Amsterdam, Atlantisplein 1 🧭 Map
Great location - short walk to the Muiderpoort station and a 5 mins train ride into Amsterdam Centraal! For the price, the accomodation was very reasonable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. House keeping comes by everyday so you always have a clean room and towels. A fridge in the room is also very handy. Staff are there 24/7 and very helpful.
The walls are thin, so if you have...
Somehow very loud at night. I heard nearby rooms walking / flushing toilets. Bathroom’s very dark. No hair dryer (which is ok, you have to borrow from the reception). They also offer luggage storage before/after check outs. Staff were so nice🙏
stayed here for 4 nights and loved that the hotel have that kinda community feel to it. there’s a cafe conveniently located in the ground floor and honestly, i have no complaints
We spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely...
100%, factory concept. Nice design. Easy c. In and c. Out
The hotel has a good location and the room was simple and functional. However, the soundproofing was very poor. Every time someone entered the floor and closed the main door, the noise was clearly heard inside the room and even caused the room door to shake, which was quite disturbing.
Overall, the stay was acceptable for a short visit, mainly due to the location, but better sound insulation would...

The stay was perfect, everything was great.
It wasn't great that my room wasn't ready by check-in time, but seeing how thoroughly they cleaned rooms the next day, I figured a slight delay was understandable. Plus, everyone was really friendly, which was a nice bonus.
Great place to stay between meetings and catching flights. 10/10 with great staff!
Prima service en kamer. Ontbijt was goed.. Personeel was behulpzaam
Nice little hotel conveniently located close to a lot of attractions such as museums and canals for boat tours. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Shopping is literally on the same street.
Staff was friendly and happy to help with all the requests we had.
We’ll be back.
The bed was absolutely terrible - it wasn’t even a proper mattress; more like a cot. We didn’t sleep well at all which is unfortunate given our lengthy travels. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

Schiphol Airport, Vertrekpassage 118 🧭 Map
Well the location is good it you already checked in and had a delayed flight but i dont recommend it a place to stay if you arrived way to early before your flight because it is located inside and you need to go pass the security checks. A small space is ok for me and for solo travelers but the smell from the toilet is not so good for me but overall its ok.
Great option for a nice stay during long transit.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was on the air side of the airport as well as next to a food court area which was convenient. It was smaller than other Yotel Hotels which I have stayed at.
The room was fine - very basic, but as expected. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The area outside the hotel ( in the airport terminal) was alive with rats running around the floor!
In the airport transit area, you can stay overnight with your own toilet and bathroom. It is a good place to stay if you have a long layover.
It is very small, it is recommended to prioritize the Mercure next door

Rotterdam, Schiekade 658 🧭 Map
The lobby smelled like vomit. Dorms are ok, and it’s close to the central station.
Normally, I’m quite forgiving when it comes to the cheapest hostel in town, but this one had some issues with cleanliness and with how the staff handled issues. Although they were clearly trying their best, they didn’t seem able to get the situation under control.
Suggest to visit only if you want to feel the life as a homeless or poor. Facilities and location itself may not be the real problem, but the people living there and around the hostel may be.
The bed was uncomfortable and too hard, and the lighting wasn't bright enough. Hygiene was okay, but there were no coffee amenities. The location is quite central, and the service was decent. Most facilities were available, so it's basically passable.
The hostel is conveniently located near public transport and the bustling city center, just a 10-minute walk from the central station. I booked a bit late, so I could only get a bed in a shared dorm, but everyone was very friendly.
I booked a single room for myself. I arrived early so gave them my luggage to put in their storage room, to my bad luck it was stored on the top shelf, with sharp edges (there is a padding usually, but on this specific shelf they put my bag on it was not there! so the sharp edge pierced through my suitcase and create a nice hole in it! So annoying!!
Also everything in the room reminds you you're in...

we had a room with an excellent walk-in shower for my husband. The room itself was also very roomy to get around the furniture. Excellent mattresses and extra pillows 👍
The location is close to the beach as well as close to the bus stop.
The restaurant serves great breakfast choices and dinner is tops. The super tender duck breast was my favorite.
Also, the girl at the check-in desk helped me find...
Great Experience – Excellent Location and Atmosphere
Overall, the value for money at this hotel is 4.5 out of 5.
The food was delicious, with a few minor suggestions. The burgers could use some improvement – the meat lacked flavor, the portion was a bit small, and the use of just ketchup overpowers the taste. A custom sauce would definitely enhance the experience.
On the other hand, the beef steak...
Rear room on 2nd floor, no air conditioning, outdated interior and noisy parking lot with cleaning up catering from ground floor
The hotel is adequate for a short trip.
Everything you need is there, except for a hairdryer (!), which you should take with you. The furnishings have a few flaws everywhere and of course the room facing the bar is very noisy until late in the evening.
But it's OK for a few days.
The room is big enough, the island is very quiet, the scenery is beautiful, and the old lady at the front desk is also very nice. It's really nice to take a bike ride, with 360-degree views. Come here if you want to get drunk on oxygen.
Very, very tired...
Rooms are big, but very basic and tired. Too tired for the price - I wouldn't have minded for a budget hotel, but this hotel doesnt sell itself as such. Beds far too soft, linen ripped, no airco, very noisy. Great location, near the beach and restaurants.

