Amazing staff. I did not stay here but they helped me when I couldn't find my own hotel (the location on Google Maps was wrong). They called the other hotel for me and arranged that my hotel sends someone to get me.

The ashtray just appeared like magic, the sun loungers were moved next to our downstairs balcony area, there is no bar or restaurant on site, it's more of a homestay / hotel but done to a very high standard

THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE ONE STAR REVIEWS. Maybe some people should be respectful to the people working there and not treat these lovely kind gentle staff members like servants

Stayed at the resort with my family. Amazing resort with kind and friendly staff, very well maintained rooms and bathroom which was important to us the pool was a bonus

Air con and fan, fridge frezzer, large long double bed, cleaned to a naval standard everyday and hot water showers. Service Attentive, gentle and with quiet humility

Rooms are very clean, affordable price, they don't serve any meal so you have brought it from outside.

The dining area is placed in the first floor you have to use the stairs for getting the dining area. At a same time around 40 people can use that dining room. The service of the staff here is exceptionally good

This place is good for your functions and events. The parking and all other things are good. Mostly the reception hall and dining rooms are the best for this place

Both luxury and economic rooms are available with and without AC.. Friendly customer service Having vehicle park inside and outside the building.

The rent and price for booking this hotel and hall are reasonable. Over all the place is good fit for a middle class marriage

The beach is accessible from the hotel just a two minute walk we couldn’t bathe their due to the strong waves in August but that wasn’t an issue as you can get a tuktuk for very affordable prices or even go on a 10 minute walk to both the turtle beach and the other beach to bathe and swim in

position of the property is literally 50 meters from the beach positioned on the beach side of the road. breakfast is served every morning at your requested time toast, eggs ,juice and tea or coffee

Lovely place to stay during your time in Hikkaduwa. The place is just a few meters from the beach and the couple running this guesthouse are very friendly and made us feel welcomed right away

The rooms have both ACs and ceiling fans so great for a good cooling down after a day at the beach or just walking in the heat

Very pleasant and easy going owners. Rooms basic but a reasonable rate and just half a minutes walk to the beach. Nice fried eggs, sausages, toast, marmalade, coffee and juice breakfast for free sealed the deal for me.

The hotel is really tired and needs renovation. Boats near the beach :( ugly fence prevents you from watching the sunset. I went from Wiligama and was disappointed about beaches and surfing

The hotel is very well located. There are big waves everywhere, and the hotel has a reef and you can swim even with small children. There are plenty of ants, there are cockroaches

Breakfasts are not particularly tasty and varied. But you will definitely not go hungry. Nearby there are fish and fruit markets, banks, opposite they make very tasty juices

But the main thing is that the view from the hotel is just the bomb

Out of the way from everything and not too far away from things to do. Right next to the beach and the rooms are amazing and modern with a chillout feeling, i defo recommend it if you eant to relax

I am so happy that I stayed in this hotel. Stuff was very good, you can feel like they listen to all your wishes. If you have wishes to try local food,they will do the best

Great location- beach view Peaceful- away from city Very friendly staff. Not fully functional yet, hence not recommended for lunch/dinner. Alright for small snacks and breakfast. Does not serve alcoholic beverages yet

I visited the hotel on 15th and the service was good , food was excellent really worth for the price what i paid for. you can not expect overall hospitality service for such a low price.

We had an early flight,he couldnt arrange the breakfast as the chef was not available he arranged fruits and jucies by himself for us

The pool and pool bar is also super chill and everyone is super attentive. They also have kayaking in the adjacent lake which is free for guests of the hotel

The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, with a modern design and comfortable furniture. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay: air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi that worked perfectly

This is a family run restaurant that sits on the beach. Speciality is their jumbo prawns and lobster. These were then biggest and meatiest prawns we have ever eaten. Serves with fresh salads and rice dishes

The room was simple but charming. We loved being so close to the beach. The owner was very kind and helpful & had very good taste in furnishings. Lots of nice artworks artefacts and furniture

It is our place for Hikkaduwa. Nice designed and grant aurora. The owner Hilmi is speaking good german as well. 5 stars even for service. Good food and breakfast is fresh and tasty

But the owner, his wife, and the entire staff really do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. They also speak very good English. We had no problems checking in either

You can tell that this place used to be a luxury hotel but the management shifted over. Now theres only a couple people running it at any given time and facilities that need to be updated

It is probably the best budge AC rooms in Mirissa but you'll have to make a couple first world sacrifices. The service is really friendly and helpful and clean the rooms well

It is right at the edge of the beach. room is clean and maintained well. but it had wardrobe, towel rack, mini refrigerator, small sofa. The balcony was right in front of the ocean

But AC was leaking water all the time parking is right at the road side so safety of vehicles can't be guaranteed. Staff is not that professional. They are more focused on foreigners not much concerned about locals

Manager was accommodating even suggested other places to eat and things to do at night. Wasn't aware if any Wi-Fi was available. Rooms with fan only are very hot

Offered a driver for a very nice rate, driver was very accommodating and even stopped for us to see a turtle hatchery

The small beautifully designed resort consists of about 14 rooms consisting of a mixture of bungalows and treehouses set around a saltwater swimming pool and pretty fishpond in dense jungle, opening onto a deserted stretch of beach

We stayed in one of the tree houses and loved every minute. The pool is a great attraction as the weather can get hot and although the beach is superb and almost empty, the sea is a not great for swimming

Mixed feelings about our stay here Positives - Beautiful setting with some lovely touches - Generous and varied breakfast - Great pool and decent size to see properly - Beautiful and quiet beach, yes you can’t swim but there are bays close by that you can do Negatives - This was the most expensive of all our stays in Sri Lanka, I don’t think it justified the price tag - Room wasn’t made up everyday...

Only tiny little niggle - which would be easily remedied - the cushions on the restaurant seating and sunloungers were either missing or very uncomfortable. Please upgrade these to the same quality as everything else

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bluewater Beach resort. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and our room was spacious, very clean with Aircon and a fan

There is a Life Guard Tower on the beach but the guy seemed to be asleep most of the time so don’t bank on a quick rescue. We will definitely be coming back here to stay😀

It is a short walk to Upavelli Beach where it is safe to swim and there are numerous bars and restaurants along the beach
