Appreciate the staff here. Double checked booking made by booking.com and refunded the extra charge as I had registered 3 people but it had not come through so at the front counter I was charged more than I was quoted. They double checked it on their own volition at the front desk and once they found the issue provided they flagged me over and provided a refund. Appreciate the honesty.

This is the 5th time I have stayed here. It is a wonderful hotel as long as you do not expect the Ritz. The staff and management are superb, friendly and obliging. Nothing is a bother to them. The only downside is the vacant buildings beside it but not a lot that the Sur can do about that.

Lovely pool to rear.plenty of sun,all walking areas false grassed.Rooms are perfect.Clean,modern,nice shower,hairdryer,a.c.
Lift.Great bar,open to street in hot weather.Large tvs for sporting events,good drink prices,live singer,from country,to pop to Elvis,karaoke, quiz.
Great location,in main street, flat.
Highly recommended.

We've just returned from a 3 day short stay..
Firstly we stayed on a front facing room and my mother stayed in a rear room, so I can tell you the pros and cons of both. Our front facing room was a lovely twin room. Bathroom was clean, only thing I could mention is that the shower head could do with replacing but it's a very minor thing.
The room itself had lots of drawers and clothes space. Very clean and tidy. Our beds were very comfy. A balcony that had a slight sea view with large balcony doors. Very close to the beach, next to several supermarkets and a tabacs. The large bar that's underneath is part of the hotel and an absolute must! Staff were friendly and although not particularly helpful, they appeared to be.
Breakfast was both English and continental and ok.
Now for the downsides. Us as a front facing room and facing east got beautiful morning sun.. however you have to "rent" the ceiling fan remote as there is no air con and that's where the fun starts.. it was a very hot room but since we were out most of the day and evening it didn't really effect us. We opened both the balcony and the room door for a breeze. I complained on all three days that the ceiling fan was broken. Only as we checked out was I told that they had "tried to offer me a standard fan but you were never in the room". A full refund on my remote was given. My mother's room on the back side of the hotel and west facing was a different matter, she had sun in the evening and although her fan worked it absolutely made her room like an oven. The balcony was so hot it burnt your feet and made the plastic chair legs very bendy.. again us at the front had the pleasure of hearing the bar downstairs until midnight. With the heat we needed the balcony doors open so it really wasn't an option to sleep before then. The bar downstairs is lovely we both ate and drank there.. it's cool, ok priced with generous measures in a really busy part of Cala Bona. I can HIGHLY recommend a restaurant a minutes walk away on the beach front called Melis. All in all it was beautiful. I would stay there again but maybe not in summer.

Friendly, family-owned one star hotel that far surpasses what one would expect from such a low star rating. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable with recently modernised bathrooms which have large, walk-in shower cubicles. Rooms are serviced 6 times weekly. Live entertainment 7 nights per week. There is a basic gym, a library, swimming pool, tennis court and a lively sports bar. You can choose to pay for buffet-style breakfast or dinner if you wish. Rooms have safes, fans and TVs which can be hired on a daily or weekly basis.
