Great location with lots of great restaurants around! Staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was full of variety and even some fizz included. Really nice touches like sweets in the lobby and places to refill water bottle. Gym and sauna area also great and could make a tea in there after along with the rooftop bar to watch the sunset. Staff around cleaning all day - well maintained.
Would stay again and recommend!
Breakfast at Allegro Madeira was phenomenal - we loved the buffet set up and the grill for omelettes and eggs! The nespresso lattes were also a favorite! The value for price received was great!
The rooftop bar for a sunset drink is a must!

I loved this hotel! It had everything you needed and felt very relaxed and unpretentious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the pool area and rooftop bar were both great. I also had a relaxing facial and massage in the spa. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The barman in the rooftop bar was hilarious - trying to be grumpy but making me his “special” cocktails which were delicious 😋. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Funchal!
