A fantastic 10 days spent in this hotel with family. Food was very good with lots of choices. Food theme nights were excellent; we particularly enjoyed the Indian and Mexican themed nights. All staff were outstanding and couldn’t be more helpful, thank you. Animation team, in particular Walfryd and Raul worked extremely hard to ensure everyone had a great time. Rooms were spotlessly clean too and were cleaned every day to a high standard. Overall a great hotel and would highly recommend to families with children of all ages. Thank you!

We have just finished a week's all inclusive stay at the hotel and we could not have been more impressed. Firstly, the staff around the whole hotel were warm, friendly and happy to help with any request regardless of their role. The food was brilliant for an all inclusive stay. There was a real variety at all meal times and food was fresh and there was always at least one option which was cooked to order. Finally, and the biggest positive was the animation team! All four members were superb with our 4 year olds and they kept them entertained throughout the week! We had a superb stay and would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had an unforgettable experience at Mar Hotel Playa de Muro. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. All the staff were fantastic and made a real difference in our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. While the hotel isn’t directly beachfront, it’s just a very short walk to the stunning Playa de Muro — crystal-clear water and soft sand, perfect for relaxing or enjoying water sports. The food selection wasn’t huge, but it was more than enough for us — fresh, tasty, and well-prepared with good quality ingredients. And the cocktails? Absolutely excellent — well-made, refreshing, and a real treat by the pool or in the evening. The pool areas were fantastic — great for both kids and adults. Highly recommend this hotel for couples, families, or anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Mallorca. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This was our 2nd time at this hotel, Some of the staff from 2 years ago where still there as was great to see. All staff are great and my room cleaner Carmen always come to see me in the morning Everyone works so hard The food is some of the best i have had on a all inclusive always fresh and tasty We where in room 021 which is a swim up room We pick this hotel due to close to the S'Albufera nature reserve which is only a 5/10 minute walk to the entrance. Thank you to everyone that made my stay special again

Just returned from a six night stay here with my sister. We chose this accommodation by reading the reviews so only fair we write our review. I have a nut allergy so always wary about all inclusive hotels. I mentioned this in our booking and on arrival to the hotel , was welcomed by the manager who showed me in the restaurant, the labels on foods and was so welcoming to me if I needed to ask any questions. I did ask the chefs a few times about food ingredients and they were really helpful. Every time I saw the manager, he would ask how I was and if everything with the food was OK and if the chefs were helping me if I needed it. Of course the answer was yes to everything! The food is outstanding and so fresh, some of the best food I've ever eaten. Everyday they have a different fish and meat to try on the grill. I had fish everyday and it was superb. Even simple food like vegetables were so tasty. Every morning we had fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and had to have scrambled eggs as these are the best scrambled eggs ever tasted. There are themed nights throughout the week but still other foods available if people prefer not to try the themed night food, e.g. Asian, Indian, Mallorcan, Mexican etc. My sister said this is the best food she has ever had from an all inclusive hotel. The attention to detail on how the food is set out just shows how much the staff want to provide the best service. All the staff are happy, friendly, cheerful people who go out there way to help you with anything you need. The hotel is the cleanest I've stayed in, the rooms are so clean and you can tell there is so much care for visitors to the hotel. The beach is a short walk across the road, wow, one of the prettiest beaches ever. A good resemblance to the Caribbean sea, It is beautiful and very clean. There are shops and car hire just round the corner so everything you need is on the doorstep. We hired a car for 1 day and had a drive round the island which was great fun. This is the first time we have been to Majorca and certainly will not be the last. My sister and I are already talking about when to go back! We will definitely stay again at this hotel and 100% recommend it to anyone

Just spent the last 7 days here in Adults swim up room. Rooms On the small side but not really an issue when you are outside all the time. The swim up pool is fab yes it’s a little cold for a few seconds but very refreshing. I swam lengths or sometimes just walked the length of the pool. The depth doesn’t matter. Rooms really clean and cleaned spotlessly every day. My only gripe is the sun leaves your loungers around 3 and then you have to angle yourself on Bali bed until it’s gone by 5. We would then move to the main pool and found sunny loungers every day. The main pool is gorgeous as you walk in and it’s really deep. Bars Choice of regular or rose cava which was lovely. Rose wine also good. Beer is estrella damm on tap. Cocktails are freshly made and really good but more so in the evening in proper glasses. Bar snacks are crisps nuts fruit sweets and some sandwiches from the fridge plus ice cream Food I have been to many all inc in Majorca and the food here is really good. We did the Spanish Asian and Mexican night and really enjoyed. The food is varied every day and I had some of my favourite tapas over the week. I’m dairy intolerant and ate really well. They also had a good choice of vegan options which were not just pasta. Veggie paella and bean chilli, cous cous, chickpea stew. If you are vegetarian you will be spoilt. I especially loved the fish dishes. Staff The nicest friendliest staff who go above and beyond, remembering your drink order and table service at meal times is so rare these days at buffets. Location Minutes from the beach and right beside restaurants and shops. This area is quiet but you can easily take the bus or a short taxi ride to Alcudia for more nightlife. We can’t wait to return

