Everything was kept in excellent condition, and the room was cleaned twice a day, which we truly appreciated. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is the rooftop on the third floor

However, nothing could be further from the truth — this hotel turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable and well-sized bathroom

At first glance, the front of Ocean V Hotel may not make the best impression. When we arrived by bus and saw the building from the street, we were honestly a bit worried

It is a public beach, but absolutely stunning and very beautiful — definitely a big advantage of this location. Another great benefit is the proximity to Grand Baie, which is only a few minutes away by taxi

The food deserves special recognition. The quality is outstanding — comparable to top-class restaurants. The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are excellent, and every meal felt like a fine dining experience

Although the hotel is not located directly on the beach, the beach is just across the street and only about a five-minute walk away

The pool area was perfect, a size in which you could swim, depth which allowed you to sit, stand or float, never crowded, quiet and if this was not to your fancy the area right out front of your room was a sheltered, shaded and wonderful view or take the free shuttle over to Iles aux Cerfs each day

We wanted the cosiness of a small hotel, one bar, one restaurant, one pool just 50 or so rooms, quiet, welcoming, personal, friendly, accommodating, relaxing, no children and the Tropical Attitude delivered it and delivered it in bucket loads

Comfy bed, breathtaking sea view from my room, quiet environment, surprisingly good food, and friendly staff. We got 5-star service, absolutely loved it

All the rooms have a sea view; the rooms are spacious and make excellent use of open plan living

Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff. Beautiful and quiet location. Restaurant was excellent, with nice variety and fresh produce. Nothing was too much trouble for them. An ideal stay for couples and adult groups.

From the reception on arrival through out our stay to the reception on departure nothing in any department was too much trouble, service in all quarters what you would expect from a hotel with more ‘stars’

Hotel has a relatively good location with a beautiful view of the sea. The beach is nice but narrow, with difficult access to the water over slippery rocks

Food - see further down The major pluses of this hotel is that every room has a seaview and the staff working there are so friendly and helpful

Set in a lagoon that shelters the beach from the bigger waves you can see in distance. Plenty of snorkeling to be done

The pool is freshwater and not heated so it takes a few minutes to acclimatise 😉

There is always a breeze on this coast so you can enjoy the sun and keep cool at the same time. The cocktail drink made and served within a coconut is a must but it's not on the all-inclusive menu but worth the £6

A special mention to the people below who helped make our stay an absolute pleasure and one where we would definitely return and recommend: Gaytree - room - she kept the room lovely and clean

We were two couples from Finland staying 12 days. We were happy for the service, tidyness, the weather, the warm climate. The beach was nice and peaceful.

The welcoming was excellent, no delays , parking facilities. Staff was very nice and not forget the cocktails was very wonderful Food is delicious and the view is fantastic Willl come back again

Return stay for 3 weeks at the end of October/1st week in November. Can't rate this hotel and the staff enough

We had a day package today at Friday Attitude. The staffs were so polite and welcoming. Thank you so much to the lady at the front desk, Ms Princy; the main cook, pastry chef, barman and all the courteous staffs

Drinks were good too and they have a large variety of cocktails to select from especially for an all inclusive package. Food was good though more items can be added to the open buffet

Sorry I can't remember their name. As vegetarians, me and my friend were treatd with yummy veg food and desserts

Thank you once again for the wonderful service, we will choose the Constance chain for sure again. We liked the hotel position - the beach is beautiful, you can walk long, the sand is very nice and water color so nice

Went on Tuesday night for our wedding anniversary. We received a warm welcome and the food, especially the seafood plate was amazingly delicious.

Your kindness and professionalism do not go unnoticed. The snorkelling deserves its own chapter. Right from the beach we saw many colourful fish and even turtles, which many people pay extra money to see on excursions

The resort is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely views, and the beachfront was simply stunning

Check-in was quick and seamless, and throughout my stay they remained consistently attentive, approachable, and genuinely helpful

We experienced it for free, just steps from the hotel. One tip: don’t forget to bring water shoes with a hard sole. And we must mention the hotel’s very special visitor – a dog named Zoo (I hope I spelled it correctly)

The parking is situated behind the hotel so kindly search the Mei Yan Restaurant parking and park the car there

The location is very good! The beach has 4 umbrellas and 8 sun loungers from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. But no one warns that they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays

The staff is excellent; I've asked them many times with requests, and they've been helpful with everything. The rooms themselves are a bit tired, but everything is clean, cleaned every day, no complaints

