We stayed for 4 nights. Good hotel and great service by the staff. Beach days were excellent. Rooms average. Location is great

The calamari was crispy and flavorful, the avocado salad was refreshing, and the fruit platter was a great tropical touch. The cappuccino was rich and smooth, just what we needed to unwind

The food was another highlight! Our dinner on the first night was so good that we didn't hesitate to have lunch there the next day as well

For the Price that is quite high for the island, we would expect room cleaner and with more décorations

Good hotel, new clean rooms and bathrooms with hot water. Five minutes 🚶 walk to Polhena beach safe place to take sea bath. And also few minutes walk to Madihe beach which is famous among surfing 🏄 lovers

The place is quite good and clean, have attached bathrooms and the bathrooms are also good and new. Will surely recommend for an overnight stay.

Very good and peaceful place in Matara area

My family had a wonderful time at Turtle Bay Beach Resort. The staff were all king and attentive, they all checked in to make sure things were to our satisfaction

On the beach hotel, nice view. Most of the people going to snokelin at the morning. So owner said that there are so many turtles in the area.

Resort with fantastic pool!!! In the Uppuveli restaurant area. The manager is a helpful and attentive person. I would say the best in Uppuveli area. 5 minute walk to the beach where there are seaside restaurants

We stayed at Turtle Bay from January 2nd for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was truly superb! From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive service made us feel right at home

The peaceful beachfront location with stunning ocean views created the perfect setting for relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed every meal — delicious food with great variety

- they didn't clean our room, they just made our bed, and a smartass on staff drank a small sprite from our bar and threw the empty bottle in the trash can by the entrance (we accidentally noticed the dirty trick), and the next day we reported our "ugh!" to the manager

However, the access to the hotel itself was inconvenient, so we were transferred to the hotel minivan. The lovely receptionists greeted us warmly and quickly checked us in

The advantages of this room: hot water all the time, beautiful scenery, oneness with nature (peacocks fly from palm tree to palm tree, a family of crows lives in the rocks at the entrance to the house - we didn't bother them and they didn't bother us); monkeys visited our balcony at different times - two different flocks

The hotel provides a shuttle to the beach from 7:30 a. and picks you up in the evening. The hotel has a small stretch of beach with a cafe, bar, free sun loungers, and umbrellas. Towels are provided on the beach

We also fed the fish that live in the "aquarium" between the first and second floors with buns. The staff is polite, except for the beach boy (more on that separately)

If you need a transfer somewhere - they will order what you need at reception, they will bring you boarding passes, they will prepare breakfast for the trip (I asked for it), waiters are always present in the restaurant They hang around the vacationers

Breakfast was not included as there was no restaurant at the time of our booking but the owner opened an on site restaurant on the day we left. The beech was fantastic- very clean

The restaurants along the beech are very good but come at a premium. We ate mostly away from the beech. The bar on the beech called ‘Your Choice’ served great cocktails, in particular an amazing Pina Colada

It also served a good barista coffee. Lastly the staff at all of the above were friendly and professional. At all times we have felt very safe in all respects

Very close to the accommodation was a great scuba diving centre with very good staff. Also whale watching and dolphin watching available right off the beech

All in all the Golden Beech Cottages provided brilliant value for money and has so far been the best part of our stay. We would love to return one day

I imagine that there must be some level of crime as there is everywhere - but we have seen nothing whatsoever that appeared to be any sort of issue

Very nice place!!. The staff was really helpful and kind. The food was delicious too and the place was so calm and nice, felt like home. Clean rooms and washrooms. Specially the washrooms were really clean and spacious.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Beautiful hotel within such close proximity to the beach yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of Hikkaduwa. The host Luca made us feel at home with such a warm welcome

If you don't want to be in the very touristy Hikkaduwa and crowded beach, this is the right place. But don't expect much action. We had a wonderful stay here and Luca is a great host. We wish him all the best!

