We were double-charged for our room after the receptionist insisted our card payment hadn’t gone through, even though our bank later confirmed it had. The staff refused to show payment records, never followed up as promised, and we left having paid twice. The room itself smelled terrible, had damp walls, no proper ventilation, and a broken air conditioner. Amenities were minimal and very poor quality. Although the riad is well-lit and centrally located, the overall experience ruined the start of our holiday. I strongly recommend choosing accommodation outside the medina and avoiding this place altogether.

Despite showing transaction history that their hotel did successfully charge the room to our card, they lied and said it didn't work on their end. They then showed us the terminal that showed we did and they told us that we just aren't reading it correctly. They made us get cash and pay them in person or they wouldn't get our room. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and now we are having to file a dispute with our card company. We watched another group have the same problem, so we aren't the firsts.

First time in Marrakech and first time in a Riad. You approach the Riad down a neglected alleyway, so I was nervous on arrival but once inside it was very peaceful and traditional. Staff were all nice - spoke fluent French with broken English. We stayed in the top room on the terrace and it was fine for a short break - cleaned everyday and towels changed. Water in shower is cold at first but does eventually run hot. Breakfast is served 8-9.30am and is perfectly adequate. The man who works in the evening and serves breakfast in the morning is really lovely. Perfect location for exploring, close to the Medina. Check in is at 2pm and check out at 12pm. We had a later flight so they stored our luggage for us and there is a place to shower and change although it was very hot in there.

Located in the middle of the Marrakech market area. Authentic Morrocan Riad with amazing staff, great food, comfy bed.

Good location, basic comfort.
We mainly booked this Riad due to the location, as it is walking distance to everything there is to see in downtown Marrakesh.
Pictures prior to booking made it look fantastic but upon arrival it was rather different and there were no toiletries except for a clear plastic bottle with some soap in the bath.
Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.
A/C did work without issues.
Breakfast was small and simple, and one morning the young man preparing it served the crepes, coffee and milk cold so it was thoroughly disappointing even if it is a complimentary breakfast.
Had lot of issues paying for the stay as the machine the owner used only accepted up to 3,000 dh (about 300 euros) in a card transaction and so I had to obtain cash in a bank in the street to pay the difference, so be aware of this issue and bring cash on hand to pay for the stay.

We stayed 10 days in August 2022 at Diana Riad....No words about this fantástic place to relax during my vacations.. The hotel is small, but very familiar....all the ambiente is welcomed... The breakfast is completely good.. the rooms are very romantics...like the Riad.... All the days, the service keeps the rooms very clean and confortable . The staff is excelent...you cannot find none so familiar as Yusuf...He treats to the clients like a family...an open person who helps us always we needed... The Riad has a small pool that helps to enjoy the hot days when we return from the street.... The Riad is 5 minuts from the main squared in Marrakech.. and the main monuments to visit. I Will recomend this place 100%... Nice place to stay is the reason of a good stay un the city and the Riad allows us to do It at the BEST way. Enjoy......

Loved our stay the people here were really lovely and helpful. We stayed for just over a week and found that our room was cleaned and towels changed everyday. We had the room on the ground floor and didn't have any problems with noise, as Riad's are only a few rooms there's never going to be lots of people inside which makes it very peaceful. Keep in mind that Riad's are traditional Moroccan hotels- the rooms and the hotel are basic with their amenities but very lovely architecture and perfectly suited for a short stay. If you want modern with no culture, just stay in a hotel. The breakfast was a good variety every morning and is traditional Moroccan cuisine, can't complain when a free breakfast is included. I believe you can also have dinner here but just let them know in advance what you would like. However plenty of places to eat beside the Riad. Location wise this Riad was perfect for us, easily walkable to the souks and some of the Palaces, with lots of restaurant options nearby of all price points. There's also a corner shop nearby for water etc. Also from the main street, taxi's to most tourist destinations were around 50-80 MAD (£4-7). We also found that all the excursions we booked online had this Riad as a pick up option. We would definitely come back and stay! Just such a lovely Riad!

My partner and I had the pleasure to stay in Riad Diana . The Riad is clean and well maintained. Staff were ALWAYS supportive and helped us with our needs with a smile. For the people who want a quite dinner. Consider reserving a table at Riad Diana. The dinner that Iman creates is truly an authentic, family made culinary experience. Do note that you must make a reservation a day before as ALL the ingredients are bought fresh ( day of ) and made for the dinner service. Dinner is 19 euro includes appetizer ( we were fortunate to have two servings of harira soup on both nights ) main , desert, water and Moroccan mint tea. We also had an early morning and Youssef was happy to set up and serve a full breakfast an hour before service. The rooms are clean and in working order.

Many thanks to Iman , Boujemaa, and Youssef for an amazing experience !

They said our room wasn't available and blamed us and Expedia, even though we booked it months in advance. They moved us to their sister hotel with a comparable room, but still not something you want to have to deal with when on vacation.

Pleasant service. Decently priced. Nice roof terrace also serving alcohol if you're looking for that. Food pretty good too.

Restaurant El Bahia is situated next of entrance of Bahia Palace. It obviously was part of this historical palace. Restaurant El Bahia has one of most beautiful enterior of restaurants I have ever seen.
Besides of amazing looking you will find a great and nice staff, and an excellent kitchen. Prices are not low related to other places in Marrakech, however, quality and size of meals and side dishes make Restaurant Bahia a very good choice.

Lavish interiors downstairs, plainer on the roof terrace. Mint tea wasn't very strong. Patisseries were delicious, though. We felt a bit sorry for the tortoises wandering about on the roof.

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but accompanied one to the Earth Cafe for my first vegetarian meal and have to say what a lovely place it is. The food was very good and the service excellent. The building interior is fascinating with a central staircase leading to various rooms on different levels where you can choose to eat your meal. I will come back to the Earth Cafe!

Loved the food. It is a bit on the expensive side. But, great for vegetarians.

Very good vegetarian and vegan foods for reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly.

Great vegetarien food. Expensive, but it was a nice experience. Perfect place for vegans and vegetariens when you get tired of vegtable tangines
25.11.2017 Maria
It's definitely sort of expensive compared to other places in Marrakech. They have a menu option for 100 dhs (meal + dessert + tea) and you can get food and a decent tart from a nearby patisserie for less than 50 dhs. I had the vegan burger and yep, it doesn't come with a bun. I asked for some bread and they said they don't have any, but then brought a bun. Would be better if they just served it together from the start... (Stupid me thought the bun was dessert, cos they cut it up) The apple tart was delicious though! And the 'burger' wasn't bad too, but definitely would prefer a traditional on-the-bun with some tomato-lettuce-onion.

Tourist maroccan food. The place is quite expensive and you can definitely find the same food in a more characteristic and local restaurant. Nice location but expensive food.

Cool restaurant in Marrakesh. We went here as part of a big cruise group tour and were very pleasantly surprised. All the food was plentiful and very well prepared. We really enjoyed it. Doesn't look like much from the outside but its well worth a visit.
