Site access roads are a little tight with a larger outfit. Pitch small but adequate and I should have opted for a larger one. One services block a little dated but others are excellent and I gather the site is improving slowly and surely.
Overall a good site with easy access to Benidorm.

Place is crawling with processionary catapillars and they do not warn you about them either. In fact I have a dog to which these caterpillars are lethal and they’ve stuck me right under a pine tree with nests. I won’t be staying for my full term
and I will not return. And that’s the feeling I get from many dog owners on the site that I visited this week. They are doing nothing. In fact, they moved the Dog exercise yard to a place where there’s a pine tree where these caterpillars hatch very stupid.

Here for our 2 week fix in Beni. The shop has now gone so no gas on site, you have to go to the caravan supply place over the road or the repsol garage which is inconvenient given the age group here. Facilities all good.
They still need to cut some of the big trees back given the storms recently.
€28.50 a day for a pitch, €3 a day for a tiny dog, and leccy on top makes it an expensive camp tho. Probably our last time coming here even tho we love it.

So much noise and dust from the building site , then at night it stinks of human poo ! , why ? Because 90% vans here are long term and there's no proper soil pipe drainage , the caravans must run there toilet into the grey waist 4inch brown pipe , so at 1 in the morning ther is no water going down pipe to help flush it away ,,,,,

A very clean and well maintained camp site. Good showers with hot water (not push button).

Secure and easy access via front office and security bars.

A restaurant (closes at 4pm) and bar remained open.

Great little shop with fresh fruit and vegetables and all sorts. 2 minutes from front office.

Aldi next door. Restaurants outside along main road.

A good peaceful place to be, but also within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars and the beach (which is approximately 15 minutes).

Is an American traveling Europe, I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are attentiveness, professionalism, and smiles. Just make your stay so much more enjoyable. The maintenance staff is also fantastic. As for the campground itself, I think it’s the best location in Benidorm. Although you may be able to find places that are technically closer, they are up the hill. This is on the main street that leads you down to the beach, which is only about a mile away, but it is also far enough away from all the Benidorm craziness that you get some peace and quiet. The other guests that I met there were absolutely amazing and had the right attitude about everything. You did not feel uncomfortable by the people that stay their year-round. Just can’t say enough about this place. The grounds are also very well kept, very clean bathrooms and showers. Hot water that is not regulated in anyway. Just an overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

The Spanish staff in the restaurant are rude and seem that they don't want to work. We won't go there unless Staz is on duty as he is pleasant and understands what customer service means! Do they realize who pays they salary! Spanish customers seem to have priority, but what percentage a Spanish are on El Raco?

Just home from a fab family holiday here. This isn’t usually the type of holiday we would do but as my family members drove here for my mums 60th to stay in their tents we decided to stay in one of the bungalows for 10 nights. The bungalow was small but clean and had everything we needed and although we had everything to cook at home we ate out a lot as the area was very cheap. The site is in a great area over looking the mountains and within walking distance to Benidorm but taxis can also be ordered from reception. We were worried about staying here after reading the reviews about the construction and I understand why locals are upset but we weren’t going to let a bit of noise ruin our holiday on a beautiful site. To be honest we spent most days at the pool and barely noticed the noise! Also want to state that we travelled from England and found the restaurant staff to be friendly and the staff at reception were very helpful! We thought the shop was reasonably priced and the baguettes which they make up for you were amazing for €3.50! I think we got one everyday! All in all we had a lovely stay and if we were to do this type of holiday again would definitely come back to raco! Also a top tip if your using the pools make sure to have your wrist bands on at all times as the life guard is very strict on it!😂

The noise from the construction at both sides of camping raco is horrendous from 8 in the morning prepair to hear drills bangs and just constant loud noise allday. At the pool they try to drown out the noice with spanish music but this just makes it worse if the drilling dosent give you a head ache the music will . The raco restaurant catering only to the spanish, the staff seem very rude and seem to hate anyone who isnt spanish prepair to be ignored if you aren't spanish , no entertainment only privert parties you're not invited too. the little raco shop, prices are outrageous over priced on every item which most don't have a price on display untill you get to the till and you get a shock, nice variety of fruit and vegetables but you be paying for it. There are no events or entertainment so you are solely paying for space and facilities that seem to not exist, the toilets near me definitely needed updating was small and cramped but others ive seen around the park are new just not the ones near me . i think what you pay a month for what you get in return is heavily over price where other places you get a lot more value for your money and a clubhoue that has entertainment and caters for all. I know the construction is only temporary but you would of thought people whould get a discount for the inconvenience because who wants to be woke up at 8 everyday while they are on holiday, i just dont think you get a lot of value for your money here at camping raco for people buying a year around lot, theres better places around

We had a lovely Christmas at Raco Great site Lovely clean Showers Toilets and Laundry room Heated Pool Lovely friendly little shop with THE best cakes . Bar /Restaurant very good with Drinks and tapas or Full menu . Markets are mostly within walking Distance and cycling Distance Reasonable walk into Benidorm bit of a hill coming back up so we walked to villa sol and cut Across behind Benidorm palace as a much flatter route . Lots of bars Restaurants opposite . Plenty of local supermarkets including English Iceland ( Expensive) but useful . Lots of Chinese shops selling absolutely everything you could possibly need Really Enjoyed our Stay ! Tho I Believe there is currently Building work going on )
