We stayed for 7 days at Don Marco in Torremolinos and had a really enjoyable experience. Our room was spacious with a great balcony and an excellent shower. Everything was kept spotless, with daily cleaning from very friendly staff. The food was generally good, although the variety could have been a bit better. The cheesecake, however, was absolutely delicious. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the access to the adults-only pool, which was often quiet enough to feel like our own private space. Overall, the hotel staff were helpful, welcoming, and contributed to a very comfortable stay. I hope we come back again in not so distant future 😎

Stayed her in October the weather was brilliant and hot day and evening. Sleep was good hotel is the adult only side to the complex group beds were large and orthopaedic. Rooms are well organised getting dried between the sink and wardrobe after a shower was different but hey it worked.. Sunbeds snd tables, no popping towels down to save places which was refreshing , I had to clean down tables with wipes a few times as they don’t get wiped or cleaned. Food you have to travel to the other hotel complex to get your meals we opted for full board no drinks with meals and over priced water and wine. Often the outdoor eating area was closed or managed to the point I had to set my own place. The noise in the dinning room was over bearing and not all adult although not so many children. We opted to eat evening meals away from the hotel as it wasn’t as relaxing as we had hoped. Good food at times excellent other times the odd poor day but we could always find something delicious. Breakfast fresh omelette a plus. Coffee is dreadful. Tea making facilities in room forget it, late flight so would have loved a hot drink no water for kettle no uht milk. So the pod machines on the web pages must be in other rooms? We walked for a coffee most mornings in the centre we enjoyed the walk and the coffee out. The position of the hotel for the beach is excellent. Irish bars just outside so you can always go for drinks out of the hotel. The walk to the centre is a lovely walk the steps were a welcome daily challenge. Lots of ticks but with a little more effort this could be an excellent place to stay!

Just had 6 nights here great hotel, great staff, lovely bedrooms, people complain about the food?? I’d like to see in there fridge at home!! There’s enough for every one lots of choice! Staff never stop cleaning early morning until evening!if I had one thing to complain about would be the furniture around the pool? It’s not nice, dirty!why clean all around the pool area but not the furniture? That’s my only fault I found, so hopefully it can be cleaned.or maybe renewed? But like I said had a great holiday and would return

This was a week break for just the two of us in September after the school holidays. We stayed in the Don Marco but there were three hotels in a complex and you could use the facilities in all of them. Check in was fine - greeted by a lovely and friendly receptionist who offered us a welcome glass of bubbly - nice touch! The room was absolutely fine - spotless and with very welcome efficient air-con as it was very hot for the time of year. Very nice choice of pools and plenty of availability of sun beds as it was not too busy when we were there. What lets the place down are the catering arrangements. There are two restaurants, one larger than the other but both offering the same menu. However there is no ambience there at all - it reminded me of a staff restaurant in a large hospital. There are simply not enough staff! The ones there are tearing around trying to clear tables and they also have to serve drinks. On several occasions we took ages to be served because they were simply too busy. The food was all cooked to an acceptable standard but the menu was hit and miss. Some nights there was very little to excite but on a couple of nights to be fair there was a good choice. The starters in particular were disappointing. All processed sliced meats and no nice Spanish ham. As a nice meal is a main part of the holiday then I feel that this let it down. All in all a good holiday which would have been excellent but for the shortcomings in the catering arrangements.

Castilla restaurant at breakfast was dreadful. It doesn’t open until 0800 so they should be prepared better. Hot food is cold or at best lukewarm. Plates are cold . Eggs are not prioritised over pancakes which is strange as fresh eggs cooked to order are in demand. No options on cakes for gluten free. Coffee/hot water for tea machines often not working

I have just returned from a fabulous all inclusive week in Don Marco. The food was very good and the drinks were proprietary brands. We had a room overlooking the beach which had lovely views. My only complaint was the loud booming music from the Irish bar - the bass really blasted out! The old Town was well worth a visit, using the quaint lift for 50c each. Would definitely return.

We used to stay in all three hotels many years ago - the style has changed. Very much a large resort complex, shared facilities, very modern, multi pools, bars and restaurants - large outdoor sun bathing area. Plenty of beds (and yes some get the towels on the beds as early as 6:30-7:00)!! - one hotel was being completely renovated. Delayed works. Plenty of noise and disruption. We were not told on booking, nothing on the Melia Members site. Our TA only told us when we paid the full balance. - we had booked an ExTra rooftop room. Which was moved to the quite side of the building, thankfully 🤔 - very friendly welcome from Hannah - room (#3510) was a strange layout, couldn't see the TV from the 2 chairs. Very large private terrace with table + 2 chairs and 2 comfortable sun beds - Bathroom, large, separate shower room and toilet - only 1 evening restaurant and bar in service due to the massive, noisy renovations, + 2 outdoor pool snack outlets - most guests were on all inclusive - Don Marco has an adults only pool and jacuzzi - DOWNSIDE: our room had a smell of damp & sewer stack smell. The terrace wall was crumbling, all reported 3 times, promised to fix it. But was - great staff, but overworked. And it showed! - big shout out to reception Ana who helped us with a minor medical problem requiring a taxi to local hospital. She was wonderful and really cared = worth considering if you want a huge, busy resort complex, with entertainment (not very good) and like all inclusive style and popular with families 😉 = unfortunately not for us, particularly due to poor attention to comments regarding the damp, danaged terrace and smell of the sewers when on terrace 😞

Stayed for 10 days at the don marco. 10 mins from the airport right on the sea front. Reception staff on arrival really good a welcome cava and collected our keys. Room on top floor excellent balcony ,unfortunately building work going on at don pablo was rather noisy. That said it didn’t impact us to much. Room was nice and clean I think the wet room and bathroom could do with small shelves to put toiletries on. A mirror somewhere in bedroom would be handy too. Breakfast was adequate, only one coffee/tea machine only just hot enough ?for a morning drink. The entertainment staff all good did some gym/exercise classes. All in all a good hotel nice staff and clean hotel would stay again.

Very nice location, lovely hotel & friendly staff throughout the hotel. Good food & drink on the all inc. package. We're staying at the moment, the room 3101 doesn't get much sun, but is clean & has a pool on the doorstep. One problem at the moment is the remodelling of the sister hotel on the complex, there's constant building work going on, with noise, and the beach club pool area is closed!
