Great location, overlooking marina, in the heart of Cala Bona. Rooms are very comfortable, whatever level you choose - we have stayed in most levels. Outside pool and facilities are good but the evening bar and the restaurant are/were our stand out facilities. Staff, food and service were excellent. Pedro in charge of the restaurant was a star. very good at managing the staff as well as making every guest feeling special.

We visited in April with friends, we had 3 swim up rooms. Rooms were nice and clean. Pools were all clean. We had all inclusive, food was good, more or less same stuff every night but I didn't mind as it was nice and hot. Staff were all lovely.

Lovely holiday , hotel was spotless, rooms were large and well equipped and staff very helpful . We found the food at breakfast and lunch varied and fresh,we ate out most evenings out of choice. Great location easy to get around the island by bus or car . Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 10 nights all inclusive in a junior swim-up room and honestly loved every minute. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the whole hotel smelt amazing. The Balinese beds were such a nice touch and included in our package too – perfect for relaxing by the pool. The food was brilliant with so much choice, and we never had any issues finding something to eat or drink. They even did themed nights like Mexican, Indian, Chinese and Mallorcan which kept things interesting. The drinks were great too with loads of options, and the cocktails were nice and strong – not watered down at all! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was spot on – right in the centre with plenty of local shops and restaurants around, plus the beach was only about a 5-minute walk away. Only small downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) was the mosquitos in the evening – I got about 10 bites in 10 minutes, so definitely pack some insect repellent! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would 100% come back again. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel. Very clean, spacious, comfy beds, excellent food, wonderful helpful staff. Few minutes walk to the beach, not directly on road so nice and quiet. Had a brilliant time, would definitely go back.

An excellent hotel with lots and lots of positives. The hotel was just the right size, big enough to offer everything an all inclusive should, but small enough to not be overrun. The staff are absolutely superb, they make every effort to make your stay as good as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go out their way to be friendly and engaging. This is the hotels best asset and better than any other package holiday hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were a party of 10 and the restaurant staff always went out of their way to seat us together. The food in the restaurant is plentiful at all sittings with something for everyone. Themed nights included, Asian, Indian, Mexican and Spanish alongside normal offerings on those nights. The mexican evening was my favourite. The all inclusive offer is good. There’s not cooked food available at all times, but other than the designated sitting times there are sandwiches, crisps and fruit available alongside a comprehensive drinks offer. Alcoholic drinks are served at your table by the waiting staff which generally works well. Occasionally you have to be proactive and ask for a top up, but it’s never a problem for the staff. We stayed in a swim up room which was excellent. The pool was really quiet and relaxing whenever you needed to cool off from the heat. Others in our party didn’t have swim up rooms and they were very happy with theirs too. The evening entertainment wasn’t our thing. It’s in a large room near the children’s pool. Being slightly away from the main hotel was good because it meant we could relax in the main hotel without having to listen to it. Location is excellent. Just over an hours transfer and 5 minutes from the beach. The beach is beautiful with shallow crystal clear sea. The location is good because the beach doesn’t get too busy. We walked further towards the direction of Alcudia and the beach was rammed further up. We would definitely return or visit any other Mar Hotels. My only even better if would be improvements in the air conditioning in the restaurant and reception.

This was our 2nd time at this hotel, Some of the staff from 2 years ago where still there as was great to see. All staff are great and my room cleaner Carmen always come to see me in the morning Everyone works so hard The food is some of the best i have had on a all inclusive always fresh and tasty We where in room 021 which is a swim up room We pick this hotel due to close to the S'Albufera nature reserve which is only a 5/10 minute walk to the entrance. Just returned from a six night stay here with my sister. We chose this accommodation by reading the reviews so only fair we write our review. I have a nut allergy so always wary about all inclusive hotels. I mentioned this in our booking and on arrival to the hotel , was welcomed by the manager who showed me in the restaurant, the labels on foods and was so welcoming to me if I needed to ask any questions. I did ask the chefs a few times about food ingredients and they were really helpful. Every time I saw the manager, he would ask how I was and if everything with the food was OK and if the chefs were helping me if I needed it. Of course the answer was yes to everything! The food is outstanding and so fresh, some of the best food I've ever eaten. Everyday they have a different fish and meat to try on the grill. I had fish everyday and it was superb. Even simple food like vegetables were so tasty. Every morning we had fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and had to have scrambled eggs as these are the best scrambled eggs ever tasted. There are themed nights throughout the week but still other foods available if people prefer not to try the themed night food, e.g. Asian, Indian, Mallorcan, Mexican etc. My sister said this is the best food she has ever had from an all inclusive hotel. The attention to detail on how the food is set out just shows how much the staff want to provide the best service. All the staff are happy, friendly, cheerful people who go out there way to help you with anything you need. The hotel is the cleanest I've stayed in, the rooms are so clean and you can tell there is so much care for visitors to the hotel. The beach is a short walk across the road, wow, one of the prettiest beaches ever. A good resemblance to the Caribbean sea, It is beautiful and very clean. There are shops and car hire just round the corner so everything you need is on the doorstep. We hired a car for 1 day and had a drive round the island which was great fun. This is the first time we have been to Majorca and certainly will not be the last. My sister and I are already talking about when to go back! We will definitely stay again at this hotel and 100% recommend it to anyone

Just spent the last 7 days here in Adults swim up room. Rooms On the small side but not really an issue when you are outside all the time. The swim up pool is fab yes it’s a little cold for a few seconds but very refreshing. I swam lengths or sometimes just walked the length of the pool. The depth doesn’t matter. Rooms really clean and cleaned spotlessly every day. My only gripe is the sun leaves your loungers around 3 and then you have to angle yourself on Bali bed until it’s gone by 5. We would then move to the main pool and found sunny loungers every day. The main pool is gorgeous as you walk in and it’s really deep. Bars Choice of regular or rose cava which was lovely. Rose wine also good. Beer is estrella damm on tap. Cocktails are freshly made and really good but more so in the evening in proper glasses. Bar snacks are crisps nuts fruit sweets and some sandwiches from the fridge plus ice cream Food I have been to many all inc in Majorca and the food here is really good. We did the Spanish Asian and Mexican night and really enjoyed. The food is varied every day and I had some of my favourite tapas over the week. I’m dairy intolerant and ate really well. They also had a good choice of vegan options which were not just pasta. Veggie paella and bean chilli, cous cous, chickpea stew. If you are vegetarian you will be spoilt. I especially loved the fish dishes. Staff The nicest friendliest staff who go above and beyond, remembering your drink order and table service at meal times is so rare these days at buffets. Location Minutes from the beach and right beside restaurants and shops. This area is quiet but you can easily take the bus or a short taxi ride to Alcudia for more nightlife. We can’t wait to return
