Furama City Centre in Singapore

It's an older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but I keep coming back here every time. The cleanliness is still top-notch, and the surrounding amenities are very convenient. It's also quite close to Chinatown.

I saw some reviews online saying the hotel was old, but personally, I found it to be pretty good. It's conveniently located, within walking distance to Merlion Park and other nearby attractions. I booked two rooms, and the front desk thoughtfully gave us connecting rooms. The rooms and beds here are quite spacious by Singapore standards. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Our family had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were traveling with two children, and right from the check-in process, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed. As a thoughtful gesture, they gave our kids two adorable hotel plush toys, which immediately brought big smiles to their faces. It was a small detail, but it made a wonderful first impression and showed how attentive and considerate the staff were toward families.

The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained. Everything in the room was tidy, comfortable, and organized, allowing us to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One feature we really appreciated was the self-service amenities station. Being able to conveniently pick up the toiletries and supplies we needed at any time was both practical and efficient.

The staff throughout our stay were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions we had. Their positive attitude added to the overall comfort of our experience. Most importantly, the location of the hotel is excellent. Chinatown MRT station is just downstairs, making it extremely convenient to travel anywhere in the city. This unbeatable location saved us a lot of time and made getting around with two children much easier. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to other families.

I stayed at Furama City Centre in Singapore and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a great location, very convenient and close to Chinatown, making it easy to explore the city. The view from the hotel is beautiful, especially from the higher floors.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food.

However, the cleanliness of the room needs improvement. I found some hair in the bathtub and on the floor, which was a bit disappointing.

Overall, it is a good hotel with a nice location, great staff, good breakfast, and beautiful views, but I hope the cleanliness will be improved in the future.

Yvette at the front desk was so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. From check-in to answering our questions, she was always patient, professional, and warm. Traveling can be exhausting, especially after a long flight, and her friendly attitude really made us feel at home right away. She took the time to help us and made sure everything went smoothly. Raman at the concierge desk was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to help us with transportation, directions, and planning our days. We were traveling with a lot of luggage and elderly family members, and he was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and attentive to our needs. He made everything feel easy and stress-free, always with a kind smile and genuine care. Raman truly made our stay more comfortable and memorable. Thank you so much for your outstanding service.

Jimmy was incredibly helpful and truly saved the day for us. After Raman had clocked out, Jimmy stepped in seamlessly to assist us. There was a miscommunication with the drivers who were supposed to pick us up for the cruise port, which could have been very stressful, especially with our luggage and tight timing. Jimmy handled the situation immediately and efficiently, arranged another driver right away, and made sure we got to the cruise port on time. He was calm, proactive, and reassuring throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for his quick thinking and excellent service.

The hotel location is excellent with lots of restaurants around, very short walk to Singapore china town,
The swimming pool is very nice

Furama City is a great hotel with a very good location close to shopping, China Town and easy to go to most destinations around the city.
The Hotel staff at Furama went above and beyond for our stay. The staff working in the main foyer where brilliant especially Ivy who was very attentive and happy to see you. Alice in the dinning room was always good and was always busy doing her job. The kitchen staff chef who made omelettes for us each day was doing a great job we enjoyed our food every morning. Reva on reception helped us get into our room asap on a late arrival. I would recommend Furama for people visiting Singapore and I would stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The first time was in March 2025 where the room was dated. This time we are located on the 6th floor where the rooms received new minimalist refreshing makeover.
The hotel location is very centrally located to various tourist destinations and good foods.
Services we received from Francis and Lim were impeccable. They were able to locate all our multiple rooms reservation in a single floor allowing easier meet up between the traveling party.

The hotel haa freat amenities, breakfast buffet and an excellent location.
