Puerto Azul Suite Hotel in Port de Pollenca

We had another great stay at Puerto Azul. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff really do go out of their way to make your stay special. Thanks to Sven and Karen for their hard work in making the holiday special for our two children who simply won't go on holiday anywhere else. We look forward to coming back in May.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. Staff always happy to help, kind and diligent. Room was really nice, very comfortable beds and a decent sized balcony. One family member is Coeliac and therefore requires a gluten free menu/options. Needn’t have worried as they do have a reasonable and labelled gluten free area. Additionally, the lead/head of the restaurant personnel are more than happy to escort you round the self service area and advise what other gluten free options are available. Breakfasts were fine, cereals and gluten free bread available. Maybe could do more in the sliced bread department and maybe have a designated gluten free toaster? Chefs made fresh omelettes to order and whilstI knew it was gluten free, when I enquired, via the chef, if the ham and cheese were also gluten free, he couldn’t say/confirm so that was disappointing.Aside from that, they do try to accommodate and I am thankful for that and would definitely return.

Last full day of a 10 night's half board. Been very lucky with the lovely weather, (a week before, they had storm's) one of the best hotel's we have stayed in. We had a nice clean apartment, ( although a couple of guests wasn't too happy with their's) lovely staff throughout the hotel. Great food, always good choices, and very clean. Hope to come back again, puerto pollensa is a lovely resort.

First time in puerto pollensa such a lovely place , hotel was lovely apart from the garden terrace , was very dissapointed as we always book our hotel and make sure we have the best balcony or terrace so we can just chill and watch the world go by ,but we never got to sit out once as it wasnt the terrrace we thought it would be it had 2 big grids and no view and never got the sun their at all… We did try to change rooms but their was no availability… the rooms were quite dated not enough storage for evertything This hasnt put me of going back but i would make sure i got a room with a pool view, the food was amazing and all the entertainment team were lovely , the cleaners never stopped either ..

Hotel is in a great position very close to sea front . Food was amazing couldn’t fault anything so much choice all staff in restaurant were lovely. Plenty of varied entertainment and the entertainments team were great . My only negative was our room we had a garden terrace which had two large grids in we didn’t sit out in it once no sun either my advice would be to book a pool view . The room also had very little room to put your clothes. We did ask to be moved but hotel was fully booked

We have just stayed here for the 11th time. This is a good package holiday hotel. It compares well to other resort hotels with 4 star ratings that I have stayed at in Spain. Don’t expect city centre 4 star luxury. It is in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the seafront and main square and less than 10 from the bus station if you haven’t a car and want to go out. The rooms are a good size as you have a bedroom and a room with a sofa bed. The beds are comfortable. It would be nice to have some drawer space at the bottom of the wardrobe. You get a kettle, tea and coffee and a full size fridge in the room. Large tv in the living room, small tv in the bedroom. Walk in shower in the bathroom. All kept spotlessly clean. The food is fine, it’s not haut cuisine but plenty of choice in the buffet and just about everything you could want at breakfast. I do wish the orange juice was better. Malena, the head waiter, is very helpful. There’s a microwave if the food isn’t hot enough for you. It is extremely good value for money in the shoulder seasons.we paid €150 per night for half board for two of us. You would be very hard pressed to find anything like than value in the UK. We booked direct (email don’t use the website booking thing, it never works). Pool area is large and clean. It caters very well for cyclists and in April most clientele are cyclists, so it can be very quiet during the day. There is a large bicycle garage. There is a washing machine, dryer and iron for use by guests. It is very family oriented so if you are a couple I wouldn’t stay here in July/August. So, if you want an hotel that isn’t too expensive, is relatively close to everything and represents value for money this is for you. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, want luxury fixtures and fittings and a top class wine list then it is not for you.

Left two days ago and missing this happy, friendly place, with music in the air and time to relax. The entertainments team is special. Sven, Karin, Mariana and Barbara run daily fun activities, so join-in the boules, shooting, and afternoon quiz, make holiday friends and win a badge. Evening shows add to the fun, and include singers, magic and flamenco. See you again in 2026.

First time at this hotel and won’t be the last. Can’t think of one negative thing to say about the hotel. Staff are so nice and friendly with special mention to Sue on reception who was a great help to us after having our wallet stolen from Pollensa market. Helped us fill in forms for the police and basically got us through what was a very stressful time. Thankyou Sue. Also special mention to the restaurant manager, Malena . Lovely caring lady. Catered for all ages especially pre school children around the pool area . Great location , walking distance to the beach/ harbour. Despite our trauma with pickpockets, we will return.

The hotel is beautiful within scenic grounds and close to the sea front and restaurants. It’s clean and well equipped for a half board hotel. The food was exceptional with a fantastic variety and always very tasty. However, the downside is that the evening meal is served between 7pm and 9pm. With a 14 month old baby this is too late so unfortunately this led to us either eating separately or not at the hotel at all.. we spent more money eating out because of this. On one morning the hotel ran out of highchairs which again, was disappointing. Overall though, it’s a great place.

We’ve just returned from our third year staying at the Puerto Azul with our little girl (now 4) and this time we brought granny with us too. Our 10-day stay was absolutely faultless and we are already planning to return next year for a fourth trip. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with exceptional standards of cleanliness. Its location is also perfect - close to the beach and Pine Walk, as well as local shops for essentials, and set against a lovely mountain backdrop. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our view over the poolside while my mother in law enjoyed a peaceful outlook to the mountains. The food was terrific - I think it’s even better than previous years, with a great selection of fresh food for all preferences. I noticed the lunch menu in the bar has been enhanced since our last stay also. Usually we eat out often because the local restaurants are so good, but we ate most our meals in the hotel this time as it suited my mother in law better, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. My main compliments are reserved for the staff - as always, we received wonderful service from everyone. The manageress in the restaurant was lovely and chatted with our little girl many times, as did many of the other waiting staff. The bar staff were equally fantastic but our highest praise goes to the Animation team! Rafa, Sven and the rest of the team make the poolside feel like a little community, with activities and quizzes throughout the day. There was a good range of entertainment (especially the Queen tribute act who were incredible!) and our wee girl will miss the Mini Disco! See you next year!!
