Stray dogs are on the beach but in Mauritius every dog belongs to everyone, it is a kind of natural bonding. They don't bother anyone and happy if someone feeds them

The Bay Area and beach depends on the weather, sometimes when too hot the water becomes shallow and slightly murky but other times beautiful and crystal clear

You can walk for kilometers along the beach in both directions. There are a few rocky spots, but they are easy to pass. Beautiful views and a constant ocean breeze, which actually makes the heat comfortable

The fruit selection was also surprising for a tropical country — mostly oranges and bananas, sometimes papaya or pineapple. On Mauritius it is easy to buy fruits like watermelon, melon and mango almost everywhere

The selection was very small and the quality often disappointing. Portions were extremely limited — even a quarter of a chicken was divided into several small pieces and you were given only one
