They also had live music at some point. There was a little inlet where there was no seaweed which was nice. For inly 300 pesos you get access to the beach (with day beds) and the cenotes, great value

I really love this place, tranquil and relaxing. I have been here many times and he always takes care off me. It is because staff like this my wife and I and our friends continue to come back

It’s on the beach with a beach club away from the lodging. It’s quiet, the staff is friendly, and…it’s right on the beach. It’s also next to the protected beach of the Tulum ruins. Walk pretty much all day if you want

I had an amazing day on this great beach in Tulum. The beach was beautiful with a little cenote type of are by the beach was so beautiful to swim. The music , the food and the service was fantastic

Their single water dispenser is located near the front desk, and we went there often to refill our glasses and reusable bottle. After about the sixth time in one day, they started giving us some pointed looks

The hotel is located in the national park which can be good to know. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, scooter or bike to move around with more ease and will also give you more options for eating out

The rooms need a bit of work, the hot water didn't work correctly, the shower curtain was moldy, and there are no fidges. The breakfast is decent and included

Because one is required to discard plastic water bottles upon entering the Zona Archeologica, there is no way to access potable water aside from what you can get from Alito

The beautiful beach is right there, and they have a pretty darn good breakfast that’s included. Rooms are a bit dated, but that also adds to the charm

There is a lot to like about Alito Hotel. The location is fantastic; you really can’t get too much closer to the ruins, if that’s on your bucket list

I had the most relaxing stay at IKAL. i booked a trip to celebrate my birthday month. The hotel concierge was super helpful in booking my private airport pick up and drop off. I booked the maya plunge and it was stunning

Amazing stay for nature lovers! It’s absolutley beautiful here the staff and very kind and helpful! They have so many unique private accommodations that all have their own charm! They have a variety of activities for their guest such as yoga, healing ceremonies, sound bath ect… The hotel is family friendly as well

Tulum is very expensive, so be prepared to pay more for everything in général in comparaison to other places Mexico but Ikal still deserves 5 stars because the higher cost applies to all of Tulum

I booked a private tour to visit the ruins, cenote and ven a la luz. The hotel arranged a private tour guide Nelson who was amazing. Words can't describe how beautiful this sanctuary is

The room and property were well kept. The food was delicious and staff super friendly. The wellness programs were included with my stay and were super therepeutic

Santiago and Edgar were wonderful. The housekeeping was amazing. The plunge pool was perfect. Close to amazing sunset rooftops

Room service cleaned everyday and put new clean towels. We were also able to enjoy the music from Mateo's restaurant but no worry they shut it off by 10pm. We didn't eat breakfast there so can't give point on that

Maria Del Mar is a beautiful hotel located with it's own private beach. The beach is indeed beautiful with a couple of look out points. You also have exclusive access to sunbeds

We had the most incredible honeymoon at Maria Del Mar! Our concierge Santiago helped us to create an amazing itinerary and adapted for us as we made changes! They also recommended a wonderful taxi driver, Armando, who graciously took us to each excursion and offered expert advice to help us enjoy as much as possible :) Edgar, Enrique, and Sergio at the front desk were always ready to chat and help...

All the staff was super friendly, the first night we struggled with the heat even with all the windows open and the fan going but the other nights were perfect we had no issues

Is a great place, very rustic, try not to bring valuables, the safety cages seams like not to safety, but we had valuables at the room and all was there, we didn’t have any problem with lost items, the room are amazing, so rustic, nothing fancy; but the beach is so great

Next to Calaluna is a nude beach in case that bothers you, not every one is nude but just letting you know. We had a bless a great price and the best room with view at the sea ❤️ I’ll return here for sure

Nothing like walking out to your balcony and swinging on the hammock to the views and sounds of the ocean :) The staff is very friendly and will help you if you need assistance with transportation or things to do around the area

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing hotel, especially for a simple place to rest your head after a day of adventuring Tulum! We had the standard/jungle room at first and decided to upgrade to one of the ocean view rooms

The hotel is right on the beach. You can rent bikes from near and go to Gran Cenote and Mayan Ruins. There isnt much people so its peaceful. But it lacks proper cooling system in rooms. Just a fan which is not enough

Overall, me and my husband had a very pleasant stay here and would love to stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone that wants to get away and have a relaxing and tranquil trip

The staff at Lola Cafe are so nice. We came here 3-4 times during our 10 day stay in Tulum. They have one of the better coffees we’ve had in Tulum and a great tasting inexpensive breakfast as well

After eating tacos for a week straight, the American Breakfast was delicious two days in a row!! 🍳🥓 They have indoor and outdoor seating and a cute doggo named Jager that walks around

I stayed at this new boutique hotel for 2 nights. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The place is conveniently located between downtown and the beach

Please go check out “Lola Cafe”, located in the front of Oten Hotel. They have the best affordable breakfast items, plus coffee, tea, and juice

Julio was a stand out member of the Roc Lux Hotel, he has connections with all the major restaurants. With great industry knowledge on which restaurant is best on certain nights. Making us reservations without any issues

This was such a laid back and relaxing resort. We had a great time, not a lot of people, and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a perfect stay at Roc Tulum. Even before our trip, they started a WhatsApp group to help us plan our stay. We’re planners ourselves, so we only requested help with the shuttle from the airport

