The food itself was excellent, Rocky, the chef was fantastic in accommodating my wife’s intolerances to gluten and dairy and we would go back just because of the great selection and his passion and helpfulness
Perfect hotel, staff could not be more friendly and helpful, our shower was leaking so we told reception and within 20 mins we came back and it was re-sealed and fixed.
What a fantastic hotel! The view from our room was stunning! Rooms are great if a little tired in places, cleaned everyday with fresh towels, all staff very pleasant and polite, acts we saw were good standard
It is a lovely hotel close to beach, food 1st class staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms 1st class would come here time & time again, would recommend it to anyone
Only had breakfast but restaurant was very clean and food was plentiful, well cooked and well presented!
Cant wait to come back here!
Good points:
- blankets are provided in winter along with bedding
- staff are extremely helpful and friendly (special mentions: Peter, Flaviân, and Bianca on reception // David in the resturant/bar area
- the common areas are well decorated and clean
- the layout of the food is nice, and the chefs are constantly replacing anything that’s running out
- they offer table service in the cafè/bar area
...
When we actually checked in we were upgraded to next level of room, another big thanks for that. The whole of the hotel was spotless clean, well apportioned with excellent decoration
All in all a great place to stay and not forgetting the excellent and very likeable staff. The local area has good dining and bars that made our stay very welcoming. We can highly recommend a stay at the Rocamar hotel
Our room was excellent, with very comfortable beds, lots of electrical sockets for charging fones, etc
Good value and they very kindly left a bottle of wine and some tasty muffins as a birthday surprise
Room had balcony which was too small to use but lovely to have open during day! Staff were pleasant and very helpful and in terms of value for money it was excellent! Would definitely recommend for short stays!!!
However breakfast was sparse and not fresh served in a bare and sterile dining area. This place is ok for a night or two, but any longer without sleep would not be good
Rooms were huge and very clean, staff were excellent and the location was excellent. We stayed on a B&B basis and this suited us due to going out most of the evenings. The coffee in the cafe of the hotel was divine
Mainly Spanish people in the hotel but that wasn’t an issue at all Perfect location for the old town, supermarket 1 minutes walk away, so many places to eat & drink nearby. 10 minutes walk into the new town
We arrived at this hotel, on Tuesday evening, check in was painless. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Perfect location for seeing all the different genres of this wonderful place
came back on Sunday 2nd of March having stayed for a week, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff go over and above with service, excellent location, will be going back, stayed on road side with a balcony, but never bothered by any noise, extremely clean and well looked after, made lots of use of the café bar in the front of Hotel, very reasonable prices, complete sun trap this time of year...
Stopped here after booking another hotel that wasn't good. Asked if the had a sea view room and they did. Stayed here from the 28th October through to the 1st of November and it was great
Lovely hotel good size rooms and large balcony ..spotlessly clean.lovely staff.food mediocre we were half board but decided to eat out most evenings we were the only British there.very Spanish.

I don't know how the rooms were because I didn't stay the night, but I was able to have a drink and a snack there. It was quite good, but it could be much better
Very pleased with this hotel, didn’t really review the hotel before we just wanted somewhere in Benidorm old town. We couldn’t have picked a more pleasant hotel, perfectly situated right round the corner of Tapas Alley
!!!!!! Dianna and Carmen both on reception were wonderful they helped make my stay both comfortable and welcoming and most importantly I felt very safe during my stay at the hotel especially as a female traveller, They both were quick and efficient in dealing with any queries
The hotel combined cleanliness and good upkeep with a warm charming atmosphere. The hotel was perfectly located away from the hussle and bussle of the strip but also very central to bars and resturants
On Easter Sunday we stepped outside to find a full traditional Spanish Easter parade going right past the front door - that's the kind of experience you only get when you're truly in the middle of things
The hotel itself feels modern and recently renovated throughout - officially three stars but honestly feels like it's quietly heading towards four
The staff was very pleasant, the facilities were good, and the food was excellent. We'll be back.
Great location, great service, very good food, very good service, everything was great, the only thing was the pillows on the beds were very thin, there weren't enough to put two, otherwise everything was very good.
