Located outside Aktau city, Rixos Aktau is a beautiful 5 star all inclusive hotel on the Caspian Sea with plenty of bars and restaurants.

The Housekeeping team – Nagima, Tozagul, and Raisa – performed their duties with great professionalism, care, and attention to detail. My room was always perfectly clean, tidy, and comfortable thanks to their efforts

watering the grass throughout the territory should probably be more often, so that there is no yellow grass. install artificial palm trees like on the Aktau embankment next to the beach

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and pillows. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and a restaurant. The hotel is I a very good location shops, banks,restaurants around.

Good hotel. The level is very good. Not ultra modern but very cozy. Breakfasts are very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is parking. Wi Fi. Near the sea. Gym. Sauna. Pools - indoor and outdoor.

Behind the hotel is the Caspian Sea, which is very close. The Caspian Sea is great and it is safe to go there at night! I don’t recommend going to the restaurant on the third floor of the hotel

A very cozy and beautiful hotel. Nearby is a trail. Hearty breakfasts. A wonderful terrace with a sea view. The terrace menu wasn't particularly impressive, though.

The room is large and clean, the bed is comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and varied; one day they even served sturgeon for breakfast. Upon arrival, we discovered a clogged drain

The room is large, the toilet is small, and there is no iron. It is very inconvenient to iron clothes when traveling on business! Many waiters at the front desk did not speak English, only one did

After staying for several days, one day the room was not cleaned that day, so I went to the front desk to ask for water and toilet paper, and it took me three times before they were delivered

This hotel is a four-star hotel, 375 per night. The only drawback is that the air conditioning is not cold in this season, but the windows and interior facilities are very modern. It is better than many hotels in Almaty.

Walk up to 15 mins to the nice Caspian sea

One side has a sea view and the other side faces the street. After all, it is a chain brand and the price is quite reasonable

Breakfast was adequate and rooms were clean despite a less than stellar sea view

Everything else, if necessary, must be ordered at the reception. The shower itself is without curtains, only glass on one side, so sometimes the water was far beyond it

Excellent hotel in the city center. Smiling staff, comfortable rooms. True, all rooms have one large double bed. There are only shower accessories in the room

Very helpful and friendly staff, plus the swimming pool and sauna was a nice add on and the temperature in the pool was great. I liked the location of the hotel It was near the beach

I also liked the recreation area, all the saunas, showers and hamam are functioning, a wet steam room with essential oils, a phytobar, there is also a good bar-restaurant and a gym, showers and a locker room are equipped with everything you need, there is a jacuzzi in the pool, enough sun loungers and tables

We lived in two adjacent standard rooms on the 5th floor at the "family" rate, it is cheaper, the bathroom is equipped with good plumbing, cleaning is scheduled on time, the rooms have air conditioners and working Wi-Fi, thoughtful lighting, convenient storage places for things and bags, a full-length mirror, albeit outdated, but high-quality furniture and textiles

Bathrobes, slippers and hygiene supplies are available. Food - breakfast is included, tasty and varied, lunch in the form of a business lunch exceeded our expectations, thanks to the cooks and administrators

Common areas: corridors, toilets, halls, elevators correspond to the level, clean and well-kept. The staff is polite and responsive, drinking bottled water is replenished and included in the room rate

From the wishes: in the spa and pool area I would like unobtrusive background music, live plants, a dispenser with drinking water (after all, five stars, why bother) and a centrifuge for wringing out a swimsuit in the locker room

The breakfasts are also good, with a decent selection. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. We ordered room service in the evenings — the food was delicious

The room is large, clean, and has everything you need. The mattress and pillows here are excellent and comfortable. The bed, however, is a bit narrow for two, but it's not a major issue

Great hotel, I really liked everything! Very kind staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, very nice hall with carpeted floors. There is a minibar, a kettle with mugs and tea bags, it is close to the restaurants.

I originally booked an apartment in Aktau, but it had an incredibly uncomfortable mattress and old pillows. I had to urgently find new accommodation

In the end, I booked this hotel and regretted not doing so from the start. The hotel is located in the city center. It's clean, cozy, and comfortable. We received a free room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise

The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including facilities for both relaxation and work. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is conducive to a relaxing and productive stay

Our room had a balcony with sea view that was lovely but also view to the water park, thankfully there was nobody there as it would be noisy. The spa area is very pleasant with a lovely swimming pool and sauna

It's out of the way so expect a long walk to the center! Overall a very nice breakfast and the room was decent! With seaside weather, it may be hard to keep the place in top shape!

It is indeed a good hotel in the area. Good location, good environment and good service. It is just a little small, but there are too few locals so it doesn't matter if it is too big. The room is not small.

