We are currently staying at the Maspalomas and tabaiba princess on the tabaiba side first impressions as we entered the hotel were not good there was a funny smell throughout and it looked no way near as nice as the pictures online.We made our way to our room on the ground floor to find dirty tissues , plates and cups outside and all throughout the hallway . As we made our way into our room it was awful drab worn down interior and grubby looking bath room and also to mention a big black stain on the ceiling, the balcony was no better very small with its paint peeling off everywhere.We tried to change hotels but it was not possible so upgraded to a junior suit for an extra €192 this room was much nicer bigger nice shower and nice balcony with sun beds, but again walked into to someone else’s dirty beach towels , water bottles and rubbish etc . I called reception explained the situation and they sent the maids to change the beds or so thought …. They did in-fact make up my daughters sofa bed but didn’t change the bedding from the previous people which had stains and hairs all over so again I called and they sent maids again who didn’t seem very happy. there was a language barrier but from what I can gather she was telling me they were clean in which they definitely were not , so eventually I ended up going to reception AGAIN to explain and showed them pictures of the dirty bedding and hairs but they didn’t seem to care It just seemed as though I was annoying them. This is the worst holiday we have had as a family hands down this is no way near a 4 star + hotel it’s a 3 at best .there is so much more criticism I have left out but frankly I do no have the time or energy to tell it all , it has ruined both mine and my partners birthday .I feel like I need another holiday because of this holiday . Definitely will not be returning feels like we flushed our money down the toilet .