Clean room, amazing staff, very helpfull and provide rentals and assits with other excursion reservation
Well located hotel.
The staff were very friendly and great service. Rooms were clean and spacious! Loved the location!
Location was probably the best thing about this hotel.
Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept on in all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The mattress was about 10cm deep and kept moving sideways that I nearly fell off the bed in the night! the one pillow was lumpy that was better to sleep without it. Sole reason for only giving 3 stars review.
Also carpet got very wet inside window...

Lovely little hotel in a very quiet but central location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any requests, and overall the service was fantastic. The room was clean, cosy and well furnished, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
An oasis of calm in the bustle of Rotterdam. Cabins were snug, warm and cosy. A really good way to experience the City without the City!
WHEN IN THE NETHERLANDS, WHY NOT STAY ON A BOAT!
Given the choice, I’m glad I did. Also, love the punny name! I had a really good four night stay here. My room, on the lower level, was quiet and comfortable. My porthole was aimed at the canal wall but, when the tide was high, I had a view of the street.

Excellent location! Very central to whatever you might need, including public transit. Rooms were relatively small but had room for whatever you might need. Very friendly staff.
Walking from the hostel to the square
Great location within 1 minute 😀
At night, the surrounding area was quiet and I was able to rest comfortably.
The living room is not large and closes at night, but it doesn't bother me because the plaza is like a living room.
The location of the hotel is great. Everything else is very satisfactory. The only thing is that the air conditioning seems to be a little weak.

Location was great. The athmosphere was really nice. Rooms were spacious. However, the breakfast was lousy.
Such a beautiful boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood. They give you a warm welcome and are very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy, as it should be. There is no tv, they inform you about this matter but we did not mind at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!
Cosy, modern, quiet place. The breakfast was also very nice, quality products. We were able to check in at 00.30, they were very nice and understanding. We loved it!
Malie House was a gem! I think recently renovated; and our room was clean and modern, the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect for getting around. Good location and good price friendly service highly recommend
The best thing in the hotel especially that it’s small and a bit old still looks better then the other small hotels in centrum and most importantly it has LIFT
Good location hotel for single traveller. Not enough room space to open 2 luggage for couple.
Online check in and check out. Fast and smooth check in process when arrival at hotel.
Hotel lobby is manned 24/7.
Only one minus point is the small hair dryer. Weak and not powerful to use during cold weather in Nov period.
We thought we are staying in a castle style hotel but we are not, since the first picture posted is a castle look and it's very misleading photo.
overall the hotel is rated ok. staff is friendly, surrounded with eateries restaurants and cafe, convenient store is few min away.
Happy to receive a package of savory confectionary upon checkout.
Location is superb, just one block behind Damrak.
I love my stay at Hotel Luxer. Its clean, very near Amsterdam Central. The staff are so nice and helpful. and just a walking distance from all attractions in Amsterdam. there are also a lot of affordable restaurants besides the Hotel and in the nearby area
If you’re only in Amsterdam for a couple of nights you can’t get a much better location than this. Absolutely perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with our room. The bed was genuinly the most comfy we’ve had our whole Europe trip. Really nice staff. There is a little foyer and seating area. Free coffee (coffee machine) and nibbles. The room was clean, facilities all worked well. Check-in was at 15:00. I thought that was very late.
Nice balcony view. No vent for bathroom so musty smell and needs updating. Not a fan of carpet in rooms either.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small with nowhere to sit except on bed. TV didn't work during our stay. The area is interesting, close to canals etc and well served by trams. Easy to get to Central Station. We also enjoyed sitting in the foyer area and the hospitality on offer there (drinks, snacks)
Great for 1st timers to Amsterdam. Not sure which was better. The great staff or comfy beds. 5* guys in our books. Thank you.

Pros:
Location is good - close to many food options (restaurants, cafes), and across from a supermarket. There's a tram stop right outside serviced by helpful lines making it easy to get to attractions. Very average hotel, check the room you have booked because they have given me a lower category room that I have booked through *******, luckily I complained and they moved myself to the other I had originally booked. I am an easy traveler, I don't look for 4 or 5 stars hotels but sometimes it's too much!
My room was located at the 4th floor without elevator! I am 64yro but lucly i am Fit and healthy otherwise it would have been impossible to do go up there! Trust me and have a look at my picture. This is ridiculous :(
Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and was everything we expected. Excellent location, good places for food and drinks nearby, as well as good access to trams.
We arrived to check in and start the process then suddenly they forgot to finish us and entertain other customers who just arrived and we felt left out after 2 who just finished checking in,
This is a great option if you want a view of the canals but don’t necessarily need a lot of space. Spent very time in the room but was great. Conveniently located near the tram stop’s and restaurant’s and shopping is a short walk across the street is any direction. Great affordable find!

Although the hotel is a bit old, we really enjoyed our stay. However, the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The cheese was dried out and there was a limited selection of cold cuts/bread toppings.

Stay was clean, spacious and great location. Coffee machine was appreciated ☕️ Reception staff were really helpful and kinda all hours. Power actually went out on our last night so unfortunately our phones and powerbank didn't charge- not anything that could be helped and staff were really apologetic. 🛎 Would return 🛏
The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, with coffee machine and capsules included, but the bathroom was quiet moldy. It didn’t bother us though, cause we stayed just for one night. The hotel as itself is really beautiful, it was nice to be there.
Overall a pleasant stay. Location is perfect if you want to be outside the super busy central Amsterdam, but only a short 20 minute walk away! This is an older, very basic hotel, but in expensive Amsterdam, a reasonable price for what it is. Good location for restaurants, shopping, near museum quarter, with a trolley line right in front.
