I had a great solo stay here while I was exploring the area that was encompassed by Operation Market Garden in 1944. My room was comfortable and quiet even though it fronted on a main road. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The in-room breakfast was huge and varied with many breads, proteins and fresh fruit. The private parking was secure and necessary! Well, the room I booked was completely different from the one we got. They said it was due to a small renovation, but honestly… I’m used to the amenities and hospitality standards in Japan, so overall it felt lacking. The highlight of this hotel is the location. Simpson bay is one of the nicest and most beautiful beaches in the island. Other than that the hotel needs love and care. Maintenance is poor and cleanliness is below mediocre.

Have stayed here a couple times - once we stayed a week in the rooms out by the beach with their own patio, and this time just a quick night in the basement room. Both times were clean and enjoyable. Having the beach and restaurant make it easy to enjoy!

this was a fun little local hotel and restaurant it was nice cause it wasn’t a big corporate, but it was quirky and fun right on the beach. we just needed a place to sleep before flying out so we didn’t have an ocean view, if you want ocean view request one of the bungalows on the beach. fun bar with a DJ great drinks restaurant was good!

The hotel location is good, if you're coming to Roermond by train it's just opposite to the station, if by car, the hotel is actually in the pedestrian area and the parking is behind the rail station (sounds complicated) but the staff will explain it (free parking). The room had no view so it wasn't nice sitting in the room but it's clean, and no fridge.. the staff were nice and breakfast was average...

The place was great but the staff and the rules were not. First one bathroom had no toilet paper and the other less than half a roll. I asked for some and they acted as if I was lying and gave me 1 roll and said when I was out I had to go buy some. That is not a “resort” normality. They also charge you a cleaning fee at check in but require you take out the trash (okay), load the dishwasher (fine)...

The hotel is located quite conveniently. The reception is not on the ground floor, in general it is not a problem. The room was not large, but quite comfortable. There are traces that the hotel is not new and the sink was not perfectly clean. But in general it is normal. The hotel is suitable for 1-3 nights.

The hotel is in the city center and can reach various attractions on foot. The hotel is clean and tidy, and there is a smoking area. Although the breakfast is simple, the quality is very good. I will book it again next time.

Pros: Clean room, serviceable dorm style lodging, good location. Cons: WiFi is slow and limited, half my stay I couldn't sign in. Lighting is very dim, bed can feel cramped. Opened my door at 9:30 AM asking if I wanted my room cleaned, which was a bit invasive

Everything was great day time except the cleaning (they forgot to clean our room and change towels) but the staff working night time is really unrespectful.

We loved this gem, a beautiful and well mainteined 1907 hotel. We had the top 2 rooms in the attic with really cool antique furniture, beautiful bathrooms and cute balcony overlooking the city. Very friendly staff, gave us great reccomendations for the area we were visiting (old Velsen) and we were able to rent bikes directly from hotel. We also enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and admired the setting...

They said that would be the best room: under the roof, spacious, with a wonderful balcony. Only problem: on the day we arrived, the elevator was ready but not yet inspected, and we were not allowed to use it. They would have a room on a lower floor, but they told us it would be much nicer to put in the effort to climb one more stair.

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the centre of Middelburg and at the same time is very quiet. The room we had was on the first floor with a small balcony. Hotel location is very good. Near many landmarks. Room size is OK. Breakfast is satisfactory. The downside is - the building is old, stairs are narrow and there is no elevator. Obviously if you are with children or with a large suitcase, or if you have difficulty climbing stairs, this hotel is not for you.

We loved how centrally located the hotel was. Steps away from great food and shopping options. Very close to public transportation making traveling within the area even easier without a car. However, depending on the room you stay in, you may need to exit the reception area and enter through a separate entrance. Excellent value for money. Simple but good breakfast. Excellent coffee. Room 317 is very clean and spacious. The box spring/mattress on the right bed makes a lot of noise when you move. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and is located in a green location just outside of Maastricht. Unfortunately we were welcomed during check-in by Ferdinand who clearly had a bad day.He was not so friendly, and agitated to guide an intern. Despite all of this we enjoyed our stay. We stayed at this venue because we were attending a wedding there. It’s not very convenient if you don’t have car and transportation to town is limited. We were not big fans of having to go to a special ironing room to iron our clothes. A bit stingy for the price: they do not clean the room or give you coffee pods during your stay.

Considering the price, we expected a bit more. The room was small, with no bath and no refrigerator. For that price, we expected a bit more.

Nice and friendly Very nice hotel with friendly staff located in a lovely neighbourhood. Stairs is steep and short so for those with big luggage, it will be a challenge. Also towels were small but luckily they had a lot. Other than that, very nice place to stay!!

The hotel is ok for one or two nights . Very small room but has everything you need. The location is very close to the central station, therefore very easy to get there from the airport.

First of all, I was very pleased with the friendly family. They even let me store my luggage after check-out, which was helpful for exploring Amsterdam. The location is also right in front of the station! However, the accommodation is old and very small. If you can accept that, you'll be satisfied with the accommodation, which offers excellent meals and air conditioning!

There was a supermarket downstairs, and a pedestrian street behind, which was very convenient. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the coffee machine was free 24 hours a day.

Stayed here to celebrate 7 years of marriage and coincidentally stayed it the room called 'Seventh Heaven'. And that was what it felt like. Beautiful room, spacious and comfortable. Slept like a baby: the bed was great and it was really quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, always a warm welcome when you came back to the hotel. Would like to stay here again if I would return to Den Bosch.

Historic hotel, it seems to me that it was founded by nuns. It was renovated, essentially in the bathrooms, conserving a little of its past. The restaurant room is magnificent, overlooking the hotel garden, where you can also enjoy breakfast. The people are of extraordinary sympathy. It is located in a residential neighborhood and by a very nice lake. I recommend.

The room was so beautiful and unique the bathroom super clean and ultra modern amazing shower head and heated floors as well as a Dyson hair dryer. My husband and I stayed at The Craftsman for 3 nights in the Tanner room and had an exceptional stay. It was amazing to look out the windows at the lights reflecting off the canal at night and we didn’t hear our neighbors even once (sometimes a trade off when staying in buildings with so much history). My go to hotel when i want to stay near Amsterdam Centraal. Close enough, but far enough from the station on Harleemstraat that you feel truly in the mix of the local life

The Bank is a boutique hotel, the rooms are small, but the beds are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The Haarlemmerstraat is a great neighborhood. We enjoyed our two stays here before and after our trip to Italy.

Our flight was cancelled and we had a lovely last minute stay here! Simon was super helpful and made our check-in very smooth, and the hotel is clean, in a super cute area, and overall very lovely. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