I would recommend anyone visiting Hikkaduwa to stay here, you will enjoy the peace and quiet, waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Sad to be leaving but it won't be my last visit ? P

The only problem was wifi - we had to work, but the connection in our room was weak, so most of the time we worked downstairs in the restaurant. I case you're there vacationing, the wifi is more than enough

Cloud 9 is tucked away off the main road , but a short stroll will bring you to restaurants and the beach

Located outside the city in a quiet suburb within walking distance of the beach & many local restaurants. I have stayed at Cloud 9 on many occasions and always appreciated the laid back nature nature of the place

We stayed at that hotel for 2 nights, and was pretty good. The air conditioner is working very well, is close to the town and beach. Breakfast was okey, not in European standards

Great place to stay near Columbo Airport. Rooms large and comfortable with good air conditioning. Free breakfast was delicious and served by a very pleasant staff. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful

What a fantastic boutique hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday. We spent 4 nights at the end of our holiday in Sri Lanka and chose it as a great place to chill out. We stayed in a Sagura Suite (Ocean View)

This hotel has got to be one of the best in the area. The rooms are enormous with everything you could possible want, The setting, right on the beach is fabulous and you are away from any noise from the road

Aditya Resort is the most wonderful small hotel where the staff outnumber the guests and nothing is too much trouble for the happy smiling crew! Ramanan greeted & welcomed us personally when we made a late check-in. We received clean rooms with towels and the bathrooms had adequate water pressure & hot water supply. The AC too was in good functioning order

My friend misplaced his room key during his jet skiing trip and the owner was very understanding and simply assisted us to access the room late in the evening. We felt terrible about the inconvenience we caused him

There is also a great local bar Mirandas on the next street over and several affordable hotel restaurants nearby. A wonderful stay and great for the budget traveller, very affordable

The snorkelling just up the beach is great and you can organise snorkelling equipment or boat trips next door. The owner kindly put a fridge in our room, and we could use some other facilities to self cater

We travelled as a couple and stayed the night at this Villa. It's a well maintained budget double room ( B/B) with a clean washroom. It's walking distance to the beach. The owner and his family were nice people

Air conditioning was not needed. Large balcony on the second floor, in the evenings sat there. The hostess cooks delicious food. Beach with turtles 50 meters away. Shop with fresh fish 150 meters away

Also you can snorkel with turtles and he showed us the best spot at the beach to do that. Further the breakfast was pretty nice and also he borrowed us scuba goggles!

The host helped us organize our activities, making everything so easy and stress-free. The location is perfect for diving, right on the beach with stunning sunsets

But better to inquire more information from the owner. The villa mostly accomadates short and long term lodging to foreign nationals who seek privacy and the beach access. It's a nice place close to beach

But what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in location. A truly deserted beach, with a view of the sea from the patio interrupted by only a few palm trees and sun loungers (of which there are plenty)

This was an excellent experience! The beach offered solitude and comfort. We were able to calm and slow down after long trip. Lovely meals too! It offers opportunities for walks along the beach

Perfect bungalows for 2 adults and 2 children (10 years) - size, design, beds, patio, everything was extremely nice. Set between coconut trees on a huge piece of land right by an endless beach - spectacular

The beach is a short and charming walk through Benton’s station to the beach. Chami is a great gentleman, he enjoys a drink with you on the balcony in the evening

Honestly absolutely loved the villa,room,staff and the lovely village it is set in, Chami is the most warm welcoming host, such a nice helpful man, his staff Rathu and Shanika were both friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble for any of them, breakfast served to you outside your room on the terrace

We have stayed in Chami Villa three times now. The riooms have been improved each time they are spacious and comfortable. The a/c is very efficient, and the modern showers have good pressure and hot water

Direct access from platform of Bentota Railway Station , less than one minute walk. Beautiful house with well appointed rooms. The owner and staff and extremely helpful and full of advice if requested
