This hotel is located in Nimman Road, a prime area of Chiang Mai, surrounded by many artistic boutiques, coffee shops, and the famous Nimman One – truly a top-notch location! It's a small boutique hotel, and due to its limited space, there's no view from the room window, but the room itself is still very comfortable
The room was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were amazing (honestly some of the best sleep we’ve had). The location is perfect, right in the heart of Nimman, making it easy to walk everywhere
Extraordinary service, very convenient location, like the rooftop pool bar, relax and watch sunset and the lively city underneath.
The location is strategic yet peaceful, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays
Great location, great room, pool is small, breakfast is good.
The hotel has a great atmosphere and a really stylish design. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It's also great value for money. Definitely a recommended hotel!

This hotel is very clean and it's located very strategically close to everything you want! I had the window room and they said the road noise was loud but to me it's aceptable and I can sleep like a baby still
This hotel is ideally located near the North Gate of the Old City, very close to the night market, and not far from Tha Phae Gate. The hotel offers complimentary coffee and snacks from morning to afternoon
This hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City, right by the moat. It's a charming and comfortable place
Perfect location to investigate old city
The lobby downstairs doubles as a cafe, offering complimentary snacks and coffee!
The room itself is on the smaller side, but very cozy. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy since it's facing the street
The room was great and cozy, i specifically enjoyed the temperature of water in the shower since not every hotel has a consistent hot water. The lounge zone on the first floor is super nice and snacks as well

The hotel is in a residential area not far from the ancient city, with a very good and quiet environment. The overall style is unique Lanna style. There are restaurants and cafes outside the road (3-5 minutes)
There is also a market where locals go, which is very convenient for eating and buying fruits. The hotel has free buses to Changkang Road Night Market and Thapae Gate, which are convenient with time points
The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, and they will say hello when they meet. The security brother always takes pictures of my car when I go out, and I feel safe
The breakfast is also very rich. I stayed for 3 days and the food was not repeated. Before leaving on the last day, the boss came to say hello
I arrived at the hotel in advance, and the front desk had a room and let me check in first. The room lady also cleaned the room very cleanly
Antique hotel with nice decoration. 4 meters depth which suits me a lot. Usually there are shades and enough couch to relax by the pool. Rooms at 2/F have better views and more privacy than those on the G/F

A clean trendy hotel with great service fabulous linens, attentive and friendly staff located in a great nieghborhood. Awesome A.C.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I personally highly recommend it. Firstly, it's very close to the train station, and it's super convenient for getting around the city and reaching various attractions
Super hotel in a great location, I’ll definitely be back. Recommended!
What's even better is that besides convenience stores nearby, the hotel's breakfast is absolutely delicious and diverse. I highly recommend it to everyone!
When we arrived, we were greeted by Ms IMM and she is so helpful and friendly to checkin for us. The hotel is beautiful and a good location. All the staffs are so polite and helpful
Amazing location too! In walking distance of all the temples!

The location was a bit off, but everything else was great. The best part was that there were no mosquitoes and it was very quiet.
The hotel is comfortable but the location is not that ideal if your travel itineraries are focused at the old city.
Nice hotel, good location in chiang mai
there is a parking space
room is nice
Just for sleep.,, nothing much to explore. Bypass side hotel located. For 500 meters to convenience store and flea market. Offsite swimming pool attached with cafe.
Amazing hotel , great staff who helped us out when trip ignored my two day booking and only booked one day. ) They moved all our belongings to another room for us and where so friendly
The hotel have everything you need. Lots of parking space and near by 7/11. They have a restaurant and the pool in same area that you can chill. Worth the money.

The hotel's location is pretty good. Even though it's not directly in the Old City, all the day tours offer pickup and drop-off, so it doesn't feel out of the way. It's also not far from Central Plaza
This hotel is nice and convenient for short stays in Chiangmai. We usually stay here when we are in and out of Chiangmai Airport. There's a McDonald's with drive-thru right next door.
While the location isn’t right in the town center, we actually appreciated the quieter environment. Plus, there’s a 24-hour McDonald’s just next door, which was super convenient
It was a good hotel, cleaning staff was very friendly. However location is not that good.
Location is right next to a MacDonald's but apart from that, you can't really go anyway on foot. We rented a car so it was ok for us. Oh breakfast was very decent too
Hotel is near to the airport and had everything we need for a night's stay: comfortable room, free flow coffee at the reception area, great service staff, good breakfast with varied choices of food, and complimentary ride to the airport