Lovely staff! They noticed it was my birthday during my stay and gave me chocolates with a card. They were very helpful and allowed a late check out without any issues. We stayed on two different occasions

It is in center of the city, all needs are very close to hotel, and comfort apartments, Also, staff very kind, one minus they are not speaking in Kazakh which is not acceptable for Kazakh people

Very nice stay at this quiet seaside hotel. There is no pool or gym or fancy amenities but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Big, spacious room, decent wifi, a good breakfast for this part of the world, windows and balcony for fresh air and AC if needed plus hotel access to the beach. Safe and TV in room but no English stations

Been here for one night in summer, 2015. Ordered food and they got exactly what I ordered. Prices for food, especially water are higher than Baku, Azerbaijan. But Aktau is notorious for high prices

hotel is comfortable and clean. staff are friendly. breakfast is nothing. hotel view is not good. worth if you can not find any better hotel.

Check-in is after 2 PM. Luggage storage is available. The room is quite spacious. It's easily accessible by bus from the airport, and very close to the Eternal Flame and the beach, making it very convenient.

A very nice hotel with great value for money.

It's a very clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and the showers are hot. However, the walls are thin, so you can hear noise from nearby rooms, which may be a problem for some people.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The first night was wonderful. But at the second night, the lights of the whole room suddenly went off and couldn’t be turned on again

We were on the Caspian Sea for the first time and decided that we would not take a hotel with its own beach area, but would take one within the city limits to see the city and have the opportunity to change the "picture" every day

We were very pleased with our decision and choice of hotel. We saw all the beaches, visited water parks, walked around the city. A big plus was the cuisine of the restaurant located in the hotel

Hotel in the city center. All within walking distance. The sea can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, and the rooms are as in the picture and excellent staff

Great staff! Price / quality is fully consistent. Quiet, 5 minutes from the seafront. There are many cafes, shops, etc. nearby.

The beaches are 5-10 minutes away by taxi

The superior suite meets all requirements. It's a large, spacious room with luxurious furnishings, a large bed, and a fireplace that was impressive. There are places to eat, an elevator, and parking

Expected a classical lighthouse but it's actually a lighthouse on a roof of Soviet time apartment building😎

There was a fire in this building a while ago

The picture was taken from inside the staircase. We couldn't access the lighthouse. It is under the jurisdiction of the navy but there was nobody there when we arrived

The place is falling apart and is in dire need of repairs! But it has it's charm, a lighthouse on top of a derelict, dusty, soviet building

The locals didn't know how to get in touch with the key keeper

I didn't expect there a house and hostel.

Average low prices match the service. Dont be fooled by the fact that sea is close (quite dirty to swim). You better go to resort zones in suburbs such as Tree of Life, Tethys Blu Park and Stigl-20minutes by car.

The location is good, everything is nearby. Walking distance to the city beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, with good views and enough plugs to charge your stuff

There are signs every where that foreigners should registered within three days of arrival - please don't ignore these as it will cost you a USD200 fine

It's actually ok hotel. Staff is a bit to serious but still friendly. Location is excellent.

On every floor there is free water. The included breakfast is ok (for me it was not enough)

The sea view is gorgeous! Wi-Fi does not work everywhere (on some floors there is none at all). We booked through Bookling with a sea view, but alas they gave us a room without a view

The guy at the reception asked to pay extra (with a sea view), I wanted to pay by card, also alas, only a transfer. A murky story, left an unpleasant aftertaste

I lived on the 12th floor, everything was great. Spacious rooms, everything was light, minimalist.

The hotel is located in a house, one entrance hotel (they made a hotel out of apartments). The rooms are good, warm, there is hot water (but no hair dryer). There is also a kitchen with all the amenities

Clean, comfortable and friendly stuff

There is a large supermarket and an amusement park nearby. The staff are not very friendly, and it is a hassle to have to go up to the second floor to reach the hostel reception. However, it is excellent value for money

However, perhaps because there aren't many guests, there are four beds to one room, but I was able to use it alone the whole time, and there is also a toilet and shower in the room

There is complimentary water available too. I booked three nights in a single room via a booking platform for 24,000. I would thoroughly recommend and should I return to Aktau, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

The room and adjoining ensuite were clean, comfortable and airy. There was a television, wardrobe desk and chair as-well-as a lounge armchair, AC, a refrigerator and ample other necessities included

Clean pool, the water is changing real time, a bit over chlorated, but it's definitely much better than the other saunas. Beer is cheap, however it's ok. Also there's hamam over there

I really liked the receptionists and other hotel staff. Any questions were answered promptly. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, porridge, cheese, sausage, tea, and coffee. I definitely recommend this hotel

A comfortable, quiet hotel in the Primorsky district. The rooms are clean, with a shower and air conditioning. There's a water cooler in the hallway, so there are no problems with water

Another important feature when traveling with a group is the option of a single or double bed. This is precisely why I chose this hotel and I haven't regretted it

Be aware that lights turn off automatically, service 4 out of 5. In general very nice place to have a rest
