A 5 stars hotel with beautiful swimming pool and fine dining, good service by the staffs
Check in during new year, little bit expensive in festival
The water pressure in the room was very low, and hot water took ages to come out. My husband joked that the water must have come straight from the Chao Phraya River.
The air conditioning in the room was faulty; it was so cold it could make you sick. A technician had to come and fix it.
Service – aside from a few attentive waiters at the Italian restaurant/buffet, the service everywhere else, including the front desk and even manager-level staff, was subpar. It felt nothing like a 5-star hotel.
The bathrobe in the room was terrible (very old) and there was only one.
Because the room was so cold I caught a cold, I asked the front desk if I could get some ginger tea. At first, they said no, which felt like a ridiculous joke. I then asked, "Does such a large hotel not even have a few slices of ginger?" Only then did they eventually send up a pot of water with a few pieces of ginger.
On the fourth day, when checking out, I mentioned at the front desk that the room was so cold it made me sick. The DM-level manager only politely asked if I had gone to the hospital. Is it really that easy for a guest unfamiliar with the area, in a foreign country, to just go to the hospital?
Paying over a thousand RMB per night for a hotel like this is just unbelievable. So, I urge everyone not to make the same mistake.
I would also like to commend the front desk team for their impeccable service. They were warm, attentive, and efficient, making check-in and any inquiries smooth and pleasant. Their professionalism and friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived.
Additionally, the room service team deserves recognition for their promptness and quality of service. Orders were delivered quickly, the staff were courteous, and the food arrived neatly presented and at the right temperature.
Please convey my thanks to the teams involved for their outstanding work. Their dedication and high standards of service made my stay exceptionally enjoyable.
My girl super love it. But one thing we don't like is the swimming pool ... Very cool ... Kids cannot swim
As a professional fighter and movie actor, I've had my fair share of hotel experiences, but the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Bangkok blew me away! I want to give a massive shoutout to the incredible staff for making my wife’s birthday and our special occasion truly epic.
From the moment we checked in, the professionalism was top-notch. They surprised us with a fantastic birthday cake and a personal birthday card that really made my wife feel special. Plus, their recommendations for the hottest nightlife spots in Bangkok were absolutely on point—definitely the kind of energy you want when you're out on the town!
And let me tell you about the 24/7 fitness room! It’s got a killer vibe with the best music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s pumping through the speakers. I could work out there all day!
