Baan Bophut Beach Hotel Samui in Bophut

I had a wonderfull stay.
The personal pick-up felt luxurious.
The room is spacious. The coffee and tea facility is good and the included snacks are great.
The view over the ocean is fantastic. The location is peacefull and still close to fisherman village. It is nice and quiet on hotel grounds.
The pool is small but perfect for cooling down.
The sunbeds are perfect and relaxing.
The possibility of ordering your personal breakfast preference is very smart as it prevents food waste. Staff was very helpfull in getting me some yoghurt before my early pick-up and leaving some fruit in my room. I did give some small and easy to improve tips about improving breakfast, tv-options and not having to wash the towels every day. .

We spent three weeks at Baan Bophut Beach Hotel in Feb/March 2026 and it was idyllic.

The hotel is located at the quieter and classier end of Fisherman’s Village, yet its a very short walk from everything that the ‘Village’ has to offer (tip: there are some lovely restaurants at this end of ‘the street’ that most people miss).

It’s truly a boutique hotel (just a few rooms). It’s peaceful and relaxed, but still close to restaurants, shops and bars.

All rooms face the sea so views are priceless: the rooms and breakfast area look out over a neat lawn to the beach and sea beyond.

The property is on the nicest part of the beach and has comfy loungers and umbrellas. A local fishing family moors their boats right outside the hotel, which adds a wonderfully authentic and local feel to the setting.

The rooms are modern and very well equipped. I’ve rarely slept in a more comfortable bed! The minibar (water, soft drinks, beer, snacks) is replenished every day along with a plentiful supply of soft bath towels and beach towels. All bathroom amenities are good quality.

Breakfast is served in a slightly unusual way, as it needs to be pre-ordered the day before. At first we found this a little odd, but it means the team prepares exactly what you want, and it can be served in your room or in the breakfast area overlooking the pool and the beach—both are lovely options to start the day.

The small team of staff are lovely and genuinely cannot do enough for you.

We experienced just one small issue in our three weeks here but it was handled so swiftly and professionally that it became a positive rather than a negative experience.

Stayed here 8 Nights and it was all perfect. Shy and all the staff take really good care of you. You have a direct what's app contact to her how cool is that? Each day you can order your breakfast and it gets if you want direct served on your balcony. That's a five star experience!!! The apartment is very clean and have a lot of amenities. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is amazing. On the beach you have a lot of free sunbeds and a little pool. You can see that the whole staff is all day working to improve the facilities. You have as well a small Restaurants which serve some good food till 3 pm. In both rooms we had the minibar got refilled each day with drinks and snacks. You have as well enough fresh drinking water per day so no need to buy it. You can reach as well a lot of restaurants and bars per walking distance.I forgot my charger as we left and Shy was so nice to send it to me via parcel which is super nice from here. I definitely to book your stay here! We enjoyed it really much!

Absolutely nothing but 5 stars! I was so impressed with our stay. The staff are delightful, the rooms are outstanding… really comfortable sofa, huge TV, comfy bed, lovely bathroom and a million dollar view. The mini bar is topped up for free daily and the breakfast delivered daily at your preferred time is just great service. There is also a fantastic gym next door included in the stay. Loved it so much we already booked for next year

We stayed for 10 days at the beginning of July in the premier penthouse and could not fault this Jem . Having holidayed on Samui for many years and having stayed in a few lovely places , this place was one of the best we have stayed in . Its at the quieter end of the street but only a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants , staff were friendly , breakfast good , loved it so much we have booked a stay for next year already

Very nice newly renovated hotel. Big, spacy apartments with a nice balcony or garden. The views are great and it is relatively quiet. The pool area is small but sufficient. The breakfast is quite ok, but rather cold when served. We tried three dishes in the restaurant, and have to say that the hotel needs a new chef.

At the beginning of July 2025, we spent 5 days at Baan Bophut Beach Hotel, staying in Apartment No. 1 (Beach). We are extremely satisfied with our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the apartment furnishings are completely new, of very high quality, and beautifully designed. The view from the room is simply stunning—directly overlooking the beach and palm trees. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the hotel’s location is excellent—just a few steps away from Fisherman’s Village. There is also a swimming pool and a gym available on-site. We felt wonderful here and are happy to give this place the highest possible rating.

We have just spent the most relaxing 3 nights at the Baan Bophut beach hotel. The hotel is in a perfect position right in the heart of Fishermans village so everything you require is in walking distance. We stayed in the Penthouse Studio suite which is on the 3rd floor and has great views over the bay. The room itself is very spacious with nice bathroom and a mini refrigerator which is restocked daily. The best part of the stay was meeting the wonderful staff who helped make the time spent here most enjoyable, a special shout out to Moo, Moi and Shy who were some of the friendliest and nicest people we have met on our travels. We are already planning a trip back to this hotel next year.

This hotel was amazing and is Bophuts best kept secret The view was breathtaking and the recently renovated rooms were well appointed, luxurious and stylish. We stayed in the two bedroom self contained beach unit. Another bonus was the free use of the newly appointed gym which has new equipment and is airconditioned. The hotel is situated at the end of Fishermans Village and offers a very peaceful stay with all major restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and would rate it one of the best rooms (with a view) that we have ever stayed in. Make sure you visit Mr Tao's cockail combi van at the end of the street. Do yourself a favour and book today !!!!!