The hotel is quite well located for accessing the beach, Casela, or Port Louis. However, the hotel is rather dated with a lack of soundproofing in the rooms. We could hear conversations from the rooms or the hallway

The cocktails at the bar are good, but the breakfasts and dinners are disappointing. I've tried the menu a couple of times for lunch—they cook from the restaurant menu and it's delicious

The hotel is wonderful, in a great location close to the beach, grocery store, cafes, currency exchange offices, and souvenir shop

A hotel with a very nice atmosphere - friendly staff, nice rooms and beautiful territory. A wonderful long public beach and park

In summary, we had a lovely holiday in a lovely location and hope to return again soon. IMHO This resort deserves more than the three star plus rating that it has earned

The room are spacious and clean. Food at tandoori restaurant is amazing. Everyday there is something in breakfast for Indian. The hotel is very clean,just infront of the sea. Pool is very big and well maintained

Excellent location and within easy access to a sandy clean beach, pine forest and public transport and you can also hire a car at the Reception

Another restaurant named is indigo ,there too food was very nice. The staff are very helpful , specially the hotel manager Lobin. Vimal and Arvin gave us a very good service. Will definitely recommend Tarisa

The apartment was great, with three bedrooms all having their own bathrooms. The pool and the beach area is quite nice, and there are some nice restaurants within walking distance

Clean pool, manicured lawn, security that ensures safety and reliability. Everything creates an atmosphere of comfort and you only think about rest. Separately, I would like to note the work of the Warren manager

Wonderful beach directly in front of the house. Great corals!!! Very nice and quite Area. A lot of space in the house nur equipement did not always Work...no problem, nice Restaurant close by...

Very clean rooms and direct beach access (private beach). It was the finest beach around there and we’ve been all over Mauritius. Breakfast on request(?), but wasn’t offered. Awesome place!

(Only sharp knives were missing or I could not find them ;-) ) The beach was beautiful and could be reached by stairs from the terrace

Die Lage war toll, man muss nur über die Straße gehen, schon ist man am Privatstrand, auch der Public Beach ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist TOP, ein paradiesisches Studio auf Paradise Island!

A supermarket can be reached by taxi for 300 MUR (London Way in Maheboug) Great thanks to Mary Ann and especially to Natasha our Houese keeper who kept everything perfectly clean. Hopefully we will come again :-)

Excellent Gala Dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant. Located near the sea and shopping centers. Rooms are very clean with stunning view. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff members. I highly recommend this hotel

They have everything you need for a smallhotel, only12 rooms. They're basic but spacious with sea views.

Strategic location, convenient parking in the back, and spacious, clean rooms. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast.

Sajjan ensured a good healthy breakfast was packed the days we headed out early morning for our trips. Vinesh helped us with the tours around the island. Very Happy 😊 with the service of Azur Paradise

The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Both the small pool near the reception on the ground floor and the SkyBar restaurant on the rooftop are lovely places to relax

The location is excellent, with all essential services and the beach nearby. A larger shopping mall, a big grocery store, a self-service laundry, and other conveniences are within a 10-minute walking distance

Our family found the rooms to be clean and spacious. Its right on a beautiful stretch of beach, (plus the pool is really nice too)..all located close to nearby food market.

We stayed as four adults and two kids, and the place worked perfectly. Ground-floor, a straight view over Kamal’s garden to the beach and the sea

The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook proper meals for the whole family. Bread delivery at 8:30 every morning is one of those small things that makes a holiday feel easy

Sky Bar is operating at a very high level, and Kunal Robin is a real asset to the hotel. Talent like this elevates the entire guest experience. Highly recommended – this is exactly how a hotel bar should feel

Very good hotel and restaurant. Especially Sunil supported us very well in getting a reservation in the restaurant. Roof top bar with quite good music and cocktails and good view to the sea.

