Hotel la Palmera & Spa in Lloret de Mar

They say it is a 4 star hotel. But it is definitely not. The staff were all super nice. And there was parking for the car. But the room and the hotel was really not clean at all. The room, the bathroom, the bedding, the cutlery, everything was dirty.
The food was ok. Good pancakes and good churros, but that’s it. Service and location was nice, but I would not recommend it.

Lovely pool area, breakfast ok, but very very noisy in the nights. Slamming doors, moving furniture, not a good place to relax. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends. Also I’d like the hotel to state that the pool is not suitable for young children.

Despite my hopes for a pleasant stay, the hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and hospitality. The major letdown was the absence of air conditioning in the rooms. In this day and age, it is simply unacceptable for a hotel to lack such a basic amenity. During my stay, the stifling heat made it incredibly uncomfortable to relax or get a good night's sleep. It felt as though the management had disregarded the importance of providing a comfortable environment for their guests. On a positive note, the hotel's location was convenient, situated close to popular attractions and public transportation options. However, the prime location alone does not compensate for the numerous drawbacks experienced during my stay. In conclusion, my experience at this old and deteriorated hotel was far from satisfactory. The lack of maintenance, uninspiring food options, absence of air conditioning, and indifferent service left a lasting negative impression. I cannot recommend this hotel to fellow travelers who seek comfort and quality during their stay. It is clear that significant improvements are needed to bring this establishment up to modern standards and provide a pleasant experience for its guests.
