Had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff especially P’Ning is so approachable and helpful. She’s so lively and even let us check in earlier than the usual check in time. The room is big enough for the two of us. Housekeeping service is also great since they really do change the sheets and pillowcases, unlike some other hotels that don’t.

We’re planning to book our stay there again soon! Hopefully the wifi connection is better now compared last time ❤️

We originally booked an extra-large room for three, but were pleasantly surprised when the hotel automatically upgraded us to a spacious family two-bedroom suite. The reception staff Ning was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The location is also a major plus — just a short walk from the walking street, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and convenience.

Stayed at Anchor Hotel, Phuket and had an excellent experience. Rooms were spotless, staff were polite and helpful, and the location was super convenient. Great value for money. Highly recommend for families, couples, or solo travellers.

Honestly, I don't understand the negative comments.

I came by spontaneously because my old hotel was already full, and the lady was really nice. She showed me three rooms and gave me a good price.

I'm pretty happy with the room.
The shower is modern, there's a safe in the room and a small couch.
The air conditioning works, too.
The window opens wide and is perfect for smoking.

For the price that I got, it’s totally worth it. Got free upgrade to family room. Nice and friendly staff. The room was so so but I get what I paid for so no complaint here. You can smoke at the balcony so a plus point here. 10 mins walking distance to the beach and 15 mins to Bangla Road. Still walkable and im okay with that. One more its near to 7e, Tops, laundry and a bar. Will repeat it if come again. 😊

0/5 - Extremely Disappointing Experience

I strongly advise against staying at Anchor Boutique House in Phuket. Our experience was appalling, and we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

We booked a room from December 22nd to 25th, paying 7000 bahts in advance. After a grueling 16-hour drive from Bangkok, we arrived early morning, only to be met with a hotel that fell far short of our expectations.

The rooms were tiny and dirty, with stained blankets that didn't match the pictures online. The staff was uncooperative and unwelcoming, failing to offer seating for our group of five. We were left standing outside for over an hour.

When we requested a refund, citing the hotel's failure to meet our expectations, we were told that it wasn't possible due to a "third-party" booking through (link unavailable) This excuse felt like a blatant attempt to deflect responsibility.

We promptly found alternative accommodations and left Anchor Boutique House behind. Our experience was a disaster, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they drastically improve their services.

Save your money and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Anchor Boutique Hotel has its pros: it’s in a nice locality, close to everything, with a 7/11 just around the corner. The staff were polite and helpful, which was a plus.

However, my experience fell short of expectations. Based on the reviews, I assumed much more, but my room had several issues—a broken AC that leaked water (though it was eventually fixed), a broken safety box, and balcony windows that didn’t latch. While it wasn’t a nightmare, the lack of maintenance made me want to move out desperately. Don’t fall for the reviews like I did—it’s convenient, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is not luxurious but it has a very good location to go to the beach walking, the 7/11 is less than a minute away and there are several food stalls around, bars and an outdoor terrace for your comfort, smokers, etc! The room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom should be improved a little and put soap every day or have a container for soap. In the bathroom I recommend wearing sandals! The cleaning is good. You can walk barefoot in the room. Everything is acceptable understanding that it is a beach area and there is always sand everywhere. Putting a full-length mirror would be great! In general, the room is fine, it does its job and also has air conditioning. It is not a luxury hotel but it is fine for what you need. Hot water, a comfortable bed and a spacious room with air. (everything is super safe) The girls at reception are friendly
