I stayed at this hostel for a short time and overall had a decent experience, especially considering the price. The biggest advantage is definitely the location - it’s very convenient and makes getting around the city easy. The hostel provides towels, which is a nice bonus, and the women’s showers have hair dryers available. The beds are quite comfortable for a hostel, and I really appreciated that each bed has its own locker for personal belongings. Breakfast is very simple, but for the price, it’s acceptable and does the job.

There are a few downsides worth mentioning. You can see that the staff tries to clean regularly, but because of the number of guests, common areas and bathrooms sometimes still felt a bit dirty. In the women’s showers, the water doesn’t drain well, which can be uncomfortable. There is a coffee machine available, but unfortunately it seems like it hasn’t been cleaned properly for a long time - the coffee smelled bad and was basically undrinkable.

Overall, it’s a reasonable option if location and budget are your priorities.

Cons: The staircase layout is very inconvenient for those with physical disabilities, the bathroom gets dirty in the evenings, and the shower lacks a shelf, the room is very cold, and guests and staff open the window at night, allowing mosquitoes and street noise in. Pros: Central location, good breakfasts, clean linens, good water pressure in the bathroom, price commensurate with the quality, free breakfast, and location.

Spacious room. Friendly staff from the kitchen to the reception. Healthy breakfast everyday. Neighbor is a good restaurant that is very popular to both locals and foreigners. Most guests are foreigners. Ambience is quiet despite that it is always full.

People are friendly. Environment is quiet. Location is accessible. I love it inside the Chiang mai gate , the old city. Enjoy to explore more in future.

Perfect chill hostel. Staff were great, super clean rooms. Shared dorm was great for 3 nights then changed to private room for 4 and it was so nice! Coffee and breakfast was a great bonus too as well as good common areas and water bottles

Stayed here for a night and honestly have nothing bad to say. The bathtub, the mountain view, the staff, the breakfast, the restaurant—everything was perfect. The place is pure aesthetic and peace. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Breakfast is basic. Bed is not too bad. There’s a cafe next to it and the food is quite good.

This hostel is located in the old city, and the location is great. There's a nice cafe next door. I booked a private room on the third floor, and a kind foreign guest helped me with my luggage. The room was decent, with basic facilities, and it was cleaned daily. Hostels are all about the vibe, and this one has it. The common areas are bustling with travelers from all over the world, chatting and laughing. They offer free drinking water, the front desk staff are friendly, there's a washing machine, and even free yoga classes. Many people stay here for extended periods. All in all, it's a nice hostel.

Cheap, clean and large private room. Shared bathroom facilities are very clean. Helpful owners. Thank you!

Terrible dirty rooms, dirty towels, cockroaches everywhere, uneducated staff. I am very disappointed, do not recommend. It was the worst hotel I didn't even want to stay in.

Did not stay here but called in for a breakfast. Omelette with rice and a coffee, food good, quick service and less than 100Bhat. Can't knock that.

Nice place, very affordable.
A couple 100m from the night food market and at the north gate, so 5 stars for location.
Rooms have A/C, are clean and have curtains. Be careful when booking, they have both fan only and A/C rooms. Shared showers and sinks so unlikely you'll have to wait (you can get to another floor of needed). So 5 stars.
Service is a 4 stars mostly because the owners aren't really good at English so it was hard to communicate. But they were nice and helpful.

Considering the price and the fact that there's a restaurant there so you can have a tea or breakfast it's a 5 start overall.

Not a bad location from the main square but a bit further from the decent bars etc. we had a private room and our friends had a dorm, both were really cheap and fairly basic, our private had clearly previously been a dorm room as there were still posters about not changing beds and random plug sockets scattered around where the bunks would have been and the bed was pretty average. The rest of the hostel wasn’t bad though
