The breakfast was just okay, but that might be typical for the local area. It's also very close to the subway.

Everything was good..staff is friendly..service was great..

Located right next door to the Kok-Tobe cablecar station, and in walking distance to lots of good cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and professional. Breakfast was a little crowded and understaffed (some empty breakfast options and lots of dirty plates etc), so I recommend going to breakfast earlier. However, this didn't affect my stay, and I would...
