The location is beautiful, right by the beach with shallow water full of fish, perfect for snorkelling and having a dip

They also provide free beach towels and sun loungers (although they are very limited, so you’d better keep an eye on them from your room!)

We had a bungalow. Service was top notch and the proximity to the beach was ideal. Value for money and quality of food isn't so great in the restaurant, so I've not been able to give it a five star experience.

They gave us a basket full of pastries (slices of baguette, pain au chocolat, croissants), one choice of juice, plenty of coffee options, a jug of tea, three types of fruit slices, one type of cheese, one protein option (sliced chicken ham), three types of jam, one type of butter (no vegan options), yoghurt, cereals, and only one type of milk (no vegan options)

SORRY, IT WAS 2 COURSES, OUR DESSERT NEVER CAME!!!! Our main course took ages to arrive and IT WAS COLD!!!!!!!! HOW CAN THEY MESS THIS UP SO MUCH? After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes, we were fed up waiting for dessert and went back to our room

The WiFi doesn’t really reach the room and comes and goes, so make sure you have good data on your eSIM!! That said, it does connect to the TV, we watched Netflix without any problems. There’s also a nice big comfy sofa

What makes this place even better is the location—it is very close to the sea and surrounded by everything you need. Having a hypermarket, shops, and bus stops nearby made getting around so easy

I looked for cleanliness, security, good amenities(basic kitchen utensils & cultery), good location(Next to Super U, close to several restaurants, some 10mins to Church) They also offer touring, but unfortunately I'll catch up next time

We have stayed at Monalysa for two times in the apartment which is very clean. The girls are very pleasant and very kind. They advise you and organize outings. It is very well located in Grand Bay.

I especially loved being so close to a bakery for fresh breakfast every morning. Highly recommended for a convenient and satisfying stay!

OK location - not exactly in the center but still only 5-10 min walk from restaurants and the beach. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Massage, barber and lots of other services are offered on site.

Everything went so smoothly, rented the car from the reception for 2 days and I really enjoyed it! Then when I went to return the car I was so lucky to met the manager Ajay, who with his incredible hospitality skills made my holiday with my parents in Trou aux Biches truly memorable! The villa has air conditioning but unfortunately in our particular villa, there was a gap between the door frame that opened to the decking by the pool from the bedroom on one side and this allowed lizards to get in despite keeping all other doors closed

The beach is about 300 yards within walking distance from the Villa. Overall a very nice and enjoyable experience

For our food there was an amazing buffet and many varieties of drinks. The staff was really kind and nice we brought some drinks from outside They offered to keep it in their fridge for us

So no “water activities” as is the case with a beach hotel but as locals who just wanted a break from the house & routine & had a birthday to celebrate, Horisun gave us all that we wanted in beautifully landscaped grounds

Roshan & Sang welcomed us warmly & then left us to our privacy. It is the low season so there was only one other couple besides us in the 15 room hotel. We were given a large room with a lake view & an outside balcony

Dinner was an “extra” which we asked for & consisted of a three course set menu with Thai influences. We only stayed the one night & the next morning, took a quick drive to the beach to watch the sunrise

& because we too live in the east, when a birthday approached, I thought why not try Horisun, if only to eat some authentic Thai food. Horisun is not by the beach but as a bonus, it has an inland lake

If we wanted, we would have had a 15 min walk to the beach. Breakfast is included with fruit, crepes & an omelet as well as the local gateau piment & pain aux chocolat

The only “activity” within Horisun is the pool which we enjoyed

A very nice villa located south of Port Louis. Property was very nice, veranda overlooking pool and sea was super relaxing and staff was excellent!

After we returned home, we realized we had accidentally left some jewellery behind in our room. The team at Villa Anakao kindly kept it safe for us and helped us arrange a courier to have it returned

Excellent place. I am glad i choose this place. Makes you feel at home. The house is really good with maid cleaning provided everyday. Very close to popular beaches, super markets and restaurants.

They also provide you with nice towels including a beach one. They even provide you with a washing machine, ironing board and an iron. Cannot fault this place at all

Amazing family escape with clear shallow waters for swimming and snorkelling especially for kids. Buffet and drinks all in were a good treat. Highly recommend the island walk and taking time facing the crushing waves.

It is really close to the amazing Blue Bay snorkeling area (circa 200 metres) and all equipment is available of you don't have your own. The service and the lunch are really where this island adventure really excels
