In general everything is fine, but at the arrival there was some confusions and misunderstandings regarding room providence. Each employee was helpful, especially Bekzhan housekeeping assistant in answering questions and showing what does hotel have. Hope that all quests will enjoy their time.

Located outside Aktau city, Rixos Aktau is a beautiful 5 star all inclusive hotel on the Caspian Sea with plenty of bars and restaurants.

I stayed with my family for one week at the Rixos Aktau Hotel in Kazakhstan. Although the hotel is part of the well-known Rixos chain and is reasonably good in terms of cleanliness and facilities, in my opinion, it cannot be considered an international hotel. No complaints! Everything was at a high level. Food, water, everything is great. There is a swimming pool where children are not allowed. There is also a lot of entertainment for children. Water park and amusement park on the territory. All visits were included in the price of our stay. We are very happy.

Twenty years ago the whole Rakhat was shining, today shines only elevator.

The room was clean and tidy, and although the facilities were a bit old, everything worked perfectly. The hotel also boasts a swimming pool, spa, and other amenities, and the breakfast spread was quite extensive, though it did get a bit crowded in the mornings.

I was fotunate to book the renovated room, it was surely good, the AC is the only issue as it takes time to cool the room, also faced a small issue with the plugs next to the bed, they tend to disconnect after some time and you have to remove the card and reinstert it again, the breakfast area had a good buffet and nice seating area ( indoor and outdoor ) room service sometimes take time to attend...

The hotel is close to the yurt-shaped shopping mall (Khan Shatyr). A good 20-25 minutes walk to the Baiterek Tower. If I understand well it is the ex-Marriott hotel. Unfortunately, the new hotel management is not doing a good job to maintain the Marriott standard. Just a few examples: the safe was not working in my room. Very outdated room with dust and old furniture

Technically it was my second stay at this hotel, cause I booked 2 nights separately: one night with breakfast included and another one without breakfast (since we needed to leave hotel early one the last day). Room is small but overall location cleaning service food everything is perfect

It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast has a good spread amd hotel has a beautiful ambience and views.

Location was quite central with lots of supermarket and food options nearby. The room looks like it was newly renovated. The toilet has heated floors but it was small and space was very tight. We were given a late check out on our last day but it was very noisy during the day; it sounded like drilling work coming from the floor above. The buffet breakfast was quite substantial.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the breakfast is incredibly rich. It's a local landmark; you can spot both the hotel and the TV tower from the airplane. Our triple room consisted of two bedrooms, offering views of the distant snowy mountains.

Had a very comfortable stay at Rixos Hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, and the environment and location were both great.

An older hotel, which is not a bad thing. Breakfasts were fantastic. Our family had a negative experience with check in, cleanliness and safety in our room, and we had to address these matters with a manager. It’s obvious they need to deal with service quality when they make mistakes and get to a point where safety and customer satisfaction are priority.

First time in Almaty, and choosing this hotel really elevated my entire trip experience. First off, the front desk staff had excellent English, so communication was a breeze. Extremely satisfied! The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is excellent. You absolutely must try the pool and sauna. A special shout-out to the bartender who, even though I was the only one there late at night, still made me a drink and brought me snacks. My two-day stay became even more perfect after it snowed. Everything was great, but the air conditioning and heating didn't quite cut it, making the room a bit cold.

Overall hotel was very nice. The room was big and bed and covers were amazing. Everyone was very nice and friendly. It is put of town, so away from a lot of things. The breakfast was great and in room service good as well. The last evening, there were kids using hallway as playground which didnt allow to relax, but overall everything else was very good. What a fantastic hotel! The decor is classic European and American. I heard it cost $700 a night over a decade ago. The location is fantastic, and the rooms have river views. There are lots of people strolling and fishing along the river.

Hotel is very old, however staff is amazing and very friendly. Breakfasts were bad and didn’t have decent options, no boiled eggs or omelette and only weird color scrambled eggs. They didn’t have also lactose free milk option during the breakfast which is not acceptable.

I have been living there for business. Excellent staff who knows how to cater and maintain the facilities in top notch condition. Flexible and cooperative staff. Restaurant menu can be improved. Gym and pool facilities are top of the mark. Sauna and massage services are excellent.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a comfortable stay with great rooms and restraunt. The hotel manager Mr. Tamer was very hospitable and gave personal attention to each guest. Thank you so much...Holiday Inn, Almaty.

The room quality is comparable to a budget hotel in China, quite dated. To my surprise, they didn't even provide complimentary bottled water; you either had to buy it or boil your own using the in-room kettle. The only upside was the free international power adapter provided in the room.

The front-desk service was excellent, fluent English and smooth communication. On my first day they even helped me sort out small change for a taxi and provided useful sightseeing tips. The location is convenient, with a shopping mall right across the street, and the room was clean up standard.

Came there for a business trip Couldn't sleep at night due to unbearable heat in the room . Cooling air conditioning was not working . Even if the hotel is connected by the city heating system like they said . Still, the cooling option should exist . Could not sleep before my work I got dehydrated and was sleepy at work . Hotel is a little old but still had a comfortable stay. The beds were with wheels and moved around but were very comfortable. I stay here often and enjoy it very much. A solid unpretentious member of the Radisson family. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and everything works. Kind and welcoming staff. The only downside is miserable food, breakfast or any other. Luckily the next door there's an excellent Italian cafe.