The hotel was great, spacious room, with terrace + fridge and the shower pressure was great too. They had events in the night but you couldn’t hear it from the room, which it was nice
Parking is possible if you ask reception since it’s chaotic to try and park on the street
The AC in the room was new and though it is slow to respond, it works very well. The buffet breakfast, had many choices but unfortunately all the hot choices
A nicely located modernised hotel. The toom, for two, was a little small but cosy. The shower room was very large by comparison to the room size
Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality
I did see a few smiles when I tried asking for something in spanish, goodness knows what I was saying. Bus to benidorm stops outside sister hotel, to go to benidorm stand at the stop opposite the bus shelter
I spent with my wife an enjoyable vacation in the city of Benidorm in July 2023 at this hotel. The hotel was clean, beautiful, with excellent food
this was the main treat for us , food is amazing, and full board guests have wine included in the meals!!! You could expect delicious Paella every day, different type of fish ( monkfish was a killer) , seafood ( cuttlefish) , delicious deserts and tasty soup 🍲
And I liked fresh fruits with every meal. If you can't find anything you like , there's probably something wrong with you. Hotel is placed in quiet location, but isn't far away from main attractions
It's actually two sister hotels , and you could move between both , usually Hotel Alone hold more shows than Tropic. Kids club is closed but its winter season, therefore don't bother
We were given a receipt and also a sheet with terms and conditions which were fair (keep apartment clean, remove rubbish and take bedding off etc)
Rooms were basic but a lot better than we expected
Good location if your on a stag weekend
We stayed here for New Year 2025 for 1 week. Before arriving we read the reviews and were really worried about staying here to the point we were going to change hotels
Our friends paid via credit card and the money went straight back into their account. We paid via debit card so took around 5 days to go back in. Overall, a really good stay and would definitely stay here again
If you follow the rules, which is basic put your rubbish in bin, strip the beds you ll be fine and you’ll get the deposit back no problem at all. Rooms were best rooms iv stayed in for a while
When we arrived, the guy on the desk was friendly and checked us in as quick as he could, it did take a little while but there was 8 of us. We paid €200 deposit per room which would be refunded on checkout
We didn't eat there but set up for breakfast looked good, also didn't use pool but it looked small but enough & had a pool bar. Staff were very friendly & helpful
Hotel was good for families simple rooms but not much fun in this place just good if you want be quiet simple hotel.....
We're just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel in the Old Town & would definitely return! It's away from the hussle & bustle but still plenty nearby, we walked into the New Town, used buses & taxi is around 9-11 euro
All food and products available are very good and tasty. We also used the (paid) park for the car we booked. With the exception of the minibar, the hotel has all the amenities for a perfect stay
All the staff are always helpful and very friendly. The swimming pool is sufficient with a very nice bar. The rooms are medium in size with a good air conditioning
We do a tour by car from the North to the South of Spain 🇪🇸, when we arrived in Benidorm city , this was the hotel 🏘️we liked best, although it was 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️, we were more satisfied with the 4 star hotel 1
In future I will save the €7 each per day breakfast charge and just buy a coffee. They do offer food, but it seems to be only very expensive<€13/14)> burgers ordered from a local takeout
Excellent location, quality, and excellent value for money during the high season in July, with the music festival on, very good
Have stayed here before, it is nicely located, quiet, basic but nice, clean and friendly
We do not eat breakfast, but where ever we stay, we buy breakfast, just drink the coffee and take a bacon sandwich / boiled egg to eat later, this it seems is no longer allowed, signs on every table state food must not be taken from dining room
Not bad wud have preffered kettle already in room rather than get one wi deposit quite central so lots around beds comfy as owt
Nothing fancy but exactly as advertised.. Great location and very competitive price.
Good location between the old and n town I hope to return again
We have visited Benidorm numerous times and stayed at many hotels and this is a little gem in a really good location a bit noisy but hey it's Benidorm, what makes this hotel so good is the staff and service they are all brilliant but the biggest shout out has to go to the housekeeping/cleaning staff because this place is immaculate, the breakfast is nice and fresh and a good choice
*Pros* Clean and contemporary hotel Great location Wonderful reception staff Fantastic powerful shower Proper black out curtains WiFi was good and consistent Kids watched YouTube when getting ready and no issues there *Cons* Didn’t sleep well at all, woke up from 6am every morning, bin wagons, work men, jack hammers going off, stihl saws, men shouting over to each other talking, diggers right...
