Used this villa as a short break away from our Mauritius home while we were visiting from the UK. Belle Mare is just up the road from our home in Trou D'eau Douce but it's notably cooler at the villas - the aircon in the bedrooms certainly helped! We were given 2 villas opposite each other with my parents and sister in 1 and my husband and kids in another. My son and daughter LOVED the private pool...

Had a wonderful stay at orchid villa, staffs are helpful. Beautiful and clean place. Foods are very tasty only the cesar salad i didn't like for me its doesn't look for a cesar salad. Please try to do it with cesar sauce and topping with parmesan not with cheddar cheese.

Orchid villas is the perfect place to have some peace and tranquility at an affordable price. The lady at the reception is really friendly and helpful with almost everything. The villa is VERY spacious and maintained well. Pool services are great and are cleaned every day. The money spent was definitely worth it. Just beware of the mosquitos.

Been there twice this year. The booking process to getting the keys to the villa went smoothly. The villa has 3 rooms, a big living space, with decent amenities in the kitchen. The pool is not huge or too small. We enjoyed it. Truly recommend. Had a good time. Will surely go back again.

The location is fantastic – a beautiful beach is very close by. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable; we felt right at home and slept wonderfully. The house is located in a quiet residential area. Ashok and Renuka are lovely and take care of everything. We especially enjoyed the fantastic breakfast every day. We highly recommend the Impala.

The best bed and breakfast is owned by a delightful elderly couple. This charming establishment boasts a kitchen and two bedrooms in each of its three units on the first floor. The owners are wonderfully sociable; we even invited them to join us for a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, which made for a memorable experience.

Located less than 300 meters from Trou aux Biches beach or 500 meters from Mont Choisy beach. A very warm welcome awaits you from Ashok and/or his wife. The lady was super kind and welcoming. It was noisy in the room during the night, but apart from that only positive experience and really great for the low price.

The staff were tremendous and so caring and helpful. A husband and wife caretake the place and you would have thought they owned the place based on how careful and considerate they were. The room service staff have a very good attitude. The breakfast is delicious, no oil, bread, coffee eggs, etc., all natural. It has air conditioning, TV, and refrigerator. It is very convenient and close to the airport.

There is no airport shuttle. Take a taxi! The hosts were very nice. Breakfast was average but tasted good. Light in the room was quite dim. There were no towel bars anywhere. To get into the bathroom, you have to squeeze between a large, seemingly mostly empty piece of large furniture and the wall to get past the bathroom door. Sikamifer Resort in Mauritius Sikamifer Tourist Resort is a wonderful place to stay in Mauritius. Mr. Jean at the reception was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant staff were kind and helpful. Very friendly staff Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. There are barking dogs in the neighbourhood that might affect your night sleep. Room keys need to be left to the reception in the morning for the cleaners to use so it might be of inconvenience when you plan your day.

Rooms are small, location is little difficult to find as it has access via a very small lane. Parking is a major challenge specially when you want to frequently take out your car. But it is budget friendly.

Great place, only drawback is that the beach is quite rocky in this area hence swimming in the ocean is not ideal, other than that great place and facilities.

We stayed in 2022. Positives - Great views and nice breakfast. The morning walks along the beach was out of this world. Negatives - It was extremely stressful finding parking at the premises and often we had to park far away or end our day early to ensure we had parking. This is a great choice to stay if you're on a budget and is a 20 minute walk from beautiful Trou-aux-Biches beach. There are also nice places to eat nearby and buses going to and from Port Louis (no 20, 31 rupees, one hour journey).
