The hotel seems to have a lot of foreign guests. Every time I call the front desk, I get transferred, which isn't very convenient for Chinese guests who aren't fluent in English.
It feels like the hotel partners with the airport. Every time I wait for the elevator, I see a lot of airline staff. Checking in also took a very long time; the efficiency was quite slow.
**Environment:** The main pool was under maintenance, leaving only a small children's pool. Those planning to stay soon should take this into consideration.
**Cleanliness:** Overall, due to the old facilities, it felt like things weren't very clean. Plus, being right by the road, when they cleaned the glass tables, they only wiped a small corner, making that spot clean while the rest remained very dusty.
**Service:** It was just average. The staff didn't seem to smile much.
The main thing I was satisfied with was the hotel's location, which made it relatively convenient to get everywhere.

Excellent hotel! The room was spacious and clean, and it was super convenient to walk to the Merlion from there.

Stayed at the Fairmont Singapore for four days during my trip. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; I could walk to most attractions like Merlion Park, Bugis, and the National Gallery within 15 minutes, hardly needing public transport.
I booked a Deluxe King Room, and my window overlooked the Raffles Hotel across the street. While I couldn't see Marina Bay Sands, the view was still great. Overall, the hotel's facilities, soundproofing, and service were excellent 👍🏻. And the toiletries? My absolute favorite Le Labo 31 😊!

Great hotel, and the location is fantastic! There's a mall downstairs, and the breakfast is good too! No complaints.

The room had all the usual essentials like security safe and large balcony, plus things like optional rain shower in the bathroom and unlimited cooled water from an elegant dispenser also housing a well packed drinks bar/fridge and coffee machine. The big king size bed was positioned central to the room so one can walk all the way around it which made a nice change to the usual 99% of hotel rooms with headboard against a wall. (The safe was extra large and easily accessible from a reinforced pull out drawer between the two glazed wardrobe doors!)
We payed around £350 per night for our room but was booked over 6 months in advance. Shorter booking times found the price up to over £600 a night, so not cheap! But would highly recommend this hotel at least once for the more price conscience visitor because of its impeccable luxury and stunning views of Singapore Bay!

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for traveling with seniors and children. There's a food court and a mall right downstairs from the hotel, so it's easy to get food and do some shopping.

**Cleanliness:** Every day, our scattered items were neatly arranged. The room itself isn't brand new, but the cleanliness was superb.
**Facilities:** There are two restaurants for breakfast, both good, but I'd especially recommend the Italian restaurant on the ground floor.
**Service:** The front desk made check-in and check-out simple and straightforward, with smiling service. They practically met all our requests, and housekeeping was also great. They even noticed we had no place to dry clothes and brought us a drying rack.
All the nearby attractions are very close by, with everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment readily available. Our 3-night stay was simply perfect!

The room offers an expansive view of the Merlion Park right across. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and transportation is very convenient. I especially loved the Le Labo toiletries – perfect for a family trip.

The location is indeed excellent, and they even added an extra duvet to my room as I requested via email, which I was quite happy about.

Besides its convenient location, the hotel has nothing going for it. The rooms are old, and the bathroom outlets were broken. For over 4000 a night, we were given a connecting room with the bed facing the neighboring bathroom. Make sure to ask about this when checking in. The soundproofing is terrible; we could clearly hear people talking in the next room late at night. Also, Ctrip guests don't get the complimentary lion plushie.

Restaurant with good view and service but the steak is just pathetic. Not worth the price at all.

Food was ok but service was a let down. Went on a week day for a special dinner with a guest visiting from abroad. Caucasian male staff was too keen on clearing our table even b4 we had finished our meal and sides.Restaurant was not even half full. Absurb service. I dun mind the price or the food quality but sorely dissappointed with service. I'll never patronize this place nor recommend it to any other.

I ordered my steak at 8.17pm
My lobster bisque came at 8.45pm
The ravioli came at 9.15pm. (They took an hour to cook 9 pieces.)
Now it's 9.30pm and my steak has yet to come.
Update: 9.37pm and my steak has arrived! 8/10 quality sirloin beef steak.
Longest wait ever. Saving grace was one of our waiters who was polite, friendly and apologised. Made the wait bearable. Sadly, the other was nonchalant and did not even comment about the long wait.
Kudos to the waiter who saved the day.

Maybe I'm grumpy and I should be. Been to many steak houses in many cities. This has got to be the worse ever. For the price, quality, service go elsewhere. Morton's, Cut, anywhere.
Saw the chef take a steak out of the frig, unwrap the plastic wrap, smell it then toss it into the garbage. I should have left right there.

Won't go too wrong if you seek to taste the aunthetic chinese restaurant in town. Served Cantonese style cuisine and located at Chijmes - old convent monestary. Try their drinker prawn, roasted pork, Peking duck and soup. They have private room and reasonable choices of wine too. Easy parking at B2 and nice ambience for dinner.

The food is nice; up-scale Chinese restaurant quality. The pork belly was really well done. The reason for the three stars is the service quality. Now I get that Mandarin is not my forte and I'm sorry if I can't read nor speak Mandarin at your level. But when the waitress starts avoiding orders altogether because we can't speak Mandarin in a Chinese restaurant; we have a problem. The communication was so abysmal I actually learned a new word for Lobster.. = Lorrister. Now THAT was quality entertainment.. it was a really nice lorrister tho ? I prolly should've double checked with that waitress if she meant lorrister with double r or single ?