The girls at the front, Newu and Sweetie were amazing, felt so welcome. Loved the rooms, the pool….location, it was perfect for us
The hotel and the service were phenomenal. The location is a little out of the way but the fabulous restaurant across the street makes up for that, a little bit. If you like quiet this hotel is for you
The location is also very strategic, near all the hot spots in Chiang Mai
Really lovely staff, nice hotel, a little far from activities but nice enough.
Comfortable bed and big bathroom. Rooms 101 - 109 are below the level of the overflow pool which creates a very soothing sound at night. Don't book any of those rooms during rainy season
Payed for a swim up room but this was the water impossible to get in that water everything else was spot on

Strategic location. I took a pic from my balcony’s room and i can see city view of chiang mai. Love it!
This hotel is very affordable for my 3 nights stay in Chiang Mai. I like the location as there's a nearby 7 Eleven, walking distance to night market & Phae Gate. Easy to pin location on your e-hailing service apps
It's located on a street with a few bars, and there are one or two money changers nearby with pretty good exchange rates
The beds are average, and the privacy curtains aren't very effective, and the quality isn't great either. On the upside, all the dining options are really good!
The common areas are spacious and quite good. However, the bathrooms are a bit subpar, with very basic, unfinished decor
The hotel is about 700m from the old city. The room was quite spacious and the air conditioning was nice and cold

A very good hotel in a quiet location of Chiang Mai, so we could get our sleep after busy Bangkok. Nice Thai style swimming pool, which is cold but it's good after a hot day out to cool down
Excellent hotel, conveniently located, polite staff
Thank you, I'll be back again!!!!!)
however, with help of the hotel manager, khun Att, and her devoted staff (receptionists, housekeeping and engineers), i had my problems with the hot water in the shower fixed in less than 2 hours while i was out of the room anyway, and it was right before my planned checkout
Unfortunately, global warming was not too kind 😬 even so, the workers were steadfast in preparing rescue for us and evacuating us as best as they can. If you're in Chiang Mai with your family, please give them a try
This hotel is very good for families, and those who rent cars. I came with my family of 5 pax and we booked the family + friends room (fitting 6 pax). Hospitality of the staff working there was so commendable
The price is not expensive. The facilities are complete. You can continue your trip and relax. The hot chocolate is delicious. The little one likes it very much. 🥰🥰

Great place to stay with an amazing, friendly and helpful staff. We love it and keep up the good works. The hotel located in a great location, close to the Maya mall ,local food market etc
Good location with 15min walk to Nimman restaurants and nightlife. Easy access for rides in any direction. Only complaint would be the noise other cyclists make when leaving for those early morning rides
Accomodation, friendly , location, service , for who enjoy bicycle this is the right place in Chiang Mai
Amazing street food scene!!!Definitely be back to stay again for our cycling holiday with our bikes next time!!! Thank you again Vanilla residence Team🙏🏼
Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, rooms are big and functional and you have DIY area for your bike as well as a proper bike cleaning facility
enjoy with friends for trips around Chiang Mai , from Vanilla place easy to connect with all routes that can bring you on amazing place

The room was incredibly comfortable, with a lovely antique charm and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally warm and polite. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for dining and shopping.
Great location, but the facilities are a bit dated. The pool, however, was very clean.
Due to high season, we had to switch rooms mid-stay to an Executive King, which was quite spacious. It had a large bathtub on one half of the balcony. The room was in a corner, so the window view wasn't great
The room was surprisingly clean and spacious. We received complimentary breakfast with our stay, but only tried it once during our three days as there are so many better food options to explore in Thailand
There were ants in several spots in the room; staff promptly took care of it, but new ants appeared again shortly after. If you don't need a bathtub, I'd recommend the Deluxe room instead
Near to One Ninman and Maya Shopping Mall. Eateries within walking distance all around. Easy to walk to various night markets. Scenic hotel premises.

We purchased morning breakfasts when we booked which we both felt was really good. Also worth mentioning that it's in a great location with easy access to a ton of fun stuff
Location is excellent, we stayed over the weekend, so both Saturday and Sunday night markets were within walking distance of the hotel
As others have mentioned, in this time of yr the sun doesn’t hit the pool. Who knows about other months. Certainly not a deal breaker. We were extremely pleased with this property. Thank you to staff and management
Very quiet at night, safe neighbourhood. Both western and Asian style available. Remember you are at a Smaller boutique hotel, not a huge chain. Limited space to store clothes so ours remained in the suitcase
Room on 2nd floor accessible by stairs or elevator. Good water temperature and pressure. The bed in my opinion was one of the more comfortable ones I’ve slept in. Way better than Le Meridien in Chiang Rai
The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. The staff took very good care of me. This is my second time in Chiang Mai, but my first time staying here. This hotel is the best I've ever experienced

