Disliked · Downsides: the air conditioning wasn’t very effective, and the pool closes in October which in our opinion was very early.
Bad points: The hot water was way too hot and because the shower taps are set too high it’s easy to hit the control, and knock it to the hot position and get hit with a blast of scalding water. Temp controlled shower taps are not expensive and can be easily installed.
The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work.
They want you to pay €4 a day for the safe which in most hotels is free. It’s not a lot of money but it’s Penny pinching which leaves a bad impression (the safe in our room was sitting loose above the mini bar-which didn’t even have a small bottle of water in it-again, Penny pinching)
The bedside reading lamps are not moveable. They’re set too close to the beds and if you’re not careful, when you get out of the bed you’ll hit your head on them. That’s why they’re hanging loose/broken.