I asked for a quieter room and was given one on the fifth floor with a lovely big balcony with two sunbeds and table and chairs this was much better and quieter and changing rooms was very easy as we packed out cases and went out for the day and when we came back they were in our new room The hotel is very clean and house keeping work very hard
Breakfast not so good but I'm not fussy on buffet breakfast. Reception staff very helpful and offered us a coffee. when checking out as we were leaving early
The only reason I haven't rated it five is because the walls are very thin you can hear the people in the next room talking as if they are sat at the bottom of your bed which is a shame as this is the only thing to let it down

The ladies and Pedro who work at reception are first class and the lady at breakfast is so so lovely, helpful and an all round amazing person, One of the best bits is being able to take your continental breakfast up to your room and have breakfast in your balcony
The hotel is spotless and for a 3 star on jet2 we were amazed at how good it was. Super warm powerful shower and comfy beds. A must is to visit the restaurant attached to the hotel called Strat
Me and wife Stayed in hotel end of March 2026 for a week from we arrived till we left made very welcome by all,In the morning uv a choice of breakfast we went for the healthy and the English breakfast was really lovely,The hotel and rooms r really clean r room was cleaned every day,You really couldn't ask to be any closer to the beach and you can hire chairs from the hotel aswell,I would stay hr again...
Special deal for hotel guests and worth every penny. The kitchen is ran by a girl who won master chef and the food, the service and its presentation were amazing. We can out to run the Benidorm half/10k
We are on out last day of 9 at this wee gem of a hotel. The staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We asked for an extra pillow and towel and they were delivered the same day
We spent four nights here at the beginning of November, the hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean and was right on the beach. Perfect location for some winter sun
Breakfast was well presented and a great selection was provided. We didn’t utilise the hotel entertainment really but the snippets we saw were good
Its a very short walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the new town. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The food was good and had lots of options
The room could do with being a bit larger but it wasn’t a problem- the ground floor rooms do not have the best ambience due to a prisoner cell gate to the balcony but I understand it assists with security
Great service , great variety in the breakfast , welcome bottle of water in the room , pools are very inviting. No complaints from us as a party of 5. We made use of the luggage room
All in all it was a fantastic experience and we will book again ext year for our annual trip, thoroughly recommend
Service in all areas was exceptionally courteous and professional. Cleanliness was impressively high
Very difficult review to write as the hotel and staff are absolutely lovely. In what you think would be a great location
Excellent hotel, got the best room in the house on the top floor with the most beautiful views. The room was big and so clean. The staff were friendly and so helpful throughout
Really nice hotel in a good location.
Typical English breakfast and lunch 👍🏻 Biggest meal ever and it was really good💥🙋🏼♀️ The staff was friendly and even had a smile on their lips when they were talking with each other 😉😆🤩🇪🇸 🇸🇪♥️
Beautiful boutique feel to this family run hotel set footsteps from the beach at beginning of old town. Clean rooms, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Highly recommend for exploring Benidorm town!
We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely too. This is my 3rd time in Beni but my 1st time staying at hotel colón, I plan to use this hotel for every future visit
Bathroom needs some attention as mould in places and bath mat is like a hessian sack! Overall, would return here as location is so good and views are beautiful. Can walk to Benidorm which takes about an hour or so
Apart hotel is a good place to stay we hade 3 apartments and the service was really good.
The location is perfect 2 minutes from the beach and restaurants and the view is amazing.
We had a 4 bedroomed apartment, sleeps 8. quite steep but the views are stunning. Theres a cafe onsite, they play relaxing music. But go down the hill and theres a lovely sandy cove, lots of bars and eateries
well located hotel
Well located property in a quiet area and close to the beach, although our taxi driver got lost! The apartment was clean and comfortable with clean towels provided on alternate days
We parked the car and walked everywhere, views are out of this world, apartment is a bit tired but clean and great value for location. Parking available underneath the building for 12 euro
Amazing stunning apartment with out of this world views with everything you would need. Beach bars and shops close but a bit hilly if not so agile. Staff extremely helpful and friendly
Breakfast had plenty of choice, and although it’s a shame they don’t serve food after 3pm, the restaurant was always busy (mainly with locals – always a good sign!)