Quiet, peaceful, great location, safe, friendly kind staff, perfect for Chaing Mai 🇨🇷🙏😊
Grand Old Hotel in Chiang Mai – Faded Glory Needs MaintenanceThis hotel must have been incredibly grand in its heyday
Fairly decent location with old city and markets very much in walking distance. Not sure how well gym and pool were maintained but was fine for price point and fact its holiday season. Fairly satisfied.
Great location, very quiet and peaceful, adequate breakfast, friendly staff, will be my go-to hotel in Chiang mai
Excellent location, the hotel is clean but needs a lot of repairs: main door not closing well, cracks in walls, loose window on the shower. Shower was also just warm, not hot
The room is big and clean. But, the corridor smell is not very good! The location is very good! Many shops and restaurants near by.

Finally, beware of aggressive dogs to the right of the hotel (if your back is to the hotel) - if you're going that way in the evening I'd advise you be going at a decent speed on the scooter as one of the dogs tried to bite my girlfriend's foot as we rode past
The views from the upper floors are fantastic, with Doi Suthep to the west. It's also very close to shopping centers, and you can easily stroll to Nimman Road, then do a Citywalk at Chiang Mai University
On the third day, the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to use the stairs. Breakfast options are limited and repetitive, so if you’re looking for variety, this may not be the best choice
Great location that is walkable to the conference center.
Breakfast buffet was great! Comfortable, clean room!
Service and communication were okay. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re after peace and mountain views, but there’s definitely room for improvement
A taxi to the Old City costs only around 20 yuan, and a walk around the moat is just over 6 kilometers

The hotel was superclean, all staff members were friendly and polige, excellent location in the heart of the old town!!👌 Breakfast was fine, 4 different sets to choose from!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always polite and helpful. The hotel is well located, close to the main attractions
Great stay at The Experience Walking Street Chiang Mai! The location is perfect, close to the Old City, Tha Phae Gate, and the night market. The room was spacious and very comfortable
However, the building feels quite worn and not well maintained, which made the overall atmosphere less comfortable
The staff were polite, friendly, and approachable. The room was clean and well-equipped with all amenities. The water pressure was good. The location is close to tourist attractions.
Location is good, nearby have lot of good food. Only thing is that the hotel breakfast selection and taste have room of improvement. Other than that is enjoying the stay in hotel

Hotel slightly dated but well maintained. Service was excellent though. Location is good for many eateries around and not too far away from the Tapae Gate (not walking distance though-20 minutes walk).
I’ve stayed here 3 times and I always come back to this hotel when I visit Chiangmai. 100% recommended, I love this hotel!! The staff is very friendly and give us amazing hospitality
The location was within walking distance to many beautiful temples, restaurants and shopping, The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent
My husband and I liked this place for it's convenient location and the great quality for a low price. We liked the cafe located right outside
We really enjoyed our stay at Le Naview! As a family of four adults, we had enough space in the family room (x2 king beds) for us not to be on top of one another
the food at the cafe on G/F offer great variety of food and reasonable, they can deliver their food to the swimming pool too

Good hotel. Great staffs. Perfect location.
The hotel is small and located in a quiet area. The rooms are clean and suitable for families, with two beds and two bathrooms. However, the sanitary facilities are old and the bathrooms have a very unpleasant smell
Breakfast is simple, and the staff are average. There are many good restaurants and shops nearby
Good boutique hotel. A bit dated but still nice. Great location. Just beware that if you accidentally break a glass in the room they will charge you. The front desk has no choice. Hotel policy.
I spent 4 night stay during New Year weekend -- I would say --Like the majority of the hotel available services -- the room is spacious -- really good with the bed & mattress( always my #1 priority to review the hotel due to my chronic back pain issues that require Lidocaine patch to standby-- if I have problems after the 1 st night stay) -- all equipments in the room match the definition of ...

This hotel is a sister property to Makkachiva, which explains why the breakfast is so delicious! They're located very close to each other, and the front desk even offered to pay for my ride over here
The hotel's location is fantastic, and the surroundings are very peaceful. It's close to everything, making it super convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation
This hotel is very conveniently located in the old town, with a fantastic location
The hotel's exterior is like a work of art, and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home! The only downside is the room facilities; the toilet seat in the bathroom keeps falling off (it's a bit old)
The hotel is pretty close to all the tourist attractions and restaurants in the old city. The front desk service is excellent. However the room size is relatively compact but clean. The hotel serves excellent breakfast
Makka's rooms are a bit small, but the bed is huge. The curtains don't block out much light, and there's no luggage rack. Also, the shower area in the bathroom is quite dark
