A slightly old hotel with services that are suitable for the Accor group. Fast check-in, spacious room, many breakfast options, clean swimming pool. Bathroom with enough hot water, cold air conditioner. The disadvantage is that the location is a bit far from everywhere. Breakfast has many choices and the taste is quite good

The room was quite old, and the curtains were so worn that they could not block out the light properly. At night, light was still coming through, making it difficult to sleep.

Excellent location: It's only a 180 baht taxi ride from Chiang Mai Airport and about a ten-minute walk to the Old City. There's a supermarket just to the right when you exit, and a fresh market about 150 meters straight ahead to the left, which is great for buying fruit.

Room and Dining: The bed is spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast is very average with nothing remarkable.

Service Bonus: The staff, especially the bellhop, provided excellent service. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the market and shopping mall, saving you taxi fare for one trip.

The hotel has a good location, right next to a show venue. It's a large hotel with a swimming pool, and the rooms and beds are spacious. The decor is a bit dated, so the facilities are showing their age a little. Breakfast was very good.

They said the towel was stained and charged 500 Thai Bhats (approx. USD 16) for a piece of towel that looked like it’s been in service for half a century. I have no issue paying a fair value of a towel for staining it. In this case, the fair value is clearly less than a dollar and they charged USD 16. It’s been nearly 2 months and I just felt that other people should know about this hotel so that they can make an informed decision when making a reservation. As for me, this hotel comes to my mind as the top of this list of hotels to avoid.

Average hotel. It’s very old in terms of its furnishing and set up but still functional. That said, for its price, it’s still acceptable. Location wise, if you want something away from the hustle and bustle of the congested old city, this is a good option to consider.

What was not acceptable was the cleanliness and service provided - some towels were stained and when we asked for replacements, it took ages to come. Housekeeping on the phone was also not helpful and very critical - hinting that we were asking for more towels than we required.

There was even a baby cockroach running around our bathroom toilet on one of the nights when we got back.

The hotel has a great location; it's a 15-minute drive from the airport and about a 10-minute walk to the old town, with a market nearby. The breakfast spread was plentiful. However, the interior facilities are quite old and show their age.

However, the hotel itself isn't new; the in-room facilities are a bit old, the fridge was really loud, and the soundproofing was pretty poor. Breakfast was also quite uninspired. The location is an acceptable distance from the ancient town.
