There is no staff to help you out if you to transfer your luggage. Cost is higher but no service is provided at all. Rooms were not clean and not each room has wash room. Will not suggest to stay here, fully disappointed

Probably it was a nice place many years ago. Now it eagers for renovation. Room is clean enough, but totally shaby. No furniture at the balcony. Smell. Noice from the public corridor - inside the apartment you perfectly hear every sound behind the entrance door.

There is no front desk nor any room service including room cleaning. There is no one on duty outside of 9:00-21:00. Check-in, check-out and luggage storage are not allowed. We went to the duty room to check out at 8 o'clock in the morning and there was no one on duty. However, the day trip we had booked was already picked up at the hotel. The solution is to wait until they get to work, and when they come back from the day trip to check out, they will charge an additional half day's rent on the grounds that the check out is overdue. Otherwise, they will not give back their passports. This is a really disgusting hotel.

Booked Baycliff Resudence but was told upgraded to Privelege condo nearby not sure why!Spacious rooms with rooftop access but nothing to see except the opposite condo.Wifi is good and plentiful of thai tv channels and a bit of english.Housekeeping everyday with replenishing drinking water.One thing worth mentioning the frontdesk guy went all the way to our room @6am coz we checking out early to head to airport. Just across the streets two excellent halal food restaurants must try ie. Kalim Rimlay & Pantai Seaview restaurants - so yummy and majestic view during the sunset.

I like the general area and the amenities offered at The Baycliff Residence however there is a large difference in room quality and we stayed in an older front area this time but I will and suggest to go back to the rear next time.

Pros: good clean room, jacqusie, swimming pool, good staff, spacious.
Cons: room was too high, >60 steps to our room, Not for SENIOR CETIZENS. No room service. No restaurants in hotel.
Overall: Liked it because we all didn't mind walking stairs and we brought food with us for complete stay.

I was supposed to stay at the baycliff residences but due to the room not being available I was shifted to the privilege which is connected to the baycliff residence.
I am writing this review because both the buildings are fairly new and have the same layout also owned by one person. And I was extensively using baycliff facilities during my stay.
The room was spacious and well equipped, modern interiors, 2 large televisions, fully operable kitchen, jaccuzi in the bathroom and balcony. Mountain view.
There is a decent gym at the ground floor and 24 hours pool access. Since we wanted to ensure we walk daily this hotels location was ideal as it is about 2-3 km from Patong beach.
The privilege and baycliffe residences are owned by the same person so one can use all the facilities of both the buildings.
I read some reviews stating that reception was closed at midnight. It is untrue the reception was open 24 hours during my stay.
For the money I paid I believe this was a steal.

This is a condominium and not a hotel, it is part owned by resident/owners and part is managed for a short term stay by unprofessional staff in the office building of The Privilege and Baycliff residence for a short term stays. When you walk in to check in they looked like they have seen a ghost and english level is very poor so it is hard to understand. Also during a month stay, we had a 4-5 daily power cuts, meaning no power, no water, no lights, no aircon. Very difficult to enjoy holiday ! Staff offered to change a room for additional 3,000 TBH per night. What a scam ! Do not book a stay here. Try "The Deck Condominium" Patong Beach instead, it has better location and can walk to anywhere.

Beautiful apartment, 5 star, very spacious, spotlessly clean, 3 air con units, 2 in large lounge/kitchen area and 1 bedroom, 2 tv's, private plunge pool and balcony. Shared infinity pool.