The day beds were free & easy to come & came with food & drink service! We spend both days just lounging on a day bed, enjoying the beach, the chill music, the food, the drinks, and the pull

They let us keep our luggage at the front after check out to enjoy the beach front! Julio was the best & most attentive host. You can just text the WhatsApp group for anything you needed

Super easy & lux pickup!! The stay at the hotel was perfect. The rooms are large & far apart. The free breakfast every morning was filling & healthy. The staff were all very attentive

I scored a sweet deal and it had its private little dip pool on the first floor with 3 glass walls from ceiling to the floor one in each room from the bedroom hallway and kitchen

I didn’t even experience the pool because it was full of leaves and the guest that kept peeking made it really uncomfortable

however there was a problem when I started changing in the bedroom and the room above on the second floor was watching me and kept going to the window and continued doing that all night when they saw, I had the patio lights on

I was really uncomfortable because I like to have the windows open, but I felt like my privacy was invaded because even when I was dressed, they kept walking to the windows to peek

The lighting when the sun starts to go down looks amazing especially at night. And in the daylight, the natural light is refreshing

(I’m not sure if it was guest or if it was the staff staying on the second floor because I know the girls kept going up and down)

This hotel resort is like staying in a botanical garden jungle. Truly amazing the natural environment with the lush foliage, natural walking paths, nightly fire pit, and much more

Jovanna even arranged my private massage on site on short notice, and a doctor to come visit our friend on site who was feeling under the weather a couple days

Our entire stay was so serene and relaxing. The beach setting is truly amazing, with much better variety of seating options than any other resort we saw

Our ground floor beach suite was super clean and cute, with a very private feeling front patio area (despite being right by the pool - actually very convenient)

Staff was exceptionally attentive, and also let us be at the right pace… icing on top of the cake was the sand raked pathways felt like we were always walking on sand that had never been touched, truly except exceptional experience

There are some toys available to use on beach, but not much more in terms of kids friendliness. Free breakfast includes some local fruits, yogurt, granola, some bread and jam and coffee

The taxi is like to rip people off. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was very clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was that they had a physical key. I don't like keys in case I lose them

I don’t know how they can have someone like working in customer service. The night time receptionist is a very nice women very respectful and helpful. The rooms are small and the pool is big enough for 2 people

Also we didn't need cleaning every day and even put the "do not disturb" out, while we were out, but still they were in our room. Despite this, we only got new towels maybe once or twice, when we asked for them

After a long, hot ride from Tulum airport, we were greeted on arrival with fresh towels and chilled water. Other thoughtful touches included coffee in the room and towels, sunscreen and bug repellent at the pools

This place is equal parts relaxing and adventure. The grounds are just breath taking and every detail is thought out. David's tours in particular made the trip unforgettable.

Very special place, which feels unique. Enough cenotes and pools that it's very easy to feel like they're for your own private use, a little family of pigs that caused great delight for our 3 year old, and great food too

I wanted to relax and get lost in nature. This place did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very relaxed and feels like you are immersed in nature. Highly highly recommend doing a tour with David

We enjoyed our tours with David, who is knowledgeable and an interesting conversationalist. We never left the grounds during our stay and so did not need a car

Activities on site- use of kayaks, SUPs and bikes mean you can make it as active or relaxing a stay as you want

The private deck and plunge pool faced the ocean and beach with an unobstructed sunrise view. If we wanted it heated like a hot tub, we’d message the concierge on WhatsApp and they’d turn it on almost instantly

Beach towels and cover ups were in the room and beachside food and drink service made it easy to spend all day by the ocean

We booked the Sea View Ground Floor Suite with Plunge Pool and it was gorgeous

We just had a great stay at Le Zebra! We had been in Holbox on vacation and our flight got canceled due to weather and we couldn’t rebook until 5 days later, so last minute we decided to head to Tulum for a few days

Service was thoughtful and seamless. Check-in was easy, communication was clear, and every night we received pastries and a thermos of tea in different flavors like lemongrass and hibiscus as a surprise treat

I’ve been looking at the beach for a week and a half, so being in what felt like a treehouse was wonderful. They had a super comfortable bed to lay on at the beach and there were plenty available

I had a massage at Dune Spa today and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Gloria was amazing – so intuitive and really knew what she was doing. I felt completely relaxed the whole time and never rushed

Sun loungers, service and cocktails (watermelon margaritas are insane) were great. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay and look forward to coming again

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for a week early February and it was everything we wanted, comfortable, great location and absolutely the best team of staff

We also got a couples massage and our masseuses were great (Mara). A few things that could improve the hotel would be hooks to hand towels and a dresser to store clothes

My only stupid comment is we didn’t do enough outside of the hotel as we never had any reason to leave it!! It has everything … Sunrise view, yoga and we ate breakfast and lunch most days in the beach restaurant EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious

The staff is professional and friendly! They really helped us with everything we desired and told us about a few cool bars and restaurants that are literally a two minute walk from the hotel

Staffs there were so nice, very good location to hang out in downtown Tulum! Good cocktails and breakfast, very recommend!
