Next time i will booked this hotel again
The slow check-in process and service, the small pool, and outdated facilities are minor issues. To be fair, the hotel looks grand, and for an older star-rated hotel in that location, a room in the $300-$400 range might seem reasonable.
However, after checking in, everything seemed normal during the day. But when I returned at night, I found dozens of bugs, not just one or two, but dozens, all over the desk and TV cabinet! They were crawling on my laptop, my mechanical keyboard, and my charger. Such a high concentration in two separate areas indicates that this wasn't a case of a guest leaving a rotten fruit or a recent infestation; it proves that the room's hygiene standards are consistently subpar. I was so horrified that I gathered all my clothes onto the bed, took a video, and went to the front desk to deal with it. The front desk staff saw my phone video, but it was only after I suggested changing rooms that they even considered it. They told me to go back to my room, pack my belongings, call them, and then they would arrange for new key cards.
I called them as soon as I got back to the room. After another 5-6 minutes, I called again. I can't remember if I made a third call, but it took at least 10 minutes for someone to finally come and handle the situation. The new room was indeed a suite on a different floor, but I was so disgusted that I didn't dare put any of my belongings in my suitcase and spent a long time dealing with it myself. It was only after I messaged Trip.com customer service to complain, and Trip.com contacted the hotel, that a manager finally came over. The solution they offered was a free breakfast and a few hours' late check-out. I refused. I wanted to expose this situation truthfully. I checked out on time this afternoon and moved to another hotel. I hadn't even planned on writing such a long review, but then I just discovered that my mechanical keyboard, likely due to the bugs, has short-circuited. It lights up when plugged into USB, but within a minute, almost all keys stop working or start randomly typing. This is very likely due to a bug dying inside or its excrement causing an internal short circuit. A full-keyboard short circuit means it's beyond repair.
In summary, for a large hotel, every step – hygiene and safety, service speed, and their handling of the situation – was completely wrong. What's done is done. I can accept the loss of a keyboard; I just hope my Lenovo Y7000 gaming laptop hasn't also been damaged!!!
