The room was quite old and very dated furniture. The hallway and elevator has no AC. Very hot and old hotel. All dark. No washing machine. No facilities available. Renovation. At night sounds of musŵic is very loud. Sometimes if you press wrong floor to 9th or something the whole floor is like disaster like ******* hotel and place. Its like one of the oldest dated hotel ive ever stayed. Only the location was an advantage to me

This is a very good choice for taking a walk to Ploenchit zone, or even take sky train to other places. Additional to that, it is nearby Velaa which has choices of food and even supermarket. Overall room setup is good and cozy. Recommended.

I stayed at this hotel twice. The 1st time, they gave me a nice room with a nice view. There were only two things that upset me a little: the shower temperature wasn't good and there were parties on the 1st floor, but my floor was quite. So I was fine with it, because view and location were nice.
But the second time, they gave me a different room, without a nice view and with cockroaches😩
And the shower temperature was still abnormal. So the problem is not just with the room, but with the entire hotel. They need to fix the water heater system and get rid of the cockroaches.

I was super happy with The Duchess Hotel even if the gym and restaurant is not available during my stay.

This hotel truly became my home away from home during my stay of more than two weeks. The room (1706) is beautifully designed and very comfortable, with a spacious kitchen, living, and dining area combined, plus a lovely bedroom and a very nice bathroom. It has everything you need for a long and relaxing stay. The location is also very close to Lumphini Park and we’re able to walk every morning, One Bangkok Mall and Dusit Central Park.

The space, comfort, and overall atmosphere made my time here in Thailand extremely enjoyable. We were able to cook noodles and other short meals. Staying here felt easy, convenient, and very welcoming.

I will definitely come back to this hotel on my next trips to Thailand. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, space, and a place that truly feels like home.

The front desk staff were all very friendly and cheerful. Our corner deluxe suite was spacious and bright, truly an ideal haven to return to after exploring the city all day. Since there was no breakfast service, we made our own simple breakfast in the room – eggs, fruit, and bread bought from a nearby supermarket. The suite had a full set of kitchenware. The only slight downside was that the swimming pool was under renovation.

This hotel is pretty good. However, the pool is currently under renovation and won't be accessible, but the hotel does inform you of this before check-in. Also, there's a bar on the first floor, so if your room is on a lower floor, it might get noisy. I'd recommend requesting a higher floor. The suites come with a kitchen, a washing machine, and a fridge. The complimentary bottled water is located in the bottom section of the fridge. The washing machine comes with detergent already in it; just turn the dial four clicks to the right for a quick 30-minute wash. For room services, like the towel elephant, you need to request it in advance, ideally by sending an email before check-in (whether to tip or not is up to you).

It was a nice stay overall! The room comes equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay! During the night a club opens by the elevators if you’re up for a party. The sound from the party doesn’t come into the rooms at all and the rooms were very quiet.
