That the rooms are bit out dated i agree, but I know they are busy with planning a renovation what also is really needed!! Location is perfect it's close to the beach and shops

Food it's okay don't expect super high standards and one day the food is in my opinion a way better then the other day ( but no complaints). If you go 2 weeks expect the same dishes the second week, the menu won't change

The surrounding area is nice though touristy, as the hotel is in a hotel zone, and has many small souvenir shops and other hotels nearby that offer evening entertainment

We visit the hotel for over 25 years now, we have seen a lot of changes. I won't say they all are positive but for us the hotel is fine

The location of the hotel is very good, 4-5 minutes walking from the beach with many shops and bars around. It’s a big hotel with a lot of people of different ages. Our room was in a quiet area of the hotel

Many locals come here for vacation! The breakfast is rich in variety, the service staff is also very enthusiastic, the room is spacious and comfortable, I will come here a few more times next time to enjoy a few more days!

The nicest experience was a beach , clean and quiet and also big swimming pool. Schame the bar by the pool was close, couldn’t get a sun lounge on the beach either, no animation group too. Overall we had nice time there

A special note for the amazing Tahiti's style swimming pool with pool bar and daily funny water activities. There is also a nice small fitness-room with Technogym equipment

It is very noisy with live music coming from all around. Also during the day there is a staff member who sings live around the pool which is horrible to listen to when you are trying to relax by the water

The hotel itself is very clean and located nearby many restaurants, shops and the beach. We had an all inclusive booking, and the food served was brilliant

The rooms were a great size, balcony included and an air con that came in very handy with the heat outside. The activities and entertainment throughout the week were well planned and very fun to partake in

The staff at the hotel, whether that be the front desk, the bar staff, the waiters, the chefs or the entertainment staff, are a massive credit to the hotel

Sydney, one of the evening entertainment staff, was especially brilliant; full of energy, always smiling, constantly ensuring that everyone was happy and having a good time

Lastly thank you to the reception staff for being great too, we had a late flight but gave us access to food and drink and showers all day which I thought was great. We will be back for sure at some point

Lovely ambiance great late or early season option indoor and outdoor pools, great food, thoughtful staff. Treat yourself to a massage well worth it. The hotel is next to the train station which takes you along the coast

The beach is only a 5 minutes walk and there are a lot of shops, restaurants and supermarkets next to the hotel. We used the Train to Barcelona (-70 minutes) for a day trip

The staff was great, really helpful. The big issue for us was the glass bathroom door! Even though we are quite open and not really shy family, one wants privacy in the bathroom

Staff working across all service areas in the hotel were very polite, courteous and helpful. Pool and entire area of hotel always very clean, tidy and welcoming, sun beds generally always available

The hotel implements a policy to prevent sun loungers being reserved with towels. Guests respected this during our stay and it was easy to get a lounger by the pool at any time of day

The beach is shingles rather than soft sand and the water gets deep quickly - not great conditions for the traditional beach game of bat and ball and not good for very young children

This did not in any way stop myself and my daughter enjoying our stay because we found all other occupants being friendly and respectful, however alternative young english folk may have found it more difficult to socialise in such an environment, had you previously been advised of this fact it could at least give the other holiday makers notes to consider and less cause to complain

He shouted at us, with a question: "What are you doing, look at what is written here - until 00:00!!!", and he did it too aggressively, which shocked me, I felt like I was not a hotel guest, but some ordinary person who illegally entered the hotel

You barely have enough space for your luggages. Also, there are two small elevators; during busy times you have to wait a lot. The breakfast buffet is good, but not much the lunch

Travelled to watch my daughter play football in a local tournament. Great hotel- room was spacious modern and was great. Hotel was spotless, lots of areas to hang out. Pool area was fab lovely pool plenty of loungers

Overall santa sussana is a nice area train station near for travel and a lovely beach just choose a different hotel

Considering other activities, Barcelona is a bit too far (about one hour by train), with a 10 Euro return ticket per person, but if you plan to bath in the sea or pool (since the sea was quite cold) and do less sightseeing, you're probably gonna have a good time

Having read the reviews I decided just to go for one week rather than two what a shame the staff were polite the food was very good location excellant the pool hot tubs and sauna very clean I only wished I had gone for two it was very reasonably priced my room was large for a solo and extremely clean the maids came inabout 10 each morning

Pleasant stay for the price we paid. We had half board and the food was really OK, plenty to choose from (except deserts and well coffee is terrible). Kids playroom - small and the program is weak but it was off-season

Every dinner offered something new and exciting, like grilled beef, monkfish, and even tacos, plus desserts that were a treat! Our room had recently been renovated and matched the online description perfectly (I have noticed that not all rooms were renovated)

I spent a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Don Angel where they were hosting the Bachata Sensual Weekend. The hotel is located at the promenade of Santa Susana. The location is great if you want to be close the beach area

The hotel has multiple facilities, I really love the fact that has a pool and an outdoor area. The hotel has 2 entrances, the front door and the back door, you can find parking in both parts

Very friendly staff, great food. Coffee could have been better, though, and there was a problem with key cards constantly demagnetising.

No kettle, cups, iron,hairdryer! No table in the balcony. You can hire iron & hairdryer for 20 eu deposit at least. No ironboard! Food very very limited choice. What we liked : very close to the tunel to go to the beach

Whilst this included lunch, drinks and free beach sunbeds / umbrellas and use of the Illusions beach bar (opposite Thahiti) we declined their 'kind' offer! NB: Most 'European' guests were AI (Club Select)

Our room was absolutely beautiful and the whole hotel was really well maintained and clean. We mostly spent out time at the pool, although other reviews have complained that it’s hard to get a bed we didn’t struggle

2 bars the pool bar and the evening bar only let down by the drinks menu for all inclusive there needs to be more variety. Again staff were all fantastic on the bars

For me though the evening entertainment needs looking at. The pool decent size but again only thing with that was it was freezing heating it up wouldn't hurt

Swimming pool area is also very nice, but it’s always very crowded with people and it’s hard to get a sun bed, people put towels on them and leave even though it’s not permitted

Food was good just felt there could be a bit more variety again always seemed to be fish or pork but was still amazing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back

What a fantastic hotel! My husband and I stayed here during the IFBB World Championships in November 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained

The furniture is in great condition, the bathroom is huge with a good shower, and the balcony was a wonderful bonus — large, with a sea view, a sofa, a table, and even a rail for drying clothes

We were here only one night in the family room that allows 2 adults, two kids and also a baby, so ideal for big families

The pool was nice and there was free parking nearby. It was a short walk to restaurants and the beach

Entertainment for a budget hotel was ok not much but as expected. The resort itself is certainly drab, there isn't very much much there and for Beach lovers the sea is very powerful so swimming isn't a great idea

We think people expect too much, & for a 3☆ food & drink was good, not only did we not leave feeling hungry, we didn't go in hungry, as well fed from previous visit. For an all inclusive holiday, it was great value
