Norn Talay Surin Beach Phuket Hotel in Surin

My husband and I stayed for two nights in February 2026. We were on the 4th floor and had a magnificent view and a superb location. The rooms felt fresh, clearly recently renovated. Everything was very tidy and clean.

The breakfast was decent, offering omelets, fried eggs, noodles, salads, fruits, and more. The only drawback was that the breakfast room itself lacked a view and windows, which felt a bit out of place for such a hotel. It would have been much better if it were on the rooftop near the pool. ☀️

There was delicious coffee and tea available in the lobby. The Tiffany blue beach towels were fantastic.

Overall, the hotel left us with the best impressions. We rented a motorbike right next to the hotel at a cheaper price than we paid in Bang Tao. We zipped off to 7/11 for snacks; it was about a 10-minute walk.

Surin Beach is the best! You just walk down 20 steps from the hotel to get there.

Beyond amazing. Such a beautiful place for stay with beautiful sea view. A but far from centre but that’s the main reason. I would like to have a visit again ine day. Very helpful staff, good amenities and love the ambiance. I would recommend this resort for everyone.

I stayed here before in the past... The standards and amenities have dropped a lot since then, I won't blame the staff, it is clearly higher ups.. Example an outside restaurant they use to have with great meals throughout the day, is now breakfast only, with mediocre food at best, there isn't even a change in the choices.. One pool is missing, the rooftop pool is dirty, laundry is advertised as same day if before 10am.. Only to be recieved the following day around 6pm..

The view from the rooms is an absolute stunning view.. That's the end of the positives.

I was hesitant to book this place because of the many negative reviews, but honestly, when I arrived, I found the room quite amusing. The location was perfect—Surin Beach is the best beach in Phuket (this was my third time visiting).

While the hotel could definitely use some renovations—the shower was old and a bit rustic—the view from the bathroom was absolutely stunning. If you’re looking for an ocean view, with the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep and gently waking you up, this is definitely the place. I also experienced the best sunset here, which made the stay even more memorable.

The breakfast was average, so I’d recommend skipping it and trying the fantastic local restaurant right on the beach instead. They have a huge menu with plenty of options to choose from.

Tips: try to message the hotel to ask for a room on lvl 3 or 4, we got lucky and got the room on the 4th fl.

One word: Exceptional!

Very relaxing place! Seeing the sea and hearing the waves are the pinnacle of having an exquisite vacation. A short walk away is a relatively quiet beach. Highly recommended!

Incredible views of surin beach, basic rooms, and a decent breakfast. You should rent a motorbike because walking into town is a bit unrealistic.

No lunch or dinner on premises. Choose to stay here for the waterfront views and beach access. Staff is friendly.
