Hotel Parador Cancun in Cancun

The worst experience ever! First, i arrived and the lady at the concierge said that they don't have any rooms avaliable. I told her that i got a reservation with ******* and finally she gave me the room but in return she gave me the worst room ever she had.
The nightmare starts from there, the room was filthy, outdated, with broken sink, mold in the shower, floor, inclusive i found roaches!
Please stay away from this property if you want a decent pleasant stay. They don't care about customers cause i told her how we can fix this before a potential bad review from us, but she just told me to to do it. Not even a simple sorry about it. Unbelievable!

Bare bone room with a/c that works only in full blast ice mode. Unspeakable bathroom. Unfriendly front desk person at the arrival. Loud noise from surrounding area all night. Construction work with heavy concrete drilling starts early in the morning. Avoid this place.

Definitely wouldn’t stay here ever again
I never stayed at a hotel where you couldn’t drink. The price was cheap and I can see why. No speaks English. The hotel is in a pretty run down area. You definitely don’t feel safe. The room had a weird smell. My room key looked like a house key. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

We arrived at the hotel and the staff was quite serious. They gave us the keys to our room, but when we entered, we were disappointed. The room smelled damp, the doorknobs were broken, the furniture was very old, and the bathtub floor was all cracked. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi didn't reach the room. We went to complain and ask to be upgraded to a decent room. They finally gave us a "superior category" to the one we had booked, and it was somewhat better. It was renovated, although it was infested with mosquito repellent (we had to sleep constantly reapplying repellent).

The only good thing about it is the location: close to the ADO bus station, the bus stop to go to the hotel zone, and the van stop, and close to the center and main street.

Even so, we wouldn't stay here again. They sell you the idea of a 3-star hotel, but this is far from the truth.

I booked a cheap place with the intention of just sleeping. The location was good, but the old room and the smell of disinfectant on the floor made it uncomfortable.
