We have a wonderful stay. Great location. Could see the beautiful sea and near to all great restaurants. Staff is great and breakfast is great. Very nice passion fruit juice. Thank you so much.

An excellent hotel in the center of the fort, the owner himself prepares breakfast, if you want to immerse yourself in the old days, this is the place for you.

This hotel has one of the best and closest location to the rampart and lighthouse. The property is oozing woth colonial charm, with lots of wooden furniture and white linen. It is manned by a few staff and are friendly. The breakfast they cook are delicious and plenty, feel like staying at home. There are only 4 rooms, so siding peak season, book way ahead! Each room is spacious and comfortable, with air conditioner and hot water system. Free Wi-Fi is available, but there is no TV inside the room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and could highly recommend to anyone.

The location of the room is perfect, 100/100, and the room is fully equipped with amenities, plus the bed is super comfortable. There aren't many rooms in the whole building, but the decor is just like an old house in the ancient city, very beautiful. The breakfast prepared by the owner was incredibly rich and delicious, and they'll engage you in some warm conversations. It's truly an amazing B&B experience. The price was also quite good during the National Day holiday. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the ancient city; it's just a one-minute walk to the lighthouse, turn right when you exit.

It's a very unique little building, very close to the coast, with a great atmosphere. However, the sound insulation of the house is too poor, and the air conditioner outdoor unit downstairs made noise all night long.

The host was very welcoming, helpful with everything, and always made sure I was okay. The hotel is in a great location, just steps from the fort walls, close to the lighthouse and numerous restaurants. I slept to the sound of the ocean. I loved everything.

I stayed here for two days in a row just because this B&B is very convenient for living and traveling. The Chinese restaurant next door is just right for my taste. It is especially comfortable to sit on the castle wall in the evening and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Nice hotel in a great location. The service was also great, but there was a minor miscommunication regarding transport to the airport - my recommendation would be to try and confirm with other guests not the hotel whether they would like to share a taxi to the airport

Once you got in the hotel, there will be a very nice fresh fruit juice, really nice. Sunil is a very nice chief and host himself, trying his best for the breakfast, and the hotel is very clean and nice, historical furnitures and architecture from the English, location is walkable to everywhere, nice place to stay in Galle center.

This was the second stop on this island, and we were very lucky with the choice of this Hotel. A wonderful room, everything is thought out and done with taste.Comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed here. The people was very helpful and unobtrusively helped us. incomparable breakfasts, specially selected for you. A hospitable place that we didn't want to leave and stayed here for a while longer. we highly recommend visiting this hospitable and kind people

The hotel is rustic and authentic. It is no generic international standard hotel by any stretch but it is classy, arty and boutique. In a quiet backstreet but an easy walk anywhere around the fort. Breakfast is delicious and very good but can become a bit repetitive if staying more than a day so a couple of other options to select would be good. Service is very good and friendly from staff.

We had the best stay at Prince of Galle. Such a lovely location, with beautiful interior design and thoughtful attention to detail. A real highlight for us was the friendly and genuinely caring service from Rukman, Kapila, and Sarengh, who made sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. The breakfast was also fantastic. Truly a little gem in Galle, we would definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special.

Don’t think twice about staying here, Prince of Galle is a real gem. Effortlessly stylish with classic colonial charm, perfectly located inside Galle Fort with everything within easy walking distance. The staff are exceptional and genuinely go above and beyond. Rooms are small but beautifully done and completely in keeping with the building’s character. The iced tea really is the best, and breakfast is on another level. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful colonial style hotel on a quiet side street within the fort itself. We were lucky enough to stay in the Kings Residence on the top floor. The style of the property is Sri Lankan colonial but with western comforts like air conditioning. The top floor suite includes an open plan sitting area with chairs and access to a small terrace to view the sunset.
The staff are so welcoming and pandered to our every need. The breakfast justifies its billing as superb and is a lovely combination of Sri Lankan flavours served in a western style.
