Nice hotel in good location. Although it is unacceptable that we are not able to bring water or soft drink for kids to the pool. Neither to dinner. You are forced to buy with hotel but there is NOTHING to choose from. Cola, Fanta, sprite in the glass. That is it. As an adult, minor problem. But kids? Impossible. staff is delivering information in a rude way too. Snacks are also forbidden. Kids going hungry between breakfast and lunch. How to manage that? Many guests were complaining about the same. I can not recommend that hotel for families with kids…

This hotel is rated 4 star but definitely more 3 star at best. I'll try to be fair and list the positive aspects: * near the beach * supermarket next door * good sun loungers * fridge * comfy bed * clean * adequate facilities Negatives: * website states fully refurbished - parts are, parts are clearly very dated like old carpets/sofas in the hallway, very old decor like statues, ornaments and paintings everywhere. Free standing furniture in the rooms, old tiles, no internet tv and no english speaking channels. * pool area is small and 50% of people smoking by the pool. There were no signs forbidding this and the waiters served those smoking so it seemed accepted. I've never known this in this day and age. Non-smokers shouldn't book here. *watched as a waiter told a uk child he couldn't eat his snack on his lounger and must take it to his room. They had clearly just arrived and no food available between 1500-1845 in the hotel. However, I watched german guests being served by the same staff as they drank cans of beer, ate their own snacks and smoked on the loungers... *hotel information/rules in rooms all in german, no alternatives. Excludes everyone else. *bar doesn't except card, cash or room tab only *tourist tax must be paid in cash *€5 per pool towel + €10 deposit *pool closes at 1800 as the tables are used for dinner service *no children's menu/smaller portions for lunch but mostly families I booked this hotel after reading it was predominantly german guests as it doesn't matter to me where people are from and you expect that going abroad. However the hotel info not given in english, no english tv channels and different rules for guests based on nationality is what upsets me. I wouldn't book this hotel again for these reasons.
