Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but there were a few things that brought down my experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it would be great if they knew at least some basic words in other languages when dealing directly with guests.

The food was mostly very British - chips, nuggets, beans, and bacon every day. I was hoping to try more local Spanish dishes, but there were only a few options like rice, pasta, and sauces to mix yourself. Queues for dinner were also amazingly long which was a hard time for families with small kids.

The kids’ animation team could also be better. Some activities felt a bit half-hearted, especially one man painting kids’ faces, who didn’t seem to pay much attention to quality or whether the children were happy.

Had a great family holiday. Stayed for 1 week half board. Plenty of choice at breakfast (recommend the omelette station) and evening meal. The beer is very cheep compared to the UK. I recommend buying their water bottles at €3 and they fill them up with ice cold water whenever you want Swimming pool is nice size and the kids pool is good as well. The slides for the older children were okay and still open at the end of October. The place is also kept very clean. It’s a short walk from the beach. If you turn right out of the hotel and keep walking to the very end you get to the water park and more shops. Also there is the bus stop in short walking distance to go to tarragona , cambrills or Salou. You can buy a bus card with 10 trips for about €12 which does the whole family. When you get on the bus you just tap it for the number of tickets required. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I was staying in this area, great customer service, great location and had everything I needed. We also did the paddle board which we enjoyed. Paid extra for this. We didn’t use the indoor pool (extra charge for this ) as we were blessed with great weather. I have included a picture from my balcony which shows how close the slides, big pool and slides are close together as this is not clear on jet2 website. Kids play area and paddle courts are above. Great holiday.

We stayed here a week for the Haloween half term and we had a great time. Close to the beach. 15 min on the bus to Salou. We stayed half board and there's plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner options, but food was mainly average though but all the staff was always very helpful and friendly. Reception, cleaners, restaurant and specially the entertainment team, Nawal y Mimi you were always happy and so good with us all and so patient with the kids. Thank you all for making my family having a great time. We'll come back one day I hope

The hotel staff are wonderful—kind, helpful, and genuinely good people. From the cleaners to the bar and kitchen staff, everyone does their best.
However, there’s a serious problem with the hotel’s system. There are queues everywhere. You line up at the reception, you wait in line at the bar to get a drink, and even for meals you have to queue. On average, I spend about one to one and a half hours a day just waiting in line.
It’s obvious the hotel hires too few staff to cut costs, and honestly, I think the owners are being incredibly stingy. I’m really tired of standing in queues all the time.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived. The reception team welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The food was also great – there was a good variety at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant staff were especially attentive and very kind. It felt like more than just a vacation – we’re truly happy with the service we received. A solid 8 out of 10!

Balanced view of hotel: Check in was disappointing, only 1 member of staff and several guests let waiting. We waited 45 minutes which wasn't ideal. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was varied and good quality however often the food was not hot enough because the buffet tables don't keep it so. Drinks were not self service often resulting in queueing but not too bad. Bar service elsewhere was usually prompt and good range of drinks available. No issues getting sunbeds. Outside pool was very cold. Animation was limited and entertainment was nothing special. Most staff were friendly and helpful, occasionally some staff were having a 'bad day'. We were on the 5th floor and the lifts were a pain, either not working or slow. Often just took the stairs to avoid them. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and think this hotel has lots of potential if it addressed some of the points raised.

This is a very good hotel. Meets the star rating. The staff and facilities are excellent. The hotel is geared towards family or group holidays but I was not the only solo guest there and never felt out of place. Breakfast is very good and offers a wide variety of choice. Lunch and dinner are very reasonably priced but I did not experience either on this visit. The location is great, it's not seafront but is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and beach front esplanade. I recommend La Hacienda as a great option for La Pineda. I have previously stayed in their sister hote in Salou and the brand consistency is good.

You can’t fault this hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The place is spotlessly clean. The food is amazing and the have microwaves in case it’s not hot enough for you. The pool area is great with flumes for the kids and the older kids too. The entertainment staff are so nice and keep everyone entertained. Only a short walk to the beach and the buses for Salou and Tarragona/Barcelona are right at the door. Also there is a supermarket only 5 mins walk.
