Beach: public, sandy (Playa Fanabe), 1.8 km from the hotel (3-I coast line). Umbrellas, sunbeds on the beach – for a fee, pool sun loungers, umbrellas and mattresses – free. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. There is a service to the beach (free of charge, several flights in the morning and the evening). The beach is 1 km away.

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights on a tight budget and it exceeded our expectations. This is a 2 star hotel so there are no luxuries but it was spotlessly clean and has a great pool. Yes it's up a hill but there is a public bus stop right outside and another a couple of minutes away which we used to get to Siam park and Monkey Park. We did however walk back from town a couple times and it honestly wasn't that bad.
We were self catering but did go to the buffet 1 night. There wasn't a big selection and it was basic but it did the job. There were burgers, hotdogs, pizza and chips at the pool bar which actually looked quite nice. We had an issue with our fridge which was leaking but I reported this to reception and they took care of it. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
My only real complaints were;
the noise from upstairs guests. Whilst the selfishness of others is not the hotels fault, the doors close really noisily and it rattles through the building. As there are no floor furnishings children running around at midnight literally sounds like a herd of elephants!!
There is an oven but it doesn't work. The rack has been removed and there are no trays leading me to believe it wasn't just faulty. However, I didn't speak to reception about it so I might be mistaken. Ultimately if these are my only complaints then that's not bad really!
I am a professional person and have travelled to many countries and stayed in 5 star hotels. Would I stay here again? On a budget, absolutely. Its a bit rough round the edges with some cracked tiles in public areas and chips in the bathroom enamel etc but I'm not one to let these things ruin my holiday. As long as you have realistic expectations, you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is no where near as bad as people make it out to be. You get what you pay for. Me and my bf used the hotel as a base to explore. Yes the room was basic but it had beds, blankets, towels, a kitchen area, balcony and shower room. No issues with any of these.
The hotel is on a hill so be prepared for your calves to burn after the first day. Especially if you are heading out the hotel to adventure. Taxis are only like €5 from the main area to the hotel. We used this twice but the rest of the time we have walked up the hills.
Will I stay again … yes! I would use this hotel as the perfect base for my next trip to Tenerife

Just had an amazing stay in Laguna Park 2. Very comfy beds, apartment spotless with beautiful views. All inclusive was very nice, every day there was a different main meal with additional food to choose from. Pool bar was amazing, with great uplifting music. We loved everything.

Fantastic holiday. rooms clean. staff happy to please. Good selection for food. Drinks available all day with burgers n hotdogs chips inbetween restaurant times. pool bar. music side of the pool or quite side of pool. clean friendly atmosphere would recommend for the price

Went with my partner and 2 kids for a short 4 night break. I was worried because of all the negative reviews but was actually pleasantly suprised. Apartment was clean and had everything you would need the beds are a bit hard but we still managed to get a sleep. Pool was massive and clean no problem getting sunbeds. Food was ok we ended up eating out but if you are on a budget and don't want to spend money then the food is edible Alcholic drinks weren't good very little selection and all very weak we ended up buying drinks at the bar and they were 5 euro each for a branded spirit Entertainment was good Staff all very welcoming No bed bugs no cockroatches All in all I would say it is good for a short break it is a good location not too far from shops bars & restaurants about 15, 20 minutes to the beach only bad thing about the location is the hill which didn't bother us but if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. I would return.

Yes Worst thing about stay: Brits abroad We stayed here for 4 nights all Inclusive. Less than £35pppn. Like others, we were worried about the reviews but figured we’d be eating out every night so even just for bed and breakfast and some drinks by the pool during the day, it was really good value. What’s the worst that could happen? Rooms were dated but clean. Plenty of storage space and beds were comfortable and cleaned every two days. Plenty of sun loungers around the huge pool area, no need to worry about towel wars. Pool was not heated so quite cold in January but still nice for a cool down. Restaurant is a bit like a canteen. Good options for breakfast including sausage, bacon, scrambled and fried egg. Donuts, churros, pastries, cereal also so no complaints. Not a huge selection for lunch and dinner but we only went to be nosey to leave an honest review. Staff were friendly. Drinks were served in a paper cup, not really sure what the issue is? Hotel is up the hill and not great for people with mobility issues but the views are stunning because of this. Biggest complaint would be noisy people late at night and early in the morning with no consideration for other guests, not the hotels fault. Overall, I was more than happy with my stay. I wouldn’t want to stay here for any longer however for a cheap 4 night escape, it is exactly what I was looking for.

Basic all inclusive , lack of non alcohol beer or even still water not available ant the bar. Big room for improvement but I dont think they willing to go extra mile for customers 🤔. Really need non alcohol options,l. Food in the restaurant grand nothing fab. Always fresh bread 🍞 that was nice. No coffee machine for lunch and dinner , why ? This is insane. Overall good stay. Pool is freezing, so I would suggest coming May to October.

We arrive don the 19th December and leave today we didn't eat in the hotel so can't rate the restaurant or bar entertainment...... we booked a late for Christmas and new year and for the price we were happy with our room it was a very basic 1 bed apartments with kitchenette. We literally only really slept in the room and got changed..... It was cleaned every other day and fresh towels and anything we asked for extra or needed staff always tried to accommodate Views of the sea are amazing we would book again if we needed too but we do have our preferred hotels closer to the beach

Dump ! Worst hotel I’ve ever been to , !! Food unedible ! Beer disgusting ! Stuck in mountain nothing but up hill walking ! Room from the 70s , bed from bedrock !! Steer clear

We knew the hotel was up a large hill but what we didnt realise was the large hills to the room then up the hill to the restuarant & up an even bigger hill to reception so if mobility is an issue i wouldnt book this hotel.. the rooms are basic but for the price you pay there ok .. breakfast was brilliant & they were snacks at pool bar from 11 .the food was fine, again you get what u pay for .pool was large plenty of basic sunbeds. Overall the facilities were ok it was just the hills which would put me off going again.
