We get there and the first thing I observe is that they are NOT beach fronted. We open the door to our cabana and a hit blast hit us! Air conditioning took its time to work

It has a very beautiful and peaceful environment and there is a good staff who provided us with their service very well. The rooms are very clean and we can see a beautiful view of the sea in the evening

Had a wonderful experience at Era Beach. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Great amenities and smooth check-in made the stay even better. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located on the beach front but you cannot actually go in the sea here due to the rocks. However there is a lovely secluded beach a little further to the right (approx 15 min walk along the beach)

Had memorable stay in Era Beach.. Food was excellent.. friendly staff. Room was clean. great value for money. highly recommended.

There are a number of staff around but due to the nature of the hotel they often need to be tracked down to order a drink etc

This hotel may not be for everyone but it certainly suited us. There are only 8 rooms so things are very quiet and relaxed

We had a great time staying at Anantamaa while at Tricomalee. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were clean and quite inviting. There is a pathway you can take to get to the beach and it sure is worth it

Although all the rooms overlook the ocean, the soundproofing is terrible, you won't get enough sleep, because there are constantly tuks and crazy basses (which honk at everyone)

Blue Beach is a MUST visit stay in Sri Lanka. My husband and I had the best time at the venue. The owner and the staff especially Chandra sir were so kind and lovely and made our stay super special

Pros: The hotel is located in a picturesque area with a deserted beach and clear, turquoise water. Cons: The hotel itself is a nightmare and in desperate need of a major renovation

Overall, the hotel needs an owner/management who will actually renovate it and bring it up to standard. And there is no large swimming pool like in the photos

My booking was not received through *********** which caused some confusion but the hotel was very helpful in accommodating me for the night. The room was very big, clean with balconies and views of the beach

I had a quick lunch in the zansibar resto.. It wasn't expensive and the taste was good. Beach is also clean.. In the resto they have free Wi-Fi and some cool music running. Great spot to chill..

For the beach, cross the road and walk to the left to Dalawella Beach (1km) or to the right to Unawanu Beach (500 meters). You need to take a 24-minute bus to Galle Dutch Fort. The front desk can arrange a tuk-tuk

Staff were all super friendly and professional, except one day a young restaurant worker at the dinner directly asked for money while serving you dinner, explaining his salary is small and if we can help him, very awkward! Swimming pool area is cute! Just cross the road and you can swim at the beach 🏖️ cool

The pool was lovely and warm and the hotel is directly on the beach, so you can walk up the beach if you’re going out for the night or jump in a tuk tuk. We stayed for 3 nights and loved Hikkaduwa : )

Rockside beach resort is the most beautiful hotel in the bentota area. The foods are really delicious and staff is really friendly.

The semi indoor pool was clean and well maintained with change rooms in the hotel foyer. Best to have your own beach towels, as was the case almost all over the island

The location right on the beach was perfect - a few steps around the bay to protected swimming behind the reef with turtles nudging you for a sea lettuce treat. Nearer the reef there were lots of fish, big and small

I’ve had a wonderful 4 day stay at the Sayura. The beach and ocean view from my bedroom was fantastic and the position right on the beach front was perfect. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious

The hotel is in wonderful place, room was spaces and clean, view was amazing. Staff wasn’t very interested in you but what asked did everything. For example to give water to clean room to give fresh towels

There are just 2 things good about this hotel rest all is very very poor. The good things is very spacious room and direct view of the beach from each and every room

We had a second-floor room, and I enjoyed watching the sunrises first thing in the morning. I also enjoyed watching the local fishermen on the beach. The room was big and clean, and the bed was very comfortable

It seemed like a very nice place to work. Imagine: they even gather on the beach to play volley, inviting guests to join. Manager, greenkeeper, waiters, cleaners, everybody is treated with respect

We were here for scuba diving and had one night out at Fernando's a tuk tuk ride away. At a hotel in Hikkadua the hotel cleared the beach in front. I think they should have tried to do this here

This hotel has very good view from the balcony. Last place i visited with direct beach access was my friend house in calangute goa. The rooms are not maintained as they are exposed to salty winds

Bed clothes become wet too and you shiver with cold at night. The ocean is rough opposite the hotel, sunbeds need repairing. The menu is poor and food is unreasonably expensive

The 6 Rooms are roomy and very comfortable. The pool is big and facilities modern:definitely higher end accommodation in Hikkaduwa. The beach isn't as busy as further up in Hikkaduwa. Staff are discreet yet helpful

I stayed at Roman Beach Hotel, a beachfront hotel located on Hikkaduwa’s main road. The room was spacious, featuring a balcony with a beautiful sea view. The pool area is great with sun chairs set right above the beach

Stayed for one night. Upgraded on arrival which was nice. Hotel was very quiet and perfect for a quiet getaway. Good access to the beach, decent pool and an excellent breakfast.

This is my second time staying in this great accommodation. It is truly wonderful being semi remote and literally on the beach. I was here in 2017 the last time and have to say it’s like coming home again

On arrival we were greeted with a cold drink and friendly welcome from Nipuna and abey we checked in to a lovely room with balcony looking out over the pool and garden with all the amenities you need lovely fluffy towels for the room and pool they smelt lovely

The beach is beautiful perfect for walks the sea can be rough but a short walk away you can relax and enjoy the warm waters and watch the fish we were lucky to see turtles in the rolling waves it was so lovely to see them

Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and the team of workers could not do enough to make you feel welcome and at home. Spent ages in the pool with my children and on the comfy sun loungers

The food was average, and it's a bit far from the main beach area, but the peaceful ambiance and beautiful sunset in the evening made up for it. The staff was nice, and overall, it was a good and relaxing stay
