Peach Blossom Resort & Pool Villa - SHA Plus in Karon

I don’t recommend this hotel. For the below reasons:

Pros:
Location (~10 min walk to kata beach and ~6 min walk to Karon beach)

Cons:
Service (the front desk staff was upset and not smiling and they don’t give new towels after cleaning the rooms)
Cleanines (they don’t change the bed sheets they olny organize it)
Room (it wasn’t sound vs proof and the curtain wasn’t blocking the sun light at all) so basically you won’t have a good night sleep
The telephone in room wasn’t working properly
Before the check out they will start spamming calls and knocking on your door and waiting outside

I am writing to detail several significant issues that severely impacted our recent stay, transforming what should have been a pleasant experience into a profoundly disappointing one.

Our concerns began even before check-in. While waiting, we observed another guest reporting a clogged drain in their room. The concierge’s response was unprofessional and delivered with a distinct tone of hostility, an immediate red flag regarding staff conduct.

This pattern continued during our own check-in. We were abruptly informed of a required 3,000 Baht deposit. The demand was communicated not as standard policy, but with an accusatory and hostile tone, as if we were anticipated to cause damage. When I politely inquired where this policy was stated, the staff member responded with clear dissatisfaction and sarcasm, claiming, “It’s stated everywhere on the website!” A simple, courteous explanation would have sufficed.

Although we received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, the room’s condition was unacceptable and horrifically unclean. Specific problems included:

· Sand and debris in the corners of the floor around the room.
· Sticky residue on the floors and cup/bottle stains on the tables.
· A pair of used contact lenses left on an overhead board.
· Spider webs on the ceiling and within ceiling fixtures.
· Clear signs of neglect and need for refurbishment: peeling paint on the bottom of the door, a malfunctioning shower, and overall severe wear and tear.

This combination of consistently rude service and a shockingly unclean, poorly maintained room made our stay deeply unpleasant. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Peach Groups hotels and will be advising others to avoid them.