Add to that fast, professional service and genuinely warm hospitality, and you have something special. I truly hope the Hotel General Manager and the Food & Beverage Manager are aware of what they have here

The bar itself is stunning – breathtaking views, especially at sunset, a relaxed but classy atmosphere, and a layout that makes you want to stay longer than planned

I also liked the clean outdoor shower by the beach. My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE THING about ocean villas is the incredible Balinese massage. Also best price that I’ve come across in the area

It's a good, small hotel with its own beach. There's a wonderful restaurant (for a fee). The hotel offers water trips (free). I liked the Balinese massage (not expensive). Budget-friendly and family-friendly

In the complex right on the beach there is a lovely restaurant decorated in a boho style and the staff everywhere are very friendly. We had family villa 201, which was beautifully furnished

The hotel is nice and friendly. Our room was very good, decorated for our honeymoon with flowers and a cold bottle of champagne waited us in the room. The garden is beautiful,the beach is very close

Has a private beach and some activities included in the price which was a plus. The only negative which needs to be taken care of is that the toilet has no door to separate it from the bathroom or from the bedroom also

In terms of things that could have been better: - the mosquitos in the garden were eating me aliiiive :( - the pool was not clean and the jacuzzi was not working - better dinner options for picky eaters

Great hotel- beautiful and clean, across the rode from the beach. The staff are very helpful and kind. Planed 1 night but stayed 2...

We booked sea view room and it was worth it. Their breakfast is also good. They do ask if you are vegetarian for breakfast options

Very nice hotel right opposite the beach. Literally cross the road - and you are already on the beach. The hotel itself gave the impression of being new, large rooms with modern renovation

Another highlight: you get sunbeds with umbrellas by the pool, and you’re also allowed to use the beach loungers from the neighboring hotel

We recently stayed at Gold Beach and were extremely satisfied with our experience. It’s a smaller hotel with a lovely pool located right by the beach

a great carrefour supermarket about 30 min walk which was a nice beach walk. Probably my only negative and a suggestion. bar and restaurant at night on the weekends is very noisy so ask for a room

Excellent location right on the Beach, great user friendly facilities, nice pool, buffet dinner was good. Pleanty variety of food to select from.

Plus, everything is within walking distance — you can stroll to other beaches, and there’s a bus stop and a supermarket right outside. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel

Housekeeping, especially Vijayen, was very attentive — the room was always clean, and all our requests were taken care of promptly. We had half board (breakfast and dinner), and the food was consistently delicious

The location looks like the tv show “melrose place”. It is so peasfull and resting. Silence, only birds singing ecc ecc. After the day at the beach going back there was like heaven

The pool was divine and in such a lovely setting, being off the main road also means it is quiet

The big supermarket is in about 6k away - a short and cheap bus journey or a quick drive if you have your own car. The kitchen was full of useful bits for self catering which was really helpful

Richard was a fabulous host, who was always available to chat, he sorted transfers and tours for us and was just what we needed for our first time on the island

The site is ideally located on a very peacefull beach, with very little people passing by. The view is spectacular, from each villa and also from the huge swimming pool

Stayed at White Oaks Villas over the 2025 festive season. Wow!!! So much better than expected. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were a family of 10 people, from teenagers to granny

Old Years eve on Troux aux Biches was the best old years eve to date. Fantastic! Manisha, the administrator, was brilliant. Simply everything was perfect. Sutton, the driver, was so kind and very professional

Honestly, the best food we had was at the beautiful Mon Choisy beach next to the hotel—it's not only a great place to walk and swim, but also to eat together with the local community

I also really enjoyed the fantastic breakfast and the peaceful pool area. However, there is a significant noise issue that guests should be aware of

The nearest shop is a bit farther from the hotel, but you can take the bus to the large Super U Grand Baie supermarket, or use the mini kiosk next to the hotel where you can buy water, beer, fruit, and also tasty freshly prepared fast food

Renting a car (and booking tours) is worth doing on-site through Cindy (the price-to-quality ratio is fair), but keep in mind that the car rental doesn’t include full insurance—there is an excess/deductible

" This was also after he told us we were "not allowed" in the office, so we had to have this conversation by the pool. No apologies, end of discussion

Very friendly staff. The rooms are not very spacious and the hotel has seen better days but its welcoming and relaxing in the common area.

10-15 minute walk to the public beach and a 30 minute walk to a little village, Grand Baie, where there are quaint shops, a nice mall and wonderful restaurants

Can't fault our stay here. Jerome has thought of everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend this little gem.

After we told the young white guy, who working that evening (I think he was French), that it was communicated to us that laundry was a 24-hour turnaround service and that we would not have time to pack the next morning, he rudely told us that there was no way to get the clothes sooner and that it was "impossible

We were again told that cash was required for hotel and restaurant services AND there was no ATM within walking distance, which meant we had 10 minutes to pack WET clothes, arrange transportation to and from an ATM, which was about a 10 minute drive away in Grand Baie, pay our bill (and try to eat breakfast, which was, again, starting service late)