Sadly they have put a water sports thing in front of restaurant so it spoils the beautiful view but food very good. I did look into that but not sure the hotel seems very good but restaurant is
It's 3 star hotel but it's just great.
Easy to get to, no parking but street parking not too far away. Lovely view of the whole bay
Standards remain high. Great hotel Great location Great staff Fabulous breakfast Great value We stayed on the 5th floor
Excellent hotel, tucked away at the end of beach, great for getting onto the front, excellent views of the seafront. Staff friendly, helpful and very clean! Breakfast good, will definately be back!
A good plus is the included breakfast, although the selection isn't very large, but you can grab a bite to eat in the morning and enjoy free coffee. The only downsides are the need for a safe key and the lack of an iron
Drains on a morning in the bathroom are not great (smelly) but open the window and it soon clears
The reception staff were also very accommodating. But the best thing about this apartment is definitely the terrace ,it’s huge with stunning views of the sea and Benidorm. Plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture too
Good location and great staff. We were on the back but we were informed before arrival that we had no balcony or view, so it was not a problem. On the beach at the furthest most point south
One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in
The apartment exceeded my expectations and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning!
There was ample storage space and everything was spotless, and all staff were friendly and offered exceptional, personal service
Everything about the Don César Boutique Apartments is perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. From the moment I booked, I received personal service and an immediate response to any query I had

The sun hit our balcony as well which was great for chilling out on. Special mention to Inigo who could not have been more helpful and friendly during our stay. The housekeeping was superb as well
We love staying in the old town area. pf benidorm amd this was perfect 2 minute walk into the centre for shopping ,bars and food. The room was lovely we had a double bed, walk in shower
Just spent four days here celebrating my birthday with my wife and meeting up with some friends. The room was immaculately clean and well appointed with all that we needed for our stay
Helpful and friendly staff, made our trip very pleasant. Great location close to everything but quiet. Was a really perfect place to stay and we felt very safe
We had a late flight and didnt arrive at the hotel until 1 am, very friendly staff and the desk is manned 24hr but need to ring if arriving after 9pm
I stayed there with my grandparents and they also have very positive things to say about our stay. Thank you to all the staff there
A very good hotel, excellent hotel and services. Very good food with a lot of variety & choices. Pool is very good as we're the rooms, The staff are very nice and friendly with all of us
Very good value for money.......great for a cheap weekend away. Recommend.
Great hotel, big rooms and big balconies. Never have to wait long for a lift, there's four of them altogether. Local brands on AI but you can pay for the nice stuff, like Bombay sapphire
The food was great, lots of options for all tastes and the staff were actively clearing plates all the time. Plenty of help yourself drink options available with meals including alcohol
Food was amazing and plentiful.
Drinks were locally sourced and tasted very good, beer was Cruzcampo😊.
Entertainment every night and good quality singers, quizzes and karaoke.
Swimming pool: 25m in length - therefore excellent to swim long distances for fitness. Sunshine and exercise what’s not to like! 👏
It’s a shame to watered down drinks were diluted with a sugary solution 😞
Absolutley fantastic ❤️everything about it very clean staff are great laura and the girl who looks like her sister lol are my favourite the barman little man dark hair hes lovley to stay here each time we visit its lovley good entertaintment too took are grandson who was 5 he absolutley loved it ,its in a great residential area yes its up a steep hill but we have mobility scooters we go litrally the...
First visited these apartments 20 years ago and they were fab then. They still are now! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and good fun. Our room was huge with everything we needed for our 5 night stay
Quiet location, a 15min walk to old town and beach, down hill definitely need a taxi back for 5 to 7 euros. Large apartment very clean and well equipped. Excellent shower plenty of hot water
Clean, spacious enough apartments, large balcony, all areas were very clean and tidy, there seemed like an army of cleaning ladies in the morning, and the pool was always checked and cleaned at night by a wee robot! Staff all very friendly, had no issues at all on that front
Had a strange experience one day at the pool when I was on my own and a man with long hair and a beard stood behind me reciting the bible according to John, it made me very uneasy! Possibly should have reported it to reception
The apartments are up a steepish hill but you get the benefits of peace and quiet plus it’s a short taxi ride from the old or new town. They offer a lovely looking buffet breakfast for €8/pp and buffet dinner for €16/pp
