Perfect experience here. The Riad is so stunningly beautiful. A large pool, terrific breakfast, rooms are clean and well decorated, the staff is so kind and friendly. I cannot say enough good things. I love this place!

I cannot say enough good things about Riad Slitine. We arrived at 5:45 am and they were available to let us in. The location is right in the Medina and you really FEEL like you are in Morocco. We paid for an early check-in at 8 am, and even though our room was not available at 5:45 they allowed us to stay in one of their sitting rooms and fed us breakfast. The ambiance is exactly what you would like from a riad in Marrakech. Full of old world charm and beauty. The rooms are not modern, but perfectly comfortable, clean and everything works. Strong wifi too! They are more than what you would expect from a 500 year old building. The pool is a jewel after hot days touring the city. The staff was absolutely fabulous. They accommodated our every need and request and were so kind the entire time. This was a wonderful introduction to Morocco!

This Riad is an oasis in the middle of the bustling medina. The service was excellent and the property was beautiful. The pool was clean and refreshing. I would highly recommend this property.

The location of the hotel is great and the inside of the Riad beautiful. This is where the positives end. It calls itself a spa hotel yet the indoor heated pool with jets they still advertise they have has been ripped out and no longer exists. They have not updated their information. What they call a heated pool is a cold but beautiful fountain where they collect rain water through a filthy tube. Breakfast is nice as other reviewers have commented… the first time. It consists of breads, 1 type of pastry, orange juice and mint tea or coffee. You have the optional tasty but plain omelet. This is it on repeat. We stayed for 5 days and began having breakfast out just for the luxury of a different flavour. Then we have the restaurant/ option for dinner mentioned on the website … except when you would like to have it, on a Monday when many other restaurants are shut. Unfortunately, when you ask in the afternoon well in advance of dinner time that you would like dinner tonight you are informed that this cannot be accommodated. In short it is a spa hotel with no spa pool which offers dinner except it does not to its guests. Would also like to mention that there was 1 towel for a family of 3 that was never changed. I guess you needed a 5 star hotel for that!

Very poor quality, awful surroundings, and terrible accommodations, but decent service, no room service (unless you requested) they don’t refill shampoo and shower gel. Founds few cockroach. Avoid purchasing alcohol from the Riad since they do not have a price list and very expensive. Avoid their massage as well; it's pricey and the breakfast isn't really excellent. The picture is misleading.

Beautiful ambience but the Riad needs some love and attention. They need to give it a good clean and paint. The shower shower head in our bathroom was broken. Wi-Fi was terrible everywhere in the building. Dirty and the owner needs to spend some money on cleaning it and improving Wi-Fi. Scary to walk back to the Riad at night. Not happy with this property I would not stay here until the owner puts some energy into his property.

Wow, wow, wow.... Riad Slitine has to be one of the best places to stay in the Medina of Marrakech. I've stayed here on 2 occasions now and both times have been very impressed. The staff here couldn't be more helpful, they're all so friendly and always happy to help and have a chat with you. The Riad itself is just beautiful and immaculately kept. I've stayed in the Erfoud and Midelt rooms now and both were amazing. Can't recommend this place enough and often tell people to stay here.

Great place to stay. Amazing staff. Especially the night shift. He was more than helpful and met all our requests and beyond!
Highly recommended place. Large rooms, lots to explorer, spa area, roof tops. Local tourists shops just outside. Restaurants are a 5 to 10 minute walk.

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but accompanied one to the Earth Cafe for my first vegetarian meal and have to say what a lovely place it is. The food was very good and the service excellent. The building interior is fascinating with a central staircase leading to various rooms on different levels where you can choose to eat your meal. I will come back to the Earth Cafe!

Loved the food. It is a bit on the expensive side. But, great for vegetarians.
13.12.2017 Liz
Very good vegetarian and vegan foods for reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly.

Great vegetarien food. Expensive, but it was a nice experience. Perfect place for vegans and vegetariens when you get tired of vegtable tangines
25.11.2017 Maria
It's definitely sort of expensive compared to other places in Marrakech. They have a menu option for 100 dhs (meal + dessert + tea) and you can get food and a decent tart from a nearby patisserie for less than 50 dhs. I had the vegan burger and yep, it doesn't come with a bun. I asked for some bread and they said they don't have any, but then brought a bun. Would be better if they just served it together from the start... (Stupid me thought the bun was dessert, cos they cut it up) The apple tart was delicious though! And the 'burger' wasn't bad too, but definitely would prefer a traditional on-the-bun with some tomato-lettuce-onion.

Great food and great service.
We came without reservation! Big mistake. This place is packed and amazingly beautiful. No wonder why such great reviews. Food was good but not amazing.
Service was great.
Even though they were full house, they managed to slip us in. Super!

We went by chance. We returned by choice. One needs to reserve because it is so popular. The staff are respectful and friendly. The ambiance is delightful. The food is delicious and well presented. When we return to Marrakesh we will be sure to return to Pepe Nero
12.11.2017 D
A bit of a disappointment. I normally minus a star for every big thing that displeased me the first let down at Pepe Nero was the table we were plonked on. I asked if the table could be in the court yard, it was but our only view was the gas canisters stored in the stairway.
Second the service was poor we felt rush when ever we asked for something but at the same time ignored for most of the meal, almost as though the waiter didn’t want us to be there.
Third the food was not worth the price. We had lamb for 2 the meat was nice and a good size but it only came with a plate of bland vegetables no rice or couscous was even offered.
Most things I can forgive if service is friendly and welcoming but I found Pepe cold and impersonal. I would avoid in future.

Fenomenal! Amazing food and excellent service. The owner is a really friendly and came to talk to us. Definitely the best restaurant we went to in marrakesh and one of the best I have ever been! I would only suggest to put more security to accompany guests to the restaurant as I didn't feel secure in the neighbourhood. On the way back to the driver ( not possible to arrive infront of restaurant) we got accompanied by a security and fell more comfortable.

Pleasant service. Decently priced. Nice roof terrace also serving alcohol if you're looking for that. Food pretty good too.

Restaurant El Bahia is situated next of entrance of Bahia Palace. It obviously was part of this historical palace. Restaurant El Bahia has one of most beautiful enterior of restaurants I have ever seen.
Besides of amazing looking you will find a great and nice staff, and an excellent kitchen. Prices are not low related to other places in Marrakech, however, quality and size of meals and side dishes make Restaurant Bahia a very good choice.
10.11.2017 Joseph
Lavish interiors downstairs, plainer on the roof terrace. Mint tea wasn't very strong. Patisseries were delicious, though. We felt a bit sorry for the tortoises wandering about on the roof.