Nice clean hotel but out of the way of hustle and bustle. The rooms are quite big with double sinks and fridge / microwave. The swim up rooms are great with private beds and is sun trap. The pool is freezing though ! Staff lucky apart from one guy behind the bar that refused to serve me drinks without alcohol .. said I couldn’t have a mojito unless I had room I explained I don’t drink alcohol to which I ended up arguing with the manager to explain they can’t force alcohol on people and after that I was allowed mojito with no alcohol. Shouldn’t have been an issue in my eyes as was saving them money not having the rum! Food was ok not much option and every night was pork. Got a bit repetitive but always pizza / pasta / chips. Again deserts not much option but always had ice cream. The walk to the beach is around 10 mins over the room. The beach is beautiful and sea is crystal clear. You do get mithered with lucky lucky men and for massages down there. There is a market in old town Alcudia which is a big market and good prices also the harbour is a lovely place to visit. We walked it and was 1 and half hours or €15 in a taxi. Cocktails are inclusive in the all inclusive which is good as usually there not. Good selection of drinks and the pop is fizzy! Most all inclusive it’s flat and warm but the fizzy pop Coca Cola ect was cold and fizzy. Towels are €10 to hire. Entertainment wasn’t for us. Kids club 8.30 for half hour then 1 act a night. The bingo was horrendous couldn’t understand the entertainer doing it. You got a free ticket and had to use cocktail sticks to punch out your numbers. The magician was good but entertainment finished by 10.30pm latest. No music around the pools was very quiet. Also a lot of mixed nationalities at this hotel compared to others we have stayed at. Transfer from airport is around 40 mins not 2 hours like it states on the paperwork. We had a night flight so had to be out of the room at 12 as no option to stay in it but after asking we were given a room to get showered and changed before the flight which is good. You can not smoke even vape around the pools the hotel is non smoking unless you have a swim up room ash trays are provided even though we didn’t smoke my partner uses a ecig and had to go outside of the hotel main entrance to use it. Good for me bad for him .

We stayed in one of the adult only swim up rooms and it was beautiful! We had the most amazing holiday and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were nice and big and had a double sink and seperate shower cubicle and toilet cubicle which was good. The cleanliness was good. All the staff were lovely and couldn’t help enough! There were plenty of bars (2 snack/ pool bars), and one lobby bar which had a great variety of drinks and cocktails, and also snacks like sandwiches, ice creams, cookies, chips, burgers etc. the food at the restaurant was lovely, it was a different themed night each night such as Italian, Indian, Asian, Spanish (but they always had pizza, chips, bread and pasta which was great in case you didn’t like some of the food) but there was always a good selection and we ate very well! The swim up pool was beautiful and we had a bed opposite which was nice, however the only thing was the pool was freezing - far too cold to swim in! We only went in once sadly because it was just not enjoyable. But Highly recommend the hotel.

We paid for 2 swim-up suites for ourselves and our adult daughters. They were great with a small patio area, table, chairs and sun-beds. The pool was outside the patio door and a cabana opposite. I recommend doing this, (if you are an adult only party) as it made our holiday. We loved the food. It was themed most evenings and we always found something delicious on the buffet. We especially enjoyed the Majorcan evening. Everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly, chatty, interested in our day and whether we had everything we needed etc. We thought that the staff went above and beyond, even though they were so busy all the time. We recommend hiring some bikes and cycling around the perimeter of the nature reserve next door. We saw and heard some amazing wildlife. It is flat and took 3 hours at a leisurely pace. We loved this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

What a lovely hotel with lovely staff. Originally we were disappointed as no air-conditioning in the rooms as they see it as winter and to cold. I spoke to the reception and the lovely hotel experience staff managed to get us a portable air con unit which was fine. The rooms are a great size we had a suite with a double room and double sofa bed. It had shower with separate toilet and also double sink in one room. And the main room a toilet. The WiFi worked well in the room and we had a huge balcony. The pool was lovely size and there was a separate kids pool area so meant the pool we used was quite. AI was worth every penny! All staff were kind and polite, crisps, ice lollies and cookies all day. They also make nugget/burgers and chips in the kids area. The actual meals had no kids area, which was a bit of a disappointment however, my boy has nut and dairy allergy and they tried so hard to accommodate him. The lady in the restaurant who's name I wish I could remember was awesome. I think Patricia. Finally Wilber the entertainment manager and his team were first class!!!!! All in all great holiday with fab staff willing to go the extra mile to help everyone, which made our holiday.
