Club del Sol Resort & SPA Aparthotel in Port de Pollenca

Good resort, great for families. Very clean saltwater swimming pools (cold though). Good food if you like buffets. Reception staff very efficient and friendly. We had a water leak in one of the rooms after some heavy rain but this was fixed promptly.

Recommend bike hire to get around and as others have noted its not in the main part of the beach so you have a 30 min walk to restaurants, shops etc. On site shop is pretty good. We went out of season so it was fairly quiet, I imagine it's very busy in school holidays but it is very big with lots of pools and loungers to go round.

The staff are great and doing the best they can but it feels like the rooms are just past their sale by date. First our door wouldn’t lock, they fixed that but then we were locked in in the morning. Luckily there is a phone in the room. The handyman here is great and sorts the problems but the poor guy must be run off his feet. The front desk is super helpful and will get you what you need. The crazy thing is I love the location. The views are right out of Jurassic Park! The food is very good. The breakfast buffet excellent and equally our first dinner tonight. It was a bit of a hit and miss but I’ve many more nights. (I wanted to try one bite of everything and then decide. Greed aside I’m simplifying it tomorrow.)
I’ll come back when it’s less busy. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. It makes the small issues seem meaningless.
Transportation by bus or taxi easy from the hotel. Recommend using a debit card. Running/walking seems very popular along the bike path along the beach which is great as long as there aren’t too many cars, bikes and people. It would be great if it was bikeway and a walkway. Safety first. The views here are off the charts. I’m coming back with a car hire to explore more. I’m enjoying this as much as Kauai!!

I couldn't fault this hotel. The food is a..maze.. ING.. And such a varied choice for a buffet. Even had steak cooked to order one night. Sushi another. Try something new or there is still old favourites too. Staff are really helpful, entertainment are definately entertaining and rooms are modern and functional. On down side is Jorge is a bit (lot) grumpy if you have him serve you though, kinda takes the wind out of ya sails.. Would stop here again.

Nice and relaxed. Brilliant and relatively cheap supermarket by one of the pools (baking pastries, bread and mini pizzas onsite). Nice guests and staff. Poolside snack bar and restaurant is good and again reasonably priced.

Great family hotel about a 20 minute walk to Puerta Pollensa. The staff are friendly, helpful and patient and the entertainment team work really hard and are great with the kids. There is a very wide choice of tasty food in the buffet restaurant too which serves a mix of Spanish and British dishes. Rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The pool is lovely and there were plenty of loungers available. My only gripe is that the gym could be better equipped and they could do with a second table tennis table as there isn't a huge amount to do. Apart from those very minor issues, this is a really nice family hotel.

Stayed for a few days.... Brilliant hotel...3nice pools.... Clean and modern room with a pool view , staff were very friendly and helpful... Really Good food at the poolside and restaurant... Entertainment staff were so enthusiastic... Particularly Connor! Would highly recommend this hotel

Recently refurbished. Beds comfortable. Not much storage in the rooms. We had the buffet breakfast which was very reasonably priced. Nice pool. Evening entertainment and kids' club every day. All staff very friendly and helpful. Well placed for a walk into Puerto Pollenca or a bus ride into Alcudia. We went for the birdwatching which was brilliant. Cycle paths all round Puerto Pollenca, hundreds of cyclists - nice to see.
