B2 Mountain Pano Residence Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai City

The room was spacious and could be suitable for families or longer stays. However, I wouldn’t return.

Despite the positive aspect of room size, there were several issues that made my stay uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness and condition of the building left a lot to be desired. While the bedsheets were clean, the room felt run-down—windows and walls were stained, and I noticed hair on the floor. It seems like the property could use more housekeeping staff and some maintenance work.

Hospitality was also lacking. The front desk staff came across as cold, and the reception area looked dirty and disorganized. One particularly frustrating policy was having to wait for a room inspection before getting my passport deposit back at checkout. It felt unnecessary and even a bit insulting—as if guests can’t be trusted. Management should seriously reconsider whether this kind of approach is worth keeping.

As for the location, it’s quite isolated. Within walking distance, there’s only one coffee shop and a gym. The nearest 7-Eleven and main road are about five minutes away, with only basic amenities available.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are far better options in Old Town that offer cleaner rooms, better service, and a more convenient location.

Do they pay people for good reviews? This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The view and layout are the only good things about it. It’s extremely old and damp, and the walls are so thin I can even hear noises from two rooms away.

The air con is very loud sounds like a jet engine even on the lowest setting

No cutlery is provided, there’s one pan and 2 plates and a bowl

Location is ok, down a side alley with nearby lotus

Room is very VERY dusty you can see it everywhere

I booked for three nights in this hotel, but after one night I left to find somewhere else , they did not refund the remaining nights so my advice would be if you booked this hotel book one night first and then if you like it book the remaining.
