Albatross Ocean View is a wonderful small hotel. The whole staff is very friendly. Food, rooms and service are also excellent. Very familiar atmosphere. The staff also offers support in planning trips in Sansibar!
This nice, relatively small and well maintained hotel offers everything you need. Enjoy the outstanding hospitality of a wonderful team and an excellent kitchen. We had a beautiful room on the second floor wiht a spacious balcony and a wonderful view of the beach and the ocean. The rooms was nice and very clean. We can just recommend this place! Nothign to critizice at all.
We stay to this hotel for two weeks in middle of July.We enjoy every minute of our stay. From the reception, to the boys and girls in restaurant, the cleaning team, the Kinando this very special Massai man, the Frank the man behind everything and of course the Samson. The general manager with solutions for everything. The hotel is on the beach, very clean , with spacious rooms. A little tired but...
Great time in this human scale hotel , with great service , and great place . We have stayed Ten Days , i was a great experience , really peacefull. The staff is really sympathic , and we had great surprise form the staff during our romantic stay.
The hotel was very beautiful with great views of the ocean. The staff was very accomadating. With low tides in the mornings we were able to walk along the beach. This a secluded beach best for couples. Our suite was ocean front with the best views of the ocean
The hotel was very good, I would definitely come back here if I visit Zanzibar again. The service and food were of very good quality, we took the all inclusive package which I would recommend when you stay here. It contains all food (a la carte) and drinks, including very nice cocktails made with fresh fruits.
The staff was exceptional. Mozes, Peter,Innocent and Benjamin took very good care of us...

We just came back from Sultan Palace in Zanzibar, and honestly, words are not enough to describe the experience – it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived late at night, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality I’ve ever experienced anywhere. A very special thank you to the manager Pradeep, to Richard who took care of us daily with endless patience, and to Abdullah, the talented...
We just spent 8 days in Zanzibar. After our initial 2 days at the North of the island, we moved to Sultan Palace for 6 days. We must admit WOW factors from beginning. The reception staff, all the restaurant staff, the housekeeping and Gardners, the beach staff and last but not least Hotel manager Mr Pradeep Kumar and his wife all deserved to be praised. The location of the hotel is excellent- so tranquil...
Beautiful hotel with very very nice people there. The view is amazing. It s calm place to enjoy and chill.
Room: We had a suite for 5 people. It had three beds. At the entrance, there was a single bed, separated by a curtain, and two double beds. The beds were very comfortable and had mosquito nets. The bathroom was huge, with two sinks, two shower heads over a shared tub, and a separate toilet. The terrace was spacious and had loungers and chairs, and a wonderful view of the sea. Food: The staff made a...
The hotel is just okay. The rooms? Okay. The location? Far from everything so if you’re planning on going out a car is needed. The service? Good. The food? Extremely salty.
A gem of a hotel. Lovely staff, fabulous rooms, beach super quiet and picturesque. We only stayed one night, to go to kendwa which I regretted. The type of place that makes you forget work, worries, problems. Will go back! 💕

Amazing place with incredible service and hospitality. Private suites with small private swimming pool directly at sea front. Incredibly nice staff which help you with all your needs and trips. Especially Sammy from the staff who was the kindest person! He made our stay very special.
A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Zanbluu
We stayed at Zanbluu Hotel for one week, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was outstanding, and our front-row bungalow with a private pool right on the beach was pure paradise. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff—they were so friendly and welcoming, and they treated my 4-year-old son with such care and kindness. We felt at home...
Quiet Luxury With Beautiful Views!!!
We spent two days at Zanbluu Hotel and loved the quiet and luxurious atmosphere. The views are picturesque, especially around the pool area, and the overall ambiance is perfect for relaxation. The food was decent, and the staff were always helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. A great place to unwind in Zanzibar.
We had the most wonderful experience. We stayed for 22 nights. Food outstanding, place absolutely stunning. Looks even better than the pictures. Rooms on the front with plunge pool and swimming pool are breathtaking and the service is second to none. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Special mention to Sammy, Charles, Samsung and Harriet. We absolutely adore you all and you couldn’t do enough for...
Absolutely fantastic place!
The room, the staff, the food, the ambience, were all just lovely.
Outside shower for the suite was a very nice touch that we truly enjoyed.
Only downside to consider is that the beach is not so accommodating for swimming especially at low tide.

The staff were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I witnessed a couple of incidents where they were spoken to in such disrespectful manners by manager and other guests.
gorgeous spacious resort beautifully designed, best in Zanzibar for a boutique hotel we have visited.quite good kitchen. Service is fine, not experienced. Front desk is quite inexperienced
Blue Moon really went above our expectations and that very much thanks to all the staff!
The resort in it self is stunning and located so you really get to relax and enjoy. The jetty was amazing and we spent a lot of time there, but everyone working from the front desk, to resturant, to managers and housekeeping was so warm and welcoming! It really made and impact!

Nice place with very nice view. It's historic at the same time modern. It's green everywhere. The pool is kinda small but ok. The view though earns 5 stars, very nice and clean beach. The staff is friendly had a great conversation with the bar tender. I also liked their food, was delicious and cocktails were not bad. I had chicken and fries and a mojito. I also had a glass of strawberry milkshake which...
Everything was clean and the grounds were nicely maintained. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was good but the portions were huge. The management and staff were very nice and kind.
I hope someone is looking out for the kitties on the property. 🐈
The reason I gave 4* was due to the cash price being very high, I don't think it justifies that rate. You could get much better value...
It's was a unique experience! The reception and the front of the hotel are the Mbweni Ruins and the rooms are at the back facing the ocean. Rooms are comfortable although there were power outages here and there for short periods of time. Staff are awesome. Friendly and very helpful. Food from breakfast to dinner was delicious. Will definitely visit this hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful stay in...
The beach was awesome with great sunsets. Had a two twin bed room that was converted to a queen by combining the beds. Room was clean enough but the tiles were an off brown that made them look not so clean. The staff is very helpful, but like most islands things just tend to be slower. The food service takes a while but I appreciated it as it seemed everything was cooked when ordered. Overall a great...
This is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in! It's beautifully situated INSIDE the ruins. The rooms are lovely and spacious - immaculately clean. The grounds are gorgeous. And above all, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - particularly manager Issa. He personally went above and beyond helping me with a special matter. Can't say enough good things. Very nice place but isolated from everything, meals and drinks very expensive (ordinary bottle of wine at 25€), we are alone on 10/02 in this hotel with 12 rooms, some hotels in the surrounding area with more people, pleasant but dirty swimming pool, direct access to the sea which depending on the tides is accessible but we do not lose our footing and the water is as warm as a bath so we do not cool...

We had a stay with mixed experiences. The beach, the ocean, and the surroundings are fantastic.
